Tämä tilava 3 makuuhuoneen, 3 kylpyammeen (kahdessa lasi-suihkulaatikoilla) kattohuoneisto sijaitsee vain puoli korttelin päässä kuuluisalta Copacabanan rannalta ja mahtuu mukavasti jopa kuuden aikuisen juhliin. Kattohuoneistosta on näkymä merelle ja vuorille molemmista terasseista. Marmoriistuimet ja kiskot kaikilla terasseilla, joten näkymiä ja tuulet ovat maksimaaliset. Molemmat terassit ovat yksinomaisia kattohuoneistolle ja niihin pääsee vain huoneiston sisäpuolelta. Yksi on avoin auringolle ja toisella on läpikuultava katto. Varustettu iso keittiö, avoin olohuoneelle, tilava olohuone ja ruokasaliyhdistelmä. Kaikki katot ovat 12 jalkaa korkeita, brasilialaiset taiteilijat ovat alkaneet taidetta, nahkakalusteita ja kaikkia luonnollisia kasveja. Remontti valmistui syyskuussa 2012. Mukavuutesi vuoksi jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa ja oleskelutilassa on ilmastointilaite ja kattotuuletin. Mukavuuksiin kuuluu 47'-LED-TV, WIFI, kaapeli, vierekkäin varustettu jääkaappi jääpalakoneella ovella, mikroaaltouuni, silmäluokan uuni, kaasuliesi, leivänpaahdin, tehosekoitin, langaton internetyhteys, LED-valot jokaisen sängyn yläpuolella lukemista varten ja suora ilmainen puhelinlinja Yhdysvaltoihin ja Kanadaan. Tarjolla on myös pyyhkeitä, liinavaatteita, 3 tallelokeroa, pimennysikkunoiden hoitoja kaikissa makuuhuoneissa ja siivouspalvelu kahdesti viikossa. Ipanema- ja Arpoador-alueiden läheisyyden vuoksi vieraat voivat kävellä sunnuntaisin Hippie-messuille tai käydä kaupoissa, ravintoloissa ja Ipaneman ja Arpoadorin rannoilla. Huoneiston ympärillä on lukuisia ravintoloita, elokuvateatteri, yökerhoja ja kuuluisa Copacabanan ranta.
Kadun toisella puolella on uusi 24 tunnin ylöspäin suuntautuva bistro Magu. Ruoka, viini, olut jne. On saatavana ympäri vuorokauden. Upea sisustus.
Siellä on kauniita kasveja ja isännöitsijä Lamartine tulee joka toinen päivä kastelemaan kasveja. Kaikki rakastavat terasseja ja nauttivat kasveista ..... etenkin hibiscus.

Bel appartement, bien situé

Appartement très bien situé à 100 m de la plage de Copacabana et à 10 mn à pied de la station de métro Cantalago. Appartement superbement décoré et fonctionnel ,3 chambres et 3 SDB, mais une chambre est vraiment très petite, sans porte fenêtre, avec toutefois une SDB attenante, mais surtout bruits de l'ascenseur très gênants la nuit. Donc à déconseiller pour 3 couples car l'un est défavorisé. Il manque aussi une bouilloire éléctrique et des sèches cheveux et les verres sont un peu dépareillés. Superbe séjour quand même.

Spacious and hospitable

Lots of room in this apartment! Three bedrooms, three baths, two patios, large common area. Several US electrical outlets - we didn't need our converters at all. Owner provides a few days worth of coffee, soap, and other needs. Grocery store is right around the corner. Walking distance to beach, shops, metro. Never felt unsafe. People are very friendly and happy to help. We had a wonderful time!

Gostaria de começar dizendo que para mim as fotos são boas, mas não conseguem traduzir a beleza, energia desse apartamento, que é INCRÍVEL!!! O apartamento é super espaçoso, as camas são confortáveis, chuveiros bons, não cozinhamos no apartamento mas observamos que tem os utensílios necessários para isso também!! Ficamos apaixonados por tudo, desde a recepção até o serviço da portaria!! O apartamento esta super bem localizado, perto da praia, perto de ótimos restaurantes, farmácia, supermercado.. da pra fazer tudo em um raio de três quadras, o que pra nós que somos de fora é incrível!! Enfim, SUPER RECOMENDO e não vejo a hora de voltar para o rio com a minha família e me hospedar lá novamente!!! Obrigada!!

Property was better than I anticipated! Great location, very clean, close to everything we needed. Amazing stay in Rio!!!

I honestly don’t know where to start! I guess I will the host Yates. His communication skills were phenomenal. He was provided me information about Rio before I stepped foot on a plane. Also, Lamartine was excellent, he showed us the apartment and all the amenities. He also was responsible for getting us to our location. He is awesome. Now to the location! It’s one block away from the beach!!! It’s also located near plenty of food options and bars. This is an excellent place to stay and appreciate Yates and his team for allowing my friends and I to stay.

