. . . . TERVETULOA! Nauti Vanhan Hawaiin “Alohasta” modernissa, ilmastoidussa mukavuudessa. # 114 on pohjakerroksen 1 makuuhuoneen merenrantahotelli Länsi-Mauin romanttisimmalla paikalla. Huoneisto avautuu suoraan maisemoituun nurmikolle, jossa on lämmitetty uima-allas ja grillausmahdollisuus. Honokeana-lahti on suoraan lanaiisi edessä - yksinäinen ja tungosta snorklausta tarjoava alue, jossa on trooppisia kaloja ja korallipuutarhoja. Täällä voit uida vain metrin päässä monista jättiläisistä Vihreän merikilpikonnien eläimistä, jotka sijaitsevat lahtana. Ei väkijoukkoja tai konkreettisia täällä! Vain 38 matalakerrostaloa yksityisessä porteissa aivan meren rannalla.

. . . . YKSIKKÖTÄ. # 114 on aivan merenrannan keskustassa. Huoneisto on terävää ja puhdasta, siinä on kuohuviiniä laattoja ja kiviä sekä havaijilaisia kankaita ja kuvia. Rentoudu länteen päin olevalla Lanai-alueella ja nauti laajoista merinäköalasta, surffauksista, iltapäivän auringosta ja romanttisista auringonlaskuista. Valaskauden aikana kohovalaat puhaltavat ja roiskuvat Molokai-kanavalla.

. . . . ILMASTOINTI LÄMPÖTILAAN (ilman lisämaksua). # 114 on moderni, hyvin varusteltu mukavuuteesi ja rentoutumiseesi. Ilmastoidussa makuuhuoneessa voi olla parivuode tai kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Äänieristysikkunat ja pimennysverhot takaavat hiljaisen ja rauhallisen unen. Sängyissä on toisella puolella vaahtopeitteisiä, muttei toisia: jos patja on liian pehmeä tai liian kiinteä, voit kääntää sen yli. Ilmastoidussa olohuoneessa on queen-vuodesohva ja siellä on taitettava näyttö (säilytetään king-vuoteen alla) ylimääräistä yksityisyyttä haluttaessa.

. . . . MODERNIN KEITTIÖ. # 114 -keittiö on täysin varusteltu, graniittilaskurilla ja melkein kaikella, mitä tottunut olemaan kotona. Pidämme sitä ajan tasalla: ostimme äskettäin uudet Henckel-keittiöveitset ja pihviveitset; uudet Circulon kattilat ja pannut; & uudet muoviset kuivausrummut. Tarjolla on taulukkoasetuksia 8: lle. Kodinkoneet ovat täysikokoisia: astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, uuni, liesituuletin ja jääkaappi pohjassa olevalla pakastimella ja jääpalakoneella. Meillä ei ole suurta jalustinsekoitinta tai ruoanvalmistajaa, mutta meillä on tehosekoitin, miniruokahakkuri, sähköinen käsisekoitin, sähköinen purkinavaaja ja kahvimylly.

. . . . Nautiskelemasi. # 114-lanalla on rinnassa snorklausta varten tarvittavia laitteita - naamiot, snorkkerit ja evät. Olohuoneessa on älytelevisio, johon on jo asennettu Netflix, Amazon Prime ja Pandora. Siinä on myös keittokirjoja, havaijilaisia kirjoja, pelejä ja klassisia havaijilaisia elokuvia.

The best time ever!

My husband and I had the time of our lives! First time to Maui and this perfect place. One of the best equipped suites we've rented on VRBO. Read the other reviews.... it's all true! We are now talking about how we can come back next Dec. The complex is a special community all unto itself. A rare gem!

Honokeana Cove Gem

We have stayed at Honokeana cove at least a dozen times. We usually stay in a larger unit with friends, but had time all to ourselves this time, so moved into this wonderful one bedroom unit. The kitchen has everything you need, and then some. The library is great, with books on the islands, reference books, and lots of just fun reading. We want to stay longer next time and do some more reading. The place is decorated beautifully, and you feel at home right off the bat. And one of the best parts is the extra windows in the bedroom that block out all street noise, and help you get a good night's sleep. All the places around the cove that Art & Nola have listed here, and great, and we have enjoyed most of them, but got a few good ideas from the listings. Highly recommended, and a great value!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best vacation here. The snorkeling in the cove is amazing. It's sheltered from the waves, and full of fish and turtles. And it was just steps from our unit. We enjoyed the sunset over the ocean every night eating dinner outside. And unit 114 contained everything you need for a beach vacation. Along with a fully stocked kitchen, it was just like being at home. Condo sleeps 4, and the two kids slept on the sofa bed in the living room. I wouldn't recommend 4 adults staying over, but perfect for a family with 2 young kids. This is an amazing place to stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Reviewer Comments: This 2023 trip to Condo #114 was the makeup trip for an identical one we had to cancel in June, 2022, due to Cindy breaking a leg just 4 days before the 2022 trip was to begin.Honokeana office staff were great at transferring our payments from 2022 to the new 2023 reservation. Everything having to do with the office side of the reservation went smoothly, and we were kept informed of gate codes, etc.Condo #114 isa very well-appointed condo, and had a number of amenities provided by the owners we have not seen in other Honokeana units (we have stayed in three other Honokeana condos).We also very much appreciate the attention given to keeping the grounds, BBQ, pool and general facilities in good order.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would have been a five start across the board, if the bed was not old & worn. It was a twin put together as a king. It had a giant lump running the length of the bed where the two mattress are put together. Then a squishy "topper" on top of that. Other than that, it was perfect. Both the owner, and the manager are aware of this. Perhaps they will replace the mattress soon. I would love to go back, if they do.

