It was a great property and a great location. The house was clean and very comfortable. We loved eating outside at the patio tables in the back.

Great location for exploring Central Oregon and Sisters. We would have given it 5 stars if the tv would have been more user friendly which, I believe, is being rectified. We used both bbq’s and ate most breakfasts and dinners there so appreciated the full service kitchen and enjoyed comfortable bedrooms.

This is a very nice house in Tollgate community. If you like log-cabin theme and log furniture then this is the place for you.Many things were top notch, such as mattress quality, sheets quality, and all appliances.There were a few missing items such as no scissors or BBQ cleaning brush. Also, as can be expected in a VRBO rental, some heavy-use items were past the point of needing to be repaired or replaced, such as one couch's springs, bicycles, and ping pong paddles. Don't expect super cool air conditioning on a hot day.A house with logs for walls, by its nature, will have low insulation. One wonders if this justifies the homeowner limiting the air condition setting remotely to 73 degrees downstairs, which was the situation we encountered for our first two evenings. This meant that temps in the low 90s outside resulted in the upstairs being a minimum of 76 degrees in the evening for getting to sleep. Several communications with the homeowners eventually resulted in them allowing the minimum A/C setting to be 69 degrees for the first floor of the house.The Tollgate shared facility has a very nice pool area (no hot tub though), along with nice courts for pickle ball, basketball, park, etc.All in all, staying in this house was a nice experience. Just be advised that it may be better to visit the house during mild times of the year for temperatures due to the home's low insulation values in the walls.

Amazing!

My 7 cousins and I booked this house for a girls' weekend and we couldn't have been happier! Lots of room, everything we could need and great location. Would absolute stay here again.

Our third stay

This has become our go-to family vacation spot. Host is gracious and helpful and the house is well-appointed. It’s an easy stay for our family—a short drive to town or outdoor activities, pool, tennis courts, huge table where we gather for for meals, big yard for playing, and comfortable porches for relaxing. Our first choice for our yearly vacation to Sisters.

Clark Sisters trip to Sisters

This trip was wonderful! The location was perfect, just minutes to town and easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. The beds are so comfortable! After hiking and exploring it was so nice to come back, cook dinner in the wonderfully stocked kitchen and be able to get a great nights sleep in the comfy beds! We really enjoyed our stay! Lodge Style Vacation Home

This is a beautiful, lodge style vacation home. Spacious yet cozy! Beds are super comfortable with one on main floor for those who cannot do stairs. 4 beds are Queen or larger! Had a wonderful stay!

A very nice house. We had an amazing time here. Coming from the Netherlands we enjoyed every moment. Kids loved to cycle and played tennis in the garden. The house is well equipped!

We came for SFF with 7 total people. Loved having a quiet place to regroup, make meals, visit with friends. Beds are comfy. We’ll stocked kitchen. Would rent again.

Relaxing

The house was clean and the beds were comfy! Loved the backyard we played badminton and brought a hammock! We sat on the front lawn with a blanket and saw the deer walk through the property! Plenty of towels and the washer and dryer was key! We would definitely stay here again !

Beautiful log home

This is the 2nd time our family has stayed here. We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations! The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The backyard is amazing. It is very private and peaceful. We played several games of croquet, rode bikes and did a lot of relaxing. We will definitely come back again!

Wonderful property!

Wonderful location. Only a couple miles from the town of sisters. We were able to enjoy the area and yet have a quiet retreat to go to at night. The house itself was wonderful. We have rented many properties over the years and this house was the most well stocked that we have stayed in. There were plenty of towels, linens, cook ware, dishes for even the largest family. The porch and grass area allowed us unlimited places to sit and relax.

Owned and operated by Bill and Joan, and Dave and Kathy Power, it is our family vacation home and we wish to share it with you!!

We've been blessed with great careers, good health, a wonderful family and many dear friends!!! Our motto is 'WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER'!

We asked ourselves, if we could invest in our future and the future of our children and their children, what might the best investment be??? The answer seemed perfectly clear to Dave (my husband) as we passed this wonderful cabin again and again!! “That's it!”, he'd exclaim, as we'd continue driving, searching for a lesser home. “That's it, that's the one!”
So, we finally pulled in and peeked around. As it turned out, it really was it!!!!

Dave and I reside in Salem, with our American Eski’s, near our adult children and grandchildren!

Dave operates Dave Power Automotive and Marine, while I enjoy helping home buyer’s and seller’s realize their real estate dreams!

Bill and Joan live in Sisters. They fell in love with Central Oregon first, having resided here back in the '60's After working as a teacher and scientist in the Salem area for over 30 years, they returned to beautiful Central Oregon to enjoy the sunshine and scenery!

I love waking up to deer, a blanket of snow on the ground or nonstop sunshine, and the wind whispering through the Ponderosa Pines.

Our home is situated on a half acre, in lovely Tollgate, a peaceful, family friendly villiage just a 5 minute drive to the heart of downtown Sisters!

Suttle Lake, fly fishing the Metolius, hiking to the head of Jack, Mt Washington, Mt Jefferson, Black Butte, Willamette National Forest, Hoodoo, Mt. Bachelor, Bend, Smith Rock, High Desert Museum, swimming, kayaking, boating, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, fishing, hiking, biking, golfing, high mountain lakes, exploring, spelunking, hot springs, streams, and delightful downtown Sisters were a few deciding factors in our selection of this wonderful slice of heaven on earth.
