Your visit begins with a welcome at the airport where your driver will greet you and your guests and assist you with your luggage into a comfortable, climate-controlled van, transporting you over 35-45 minutes to Villa Ardore in the Chianti Classico countryside.
Winding roads weave in and around vineyards, forests and olive groves, guiding you toward your private Tuscan escape. Villa Ardore is a richly appointed home built for ultimate relaxation with 8 bedroom suites, an expertly curated wine cellar, large infinity pool with illuminated poolside bar and private spa.

Whether your next vacation is slow travel to celebrate a life event or relax and spend time with family and friends or something more intentional like fashion week, Formula 1 or the Concorso d'Eleganza, Tuscanyâs many summer music festivals, the grape harvest âvendemmiaâ and fall wine festivals in Tuscany, Carnival or the Mille Miglia, you and your travel group will have an unforgettable experience, uniquely tailored to your own version of la dolce vita.

I grew up in Cleveland, in a very tight-knit Italian-American family--cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, in-laws--everyone always together, whether for a holiday or birthday, or just for Sunday supper. Over time, those gatherings became more difficult to organize and less frequent; my grandparents died, some family moved away. When I graduated from law school, I moved to California with a cousin.
My law career took off--I've been very fortunate to have great clients and some amazing colleagues--and life was good. I met my husband, Stephen, who grew up in an Italian neighborhood in Philadelphia and is himself part Sicilian. We began to build our life together. We both had our roles to play. I worked in the private sector which left little time for relaxing at home and Stephen worked as a government attorney, allowing him the time to make dinner every night, which he continues to do. Heâs an amazing cook and extraordinary baker. He doesnât just excel at Italian food, but his skill extends to Peruvian, Indian and French food as well. We raise rescues. Our current meatball is named Buster, a pitty-boxer mix full of love and goofiness. He is the neediest dog ever and we often joke that Stephen has become his emotional support human.
After visiting Italy with family, we fell in love with it. For the first time I could see where my childhood family togetherness - such a part of my early life - came from; it was the culture that my grandparents brought with them when they emigrated. The U.S. is my home, but my heart is in Italia, so much so that I obtained my Italian citizenship. Now, a have one foot (and part of my heart) in each country. Our friend circle grew with Italian additions, including our villa manager, Franci, who treats our guests like his friends and family, and by extension, ours. Villa Ardore is undoubtedly a luxurious and exclusive experience, but it is our relaxed luxury, Italian hospitality and authenticity that keeps people coming back.