Beautiful penthouse apartment conveniently located.

Check in was super easy. The apartment is very beautiful with local art. The building is near the beach, restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend and will stay here again.

Top Lage - Top Ausstattung - Top Service - Jederzeit wieder!!

Wir (ein Paar, auch wenn locker 4 Personen Platz hätten) waren in der Zeit vom 17.10. bis 25.10.2019 zu Gast. Das Apartment liegt einen Block von der Copacabana entfernt und 3 Blocks von der Metro. Unten im Haus das beste Fischrestaurant der Stadt. Auch sonst alles, was man sich wünschen kann, in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Umgang mit sowohl Yates (dem Vermieter) als auch mit Lamartine (dem Manager vor Ort) war super angenehm und hilfreich. Das Penthouse liegt im 13. Stock, ist stylish eingerichtet und alles funktioniert. Dazu sehr freundliche 24h-Security. Kurz: Wir haben uns in jeder Hinsicht wohl gefühlt! Wiederholungswahrscheinichkeit 100%!

We had a great time and would stay again!

Couldn't have asked for better hosts. Yates and Lamartine were very communicative, helpful, and super nice. The location was also excellent. We were able to easily walk to the supermarket, beach, and numerous restaurants. I think we tried to eat at every restaurant on that square block. The kids ate McDonald's and we had everything else. The food was so good. The building was also great and we felt very secure in the area. The security guards were present 24/7 and were very friendly and helpful as we came and went. The only con is that we had a hard time getting hot water in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and the floors didn't look dirty visually (very light in color) but the bottoms of my kids' feet said otherwise. We never complained it about so there could have been an easy fix for all of that but we didn't bother to ask about it because it was not a deal breaker for us. We had a great time and would stay again! Thank you.

An Unforgettable Experience

The apartment itself is unique and well worth returning to if we traveled to Brasil again. It provided every amenity of a fully equipped apartment. We appreciated that personal towels and washcloths were provided. The view the the porch was very nice. It was spacious with such a great display of Brazilian art. I enjoyed quiet time on the covered porch with the beautiful array of plant life that added an atmosphere of peace. It is private even though it seems to be located in midst of local activity. We were able to get a great view of the New Years fire works from the back porch with no obstruction. The furnishings are very modern with a rich feel and the beds made for a comfortable sleep. **I feel the apartment is well situated in the heart of experiencing Brasil at its best. The walk to the beach was an amazing venture. The sidewalk merchants, the outdoor pubs, the selling on the beach are all part of my forever memories. There are plenty of landmarks to navigate back and forth to the secure and gated apartment when we went out. The apartment is located to have easy access to the outdoor restaurants and the convenience of the food market and shopping. This makes it real easy for first time visitors. We were careful not to venture to far. The Brazilian people are warm and helpful when we stumbled through interpreting English and Portuguese. Highly recommended

Perfect penthouse for a vacation

The apartment is a little better than described. There is a washer and a dryer and clothes lines - the latter is rare in Rio de Janeiro. The furniture and furnishings, above all the two main beds are wonderful. The views of the ocean and beach are great. Although there are restaurants and bars on the street level, the apartment is too high up to hear all that noise below. The kitchen has everything you want. The greenery from the many plants is a delightful. The owner was very conscientious in attending to any calls or emails. The bus stops are a block away.

Perfect location in Copacabana

Great location in Copacabana. 2 blocks from the beach, about a 15 min walk to Ipanema. The doorman to the building was very nice and check-in/out was a piece of cake. The large patio was perfect for lounging at the end of the day, and the apartment itself was very spacious. Only downside was that the 3rd bathroom was under construction when we arrived, and with 6 women staying there, we opted for this place specifically for the 3rd bathroom. Be sure to use the fans in the apartment as it was very humid outside and could make the place seem muggy!

A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY

I found Yate´s apt. to be a an excellent choice and more benefitial than a hotel. I was with a friend so we had our separate bedrooms. Very comfortable and with the usual amenities provided. Comfortable bed, linens, towels etc. The kitchen is super modern and with all the essentials for cooking. Plenty of silverware, plates, dishes, coffee maker, stove etc. Nothing lacking. The living and dining area are very nicely decorated and comfortable. There is a spacious dining room table and the living room is furnished with nice chairs and sofa plus a wide-screen tv. The outdoor patio is super. Furnished with nice outdoor furniture and surrounded by vegetation and flowers. A great place to enjoy your meals or just hang out. Depending on the season you are in Rio, the apt. is fully equipped with AC units in the bedroom and fans. You will always feel comfortable. The location is excellent. It is a half block from Av. Atlantica and the adjoining area is full of restaurants, shops, the subway. All within walking distance. I can honestly say I dont know how Yate´s could possibly improve his property. You can feel the sense of taste and dedication he has put into it in each room. You wont be disappointed!

