Our freshly updated upstairs level retreat sleeps up to 8 with 2 king beds, a full bunk bed and queen sleeper sofa in living room. You will experience full privacy and a well thought out furniture arrangement with a full length, private front porch, sure to help you relax after a day of beach go-ing. 4 Bikes are included at no extra charge. Our 6-seater golf cart is available with signed agreement (DRIVERS MUST BE 21+) Single car driveway with overflow parking across the street at The Big Chill. Pets will be considered but will require an approval with pet inquiry and a paid pet fee of $150 per reservation.
PLEASE NOTE, A RENTAL AGREEMENT REQUIRING SIGNATURE WILL BE SENT AFTER BOOKING IS CONFIRMED.
But why "The Truman Retreat" you ask? For years we have loved the movie, The Truman Show. We learned while on a trip to Destin that The Truman Show was filmed In the wonderful beach community of Seaside, just a short drive from Prominence. Throughout our beach home you will see small nods to the movie. May your stay here be a break from reality.

We hope you find comfort In our private rental. Our hope is that it be a way escape the hectic pace of everyday life and experience a sense of peace and relaxation, just like Truman did when he left his fake world behind. May you enjoy the sea the same way Truman did. May you enjoy the patio and find that it is the perfect space to lounge and watch the world go by. We hope that The Truman Retreat will be the perfect spot to disconnect and unwind.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was a spacious place for our family of 4 and very clean. There are plenty of kitchen items if you plan to cook at the house. And great family games! The golf cart can get you to the beach no problem. It just takes about 5-10 minutes. Prominence is a great location right between Rosemary & Seaside if you want to do any touristy things! Having the Big Chill right across the street is super fun for kids, as well. Hosts are super responsive via text if you need anything. We really just cannot say enough good things! We hope to come back!

Thank you to Amanda and her family for such a great week at their rental! This location is perfect to explore all of 30A and our two young children had a blast! The rental had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. We hope to be back again soon!

Wonderful 1st time experience in 30A!

Prominence, our condo, the host, everything was wonderful! We will definitely stay again when we return to 30A. Prominence is a perfect place to stay- it is out of the busyness of the other areas, but close enough to enjoy everything. Our host was so very helpful with where to go to access the beach and was very responsive to any questions or issues that arose. 100% recommend this Vrbo and our host! Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful unit with everything you could need. The golf cart/LSV was perfect for our family of five. Our kids especially loved the large bunk setup in the second bedroom. Excellent communication with the host through the entire process. Thanks!

Paradise!

We had a 4 night stay for spring break and loved everything about this rental! We had early access, the place was clean, beautiful, had everything we needed and comfy beds! It was awesome that they provided beach towels and gear too! Amanda is a great communicator and super nice! We love this location and will definitely be back!

Wedding Stay

We stayed here for a wedding weekend... it was centrally located between Rosemary/Alys and Seaside, so convenient to restaurants and shops. And directly across the street is the BIG CHILL (with lots of food options).I was also VERY impressed with how responsive the owner was to our questions via text. I never had to wait for her to reply... she literally responded right back!The only caveat to this location, is that there is no direct beach access. You can bike or drive to several, but not walk. Other than that, its great!

Cameras INSIDE the condo - owner did NOT disclose this

When I arrived, the security person immediately rang the doorbell and told me that I cannot park on the street - I explained I was unloading and that I just arrived. She was extremely rude and demanded I move my vehicle to the pool area. Then the owners starting texting me asking me that they saw security at the door. They NEVER disclosed that there was an active camera on the front door. Then, I walked inside, there was a CAMERA INSIDE the home as well as INSIDE the garage. None of this was mentioned in the rental contract. I was SHOCKED. I wanted to leave immediately, however, the rental contract says NO REFUNDS. It was, by far, the worst stay I have ever experienced. I will never visit this property again or the community it is in. There were so many unacceptable things about this property - the worst being the cameras inside the home and the security people who were over-zealous and rude. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Perfect location!!!