Unit 114 at The Cove is perfect for 2 people!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was gorgeous and so well equipped! Not only could we walk right out to the lawn, then a few more steps to the ocean to snorkel with turtles or use the pool, we were able to enjoy the sun setting right from our lanai in April! This condo was the most well equipped unit we have ever rented, having everything you would ever want. Even the knives were sharp! We truly appreciate the care the owners put into their unit and their excellent communication! There was snorkel gear available for use, great maps and info about Maui, beach chairs and an ice chest. Plus, two air conditioners if the weather is hot. You will not be disappointed if you book 114. Honokeana Cove is the best place to rent if you like to snorkel. Easy access to the cove, which has MANY resident sea turtles and clear water with lots of different fish. The swimming pool is heated, so when you get out of the ocean water, you can dip into the pool and it is like having a hot tub! Although there is public access to the cove, it would be too tough for less agile people to get in and out. We are 75 and had zero problems with ocean access while staying at Honokeana Cove.

Best place on Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in #114. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the Unit including snorkeling items and boogie boards. Bed was iffy but we managed. The sofa bed was not good but most aren't. The owners of the unit have provided possible solutions but beds are beds and different for everyone. A huge wedding party had taken over most of the complex leaving not much options for others but we were there during Spring Break and that is risks of popular vacation times. The same thing happened when we were there 2 years ago in June. Property did not seem to be managed as well as it was on my last trip. Woke up every morning to left over party items on the grounds....not attractive in paradise. Tons of little kids so early times in the mornings but quiet by 10 pm so was doable. There were three in our party....three women. Bottom line is this complex with access to the turtles in the cove was wonderful. I've been here 4 times and still think it is the only place to stay and highly recommend Unit 114. If you have the chance, highly recommend Annabelle and Warren's Magic Show. A different activity from the usual attractions but worth every penny and I guarantee you will leave with your jaws hurting from laughter. Not your typical magic show. Make sure you eat at Aloha Plate....great food and good prices. If you eat at Bubba Gumps try the Iced Mai Tai...the best ever. Gave a 4 on overall satisfaction with our stay only because of the complex's non attention to printed rules but our unit itself was perfect. I know you will love it. Enjoy your trip.

Our unit, 114 was perfectly located. The unit needs a bit of modernizing and WAY TOO MUCH furniture and art and knickknacks. The bottom sheets didn't really fit. The bed linens in general were old and of low quality, The sauce pans need replacement.

Here’s a message from Nola and Art: We live in Southeast Michigan and have roots in Southern California and the New York City area. Now we are mostly retired; previously, Art was a research lab director (see ArtChester.net) and Nola worked at General Motors. Our neighbors in Malibu had been coming to Honokeana Cove for many years and they persuaded us to give it a try. We loved it immediately! Nicer and more personal than the big resort hotels where we used to vacation. Instead of a mile walk from the parking lot and a mile walk down the hall to your room, at the Cove we can walk off our lanai and we’re “right there” – into the swimming pool, or into the ocean. And swimming with those giant turtles is a unique, almost spiritual experience. We are happy to be able to share this special place with you! Art and Nola Chester

When Unit 114 became available, we immediately wanted to buy it. Why? Because it’s on the ground floor, you can use your lanai as your “front door”, so you’re not always running up and down stairs. Because it’s centrally located, facing West, with a completely unobstructed view of lawn, pool, Cove and sunsets. And because it’s in the center building, which gets sun and afternoon breezes. We update appliances or furniture almost every year. You will find the condo crisp and clean, with sparkling tile and stone, plus Hawaiian fabrics and prints. There's a big ceramic turtle on the wall of our lanai, in honor of the even bigger ones that live in the Cove.

Nola & Art say: Napili is a great location when visiting Maui, the most beautifully varied of all the Hawaiian islands. It’s a 7 minute drive to the West Maui airport (JHM), or you can also fly in and out of the “big” airport in Kahului (OGG), 55 minutes away. Napili is a quiet location between the big resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. You can easily get to those places when you want to shop, play golf or tennis, or visit a special restaurant, but you don’t have to put up with their crowds the rest of the time. Honolua Bay, D T Fleming beach, and the uncrowded northwest coast are just minutes to the north. Lahaina Town, with its bustle and excitement, is just as close to the south.

In all of Napili, we believe that Honokeana Cove is the very best spot! It is a small gated compound of 38 low-rise units gathered around a private cove. The Cove has wonderful snorkeling, with tropical fish, coral gardens and plenty of giant Sea Turtles. Just outside the Cove, visible from your lanai, is one of West Maui’s top surfing spots, where you will see local surfers showing their skills. And if you want a sandy beach for variety, Napili Bay, one of Maui’s most beautiful, is just 5 minutes walk (¼ mile) to the north.