Prefect place to stay for our son's wedding!

The location is great! Walking distance to both beaches (Copacabana and Ipanema). Plenty of restaurants close by (Ume sushi and Escondido CA pub were two of our favorites, along with brunch at the navial base). Several grocery stores near by too. The hippy market on Sunday was fun again all walkable distances from the amazing penthouse. The manager (Lamartine) was wonderful before, during and at the end of our stay, just a text or call away, he left you alone unless you wanted him for something. The artwork was amazing, the kitchen had pretty much everything you needed to cook with but why cook with all the restaurants near by! What wasn't near enough to walk to Uber worked great getting you safely to your destination. Only complaint would be that the dryer doesn't heat up and the beds are too firm for my curved body.

Unique stay in very close to the best beaches

Location - excellent - 3 minutes from Copacabana beach and 15 min walk from Ipanema beach. Also it is next to many restaurants, cafes, juice bars and groceries Amenities - Penthouse is spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with a very two balconies/terraces overlooking the beach. The third bedroom by the kitchen area is a bit smaller - suitable for kids. Minor touches to the penthouse made our stay comfortable. There was a coffee machine - which is not standard in Brazilian hotels. There were sufficient tools for cooking. We have dietary restrictions - so this was a big plus for us. All the power points in the house are US compatible! Access to sightseeing tours - The Rio Othon Palace hotel next door has many tours. We not only took a city tour but also enjoyed a football game - an experience not to be missed. Jesse and Lamartine, the property managers gave practical tips. Being locals, they will share their invaluable experience. Bonus - Penthouse is very nicely decorated with an artistic eye. The balcony / terrace with a small fountain was a relaxing place for morning coffee/tea and meditation. There is 24 hr security at the door and the neighbourhood feels safe. There is a 24 hr pizza, bar close by. So we were able to have a good meal after a late arrival. The Penthouse is in a residential building, so we had to follow some etiquettes - Brazilians are very particular and the security guard at the door politely reminded us when we were new. The best of all is the personal service we received from Jesse and Lamartine. They took personal care to not only welcome us, make sure we are comfortable, arranged for transportation to/from airport but also came by to say good bye. Yates and his team are proud of their service and made sure we had a great stay. Not just during the stay but they also addressed my emails and all my questions to help me plan my stay. Fitness - since this is an apartment, no fitness club included. But you will find there are many people working out on the beach as well as fitness clubs close by. Tips - keep in mind the rules of using the Social and service elevators. The juice bars near by are great. And if you are a vegan/vegetarian, there is a restaurant around the block. As with every shower I found in Brazil - it takes some time getting used to getting the right setting. Plenty of travel books on Rio and Brazil can be found. The Penthouse is tastefully decorated - spend time enjoying sights & sounds.

Excelente propiedad. Todo tal y mejor como se ve en las fotografías. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Fui con mi familia, 4 hijos y mi esposo y pasamos unas excelentes vacaciones en un lugar cómodo, impecable, con todas las comodidades. Bien ubicado, seguro. Sin duda, recomendaremos el lugar y si volvemos a Rio de Janeiro, lo haremos a este Penthouse.

Great place and excellent location

This property is absolutely perfect in a multitude of ways. It is modern, clean with access to everything you need. The grocery store is a block away, the beach is a block away, restaurants, pastry shops, Starbucks..and need I say more. Lamartine (the on sight contact) was there for my arrival and left a phone number should we have needed anything but never intruded after that. To me that is ideal, as privacy is important. The air conditioning was plenty cool with a nice remote for adjustment. The same applies to the lighting. The large outside terrace/garden area was perfect for gathering for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The small outside terrace is the one that has the view and that would be the only thing I would change about this beautiful home. The small terrace has lots of plants but would be lovely with a high table to look at the fabulous view. The area was perfect as well. I never once felt unsafe in the neighborhood as there were always plenty of people buzzing around with all the businesses in the area. In fact I think Rio (and Brazil in general) gets an unnecessary bad rap as far as safety goes. One word of caution; the penthouse is located on the 13th floor and the elevator only goes to 12. If you are traveling with someone elderly or handicapped, be aware that there is one flight of stairs you must climb. And a big thanks to Yates for allowing us to check out four hours after check out time due to our late flight. He did not charge us even though I offered. VERY gracious. Obrigado! Barbara Pecoraro

I could comfortably live the rest of my life in Copacabana.....there is such a wide variety of shops, entertainment, amusements and people here. The apartment is large and has great out door spaces with lovely blooming plants.
Since I live here, the apartment is designed to be comfortable and practical.