The owner of this property is absolutely fantastic to work with !! Oh Don’t think twice about booking this beautiful two bedroom two bathroom two master suites location. Right across the street is restaurants & Cell shopping hub literally that is directly across the street. You will also have a golf cart that will get you to 30 a up and down from Seaside all the way down to Rosemary Beach The townhouse was absolutely perfect. Looks like a model home inside and was spotless clean everything was perfect. I would give this at 12 out of 10. That’s how great it is. Don’t hesitate to book this, especially if you are looking for privacy.. I went with a friend of mine so she had her master bathroom I had , my master bathroom TV and all the appliances are up-to-date and modern, truly second to none … Book it !!!

Perfect 30A rental

We loved our stay! This rental was very clean and roomy for our family. It is in the perfect location in 30A. Our daughters especially loved the golf cart, quick trips to the Big Chill, and the property pool. The host is a great communicator from booking, to packing, and throughout our stay.

Exactly what we needed!

Our first trip to the area and we are so glad we found this spot! Our host had great communication from the time we booked to the time we checked out. Easy check-in, clear instructions! The home was sized great for our family of 5 - the bunk room for the 3 kids was great, we did not use the pullout couch in the living room. The dining area and kitchen are more than enough to work with. The pantry is perfect for stocking up for the week and the kitchen is great to cook in. We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning looking west watching the sun come up over the tree line. We did not spend much time at the pool, we took the 5-10 min drive to seaside for the beach! We'd book this location and property again, it hit all the boxes without any snags to worry about!

Family 30 A vacation

This was our family's first time to the 30A area and we can't wait to go back! The Truman Retreat was amazing, definitely one of the cleanest and well-stocked rentals we have ever been to. Our kids (8 and 5 y.o.) enjoyed the bunk bed room. The bikes, golf cart, and beach gear were fun to use. The location was great, close to the Big Chill which was so fun, taking the golf cart to the public beach access was easy, the pool was so clean and nice. We loved every minute of our trip. Such a neat area!

This property was a dream! The host was extremely accommodating and communicative leading up to and during our stay. The property was nestled in a beautiful community that was family oriented and convenient to all beaches, restaurants and activities. It was spotless and had everything we needed to road trip with our little one. The beach gear, golf cart, pack and play, stroller and wagon were so incredibly helpful. The spot was beautiful and comfortable and the host recommendations didn’t disappoint. I would rebook in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Best vacation ever!!!

Had a wonderful stay at the Truman Retreat! Amanda was amazing and made every aspect of our stay simple & easy. Amanda was quick to respond to any questions and provided timely info in regards to check in/check out. The unit was the gorgeous and was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. It was equipped with everything we needed and more! The golf cart was also very nice for getting back and forth to the beach, pool, The Big Chill, Seaside, etc. This is a great location for exploring 30A. We really loved the heated pool and proximity close to beach access. We also loved being across the street from The Big Chill. This unit is centrally located, close to Rosemary & Aly’s Beach to the east and Seaside & Grayton Beach to the west. Thank you to Amanda for a wonderful trip. We are already planning our next visit!!!

The owner was extremely responsive and communicative with us about the property. We arrived to a super clean place, stocked with baby gear, games, and amenities. Walkable to pool and restaurants. Golf cart included which was great for beach days. So many features. Our kids loved the bunk room. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Clean, convenient, and fun.

It was a great trip for our family. The condo felt new and very clean. We enjoyed using the bikes and golf cart. The weather didn't cooperate, but we still had plenty to do. Our kids enjoyed the heated pool and we enjoyed the convenience of having dinner a couple of nights across the street at the big chill.

We are new to hosting but excited nonetheless. Our favorite thing to do at home is host others, so being able to offer our home away from home to others with the ability to allow memories to be made is something that most excites us in this process. We live in a southern suburb of Nashville, TN where we have resided since 2018. Prior to that we lived most of our lives in Las Vegas, NV. It's safe to say we went from Vegas to Nash Vegas! But truly we appreciate the slower pace of the South!

We love middle Tennessee, but look for any opportunity to visit the beach!

We fell in love with 30A from the moment we first drove down the avenue. When we stumbled upon Prominence and The Hub (now called The Big Chill) across the street from the neighborhood, it was entertainment for all and good food to go with. It was then that our dream to own a piece of 30A paradise and being able to share our home with others was something we quickly sought out to make come true. We're happy you're here and hope you love it as much as we do!
