Located in South Lafayette, This spacious 3 bedroom home is located in a great quiet neighborhood just minutes away from the Youngsville Sports Complex, Restaurants, Shopping Centers, the Lafayette Zoo & More! House is an Open Floor Plan with Master Bedroom & Master Bath one on side of the house. Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed. The Two other bedrooms located on the opposite side of the house. One Bedroom has a Queen Size Bed and the other bedroom has a Queen Size Air Bed.

Terrible Place

House should definitely be taken off Vrbo, worst quality I’ve ever had on the site. Showers were moldy and mildewed, whole house felt sticky and nasty. Front door looked like it had been kicked in and patched up, lock barely worked. Worst beds I’ve ever slept on, one of which was an air mattress. Yard looked like it hadn’t been cut yet this year. Neighborhood felt unsafe and eighbors were outside drinking and being loud. The remodeling of the house looked like they hired a crackhead off the street. Definitely should have upgraded to the local roach motel!!

Horrid

Everything in the house was broken or missing. There was only one actual, usable bed in the house. One of the guest rooms only had an inflatable mattress on the floor. The master bed had been broken & repairs attempted multiple times. However, attempts were unsuccessful. We thought it would collapse into the floor, & every movement resulted in a very loud noise—we didn’t sleep in there. When we tried to look @the bed frame, initially, to examine the issue, there was “medical trash”under the bed. Biohazard. The place looked halfway clean when we arrived, but that, coupled with the paint job, & multiple poorly done patches to holes in the walls, we started to wonder if the house was really that clean. The dishwasher was broken, the microwave was broken, the shower leaked so spectacularly that the noise echoed through several rooms. Other faucets leaked & or sprayed water out in random directions. However, even with all of these problems I was not going to complain. I cleaned the house myself for my own peace, &let the hosts know the bed was broken upon arrival. They told me they didn’t realize it was broken, &offered to come fix it. But, we were not @ the house @ the time, &it was obvious they knew based on the patchwork under the bed. The final straw came when we came back from visiting family & the AC had quit. My dogs were there, kenneled, as per host request, & were panting &overheating. Tried opening windows, no screens! Left immediately. Should have been refunded.

Needs a little work/investment

First off, it was an okay place to stay, neighborhood was nice and quiet and the place was reasonably clean. There was a washer/dryer, a kitchen that worked and beds to sleep in. The beds and mattress' were unanimously disliked, one was basically an air mattress, one bed was physically falling apart and no one slept particularly well in any of them. The microwave and dishwasher were broken, no can opener, there was no shampoo/conditioner which are listed on the listing. The place needed a deep clean with a vacuum and was rather barren as the kitchen table sat 2 so with the two barstools facing the kitchen one of our party of 5 had to stand when we wanted to have a meal together. Obviously the repair/remodel performed by a mediocre handyman rather than a contractor but those issues were mostly cosmetic. An investment in better furniture and repairs would make this a 5 star rental.

Dining & living room could not sit 6 people. Super small high bar table for only 2 people maybe 2 ft across in dining. Only sofa in living room (no other chairs) so living could only sit 3 people. There were 3 bar stools at kitchen counter for additional seating but we were forced to bring in beach and ball park chairs to accommodate us. Not enough dishes / place setting for 6 either. Oven, freezer / ice maker and window blinds were not clean. Incomplete finish work (painting, shiplap, baseboards). On positive note, air conditioning worked, bathroom was supplied with toiletries, coffee bar was stocked, washing detergent was supplied along with kitchen essentials. Overall place was clean and affordable and met our needs.

Definitely Not Comfortable

It was as if someone said, “what’s the least amount of furniture we can get away with” and then proceeded to get the worst possible version of that. One bedroom had an inflatable bed on the floor. The other 2 bedrooms had “beds” that were painfully uncomfortable. The master shower was disgusting - you could see scrub marks where some of the filth had been removed so it was possible to get it clean and someone simply didn’t. If you just need a roof over your head, it’s fine, but don’t expect more than that.

Le logement est confortable et très équipé sauf que dans l'une des chambre double nous avions dormis sur matelas gonflable qui reste toutefois inconfortable pour 2 personnes. Lors de notre séjour le lave vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas et nous avions eu des fuites d'eau provenant du levier de la cuisine. Malgré ces soucis techniques le quartier est très calme il fait bon y vivre pour un séjour de vacance. A noter qu'il serait intéressant que le propriétaire installe une table de jardin à l'extérieur du jardin pour déjeuner ou pour prendre l’apéritif

Worked just fine for our needs!

House/neighborhood is quiet and nice. House could use little more seating in living room. Overall I would say solid 7 out of 10, would recommend and stay again if necessary.

Decent place

House was clean. Sparsely furnished so space tends to echo. Nice neighborhood but homes are extremely close to each other. I fee like communication could been better. I didn’t receive check in information until about 1.5 hours before check in. I had to leave home before then so unable to print the information. There was no expectations communicated by home owner such as remove trash or place lines and towels in a certain location. I like to know the expectation so that I am able to meet them. Overall good stay.

In town for a 4 day golf event with family

Enjoyed staying ; the home is clean and as advertised ; very quiet neighborhood for great sleep at night ; showers had hot water! Space was more than adequate for the grandparents, my wife and daughter and myself. My daughter took the air mattress bedroom and said it was fine. Two Wi-Fi TV’s worked fine. Kitchen a bit spartan with some items but all in all more than adequate. Would def stay again. Price is a solid value for sure.

Our Stay in Youngsville

The house was in a great location for what we needed; a baseball tournament in Youngsville. The only negative thing is that the backyard needed to be mowed but other than that the home was clean and met our needs. Just a few minor suggestions.. the middle bedroom needs a mattress and a bigger dining room table would be nice for families that stay here. Thank you for hosting.
