Wonderful secluded spot with lots of area for the kids to play outside. Inside is very nicely set up with all of the essentials provided. Hot tub was nice and the blackberry bushes were full and ripe! Hot water heater had plenty of capacity for showers running in both bathrooms for at least an hour which was a very pleasant surprise. Perfect spot for families with kids or larger groups.

Great location, beautiful property.

We came for the 4th of July. Enjoyed the property’s location - close to Friday Harbor but away from the crowds. Easy drive to Roche. Very safe. Accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids easily. Would certainly stay again!

Property was quiet and private. Kitchen was stocked beyond our expectations. We had some very hot days so the single, portable AC unit had difficulty keeping up, but nights were cool for sleeping. Comfortable beds.

Great place to stay, close to town but not right in it.

Our construction crew stayed at the house while working on a street project. They enjoyed the hot tub, board games and all the other stuff available. Plenty of hot water, towels and blankets! Enough room for everyone to have their own space.

A blissful slice of heaven!

This was truly the perfect vacation spot! Gorgeous fixtures and decor inside paired with the idyllic, countryside feel outside made for such a relaxing time. We saw a buck right when we arrived, and took our time out on the patio just enjoying the scenery. Lots of places to relax, including a very nice hot tub and fire pit for s'mores. It was pretty close to town, so we were able to look around and shop very easily. We recommend this getaway to anyone who might want some time relaxing in nature!

Quiet, spacious property with birds for neighbors

As an outdoor lover, I really enjoyed staying in this property that's at the end of a dirt road, wooded, and quiet. The house was clean, and as a foody, I must say, this was the best-stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rent. We wanted for nothing. I would have liked to know the jaccuzzi would need 3 days to heat up fully, and central heating would be great (since in winter the house is cold and room heaters or the gas fireplace heat the house), but the firepit and ameneties were fantastic. Would visit again with a big group.

Great seclusion with safety

Husband and I took 2 sons with their fanilies and sister in law. The kids and our 2 dogs were able to romp around freely without worry for their safety or about them bothering neighbors. Spa was a great touch for ending busy days of actvities. Had a couple of fires in the nice sized pit, and played some cornhole too. The inside of the house was well kept, well stocked kitchen including drip, french press, and keurig coffee makers. Nice stock of pans, baking tools and sharp knives. Great grill and outside dining set. Bedrooms clean and plenty of linens. Great place to stay for family gathering. Board games to play, and plenty of spaces inside and out for some alone time too. Highly recommend.

Hidden Gem

Spacious hidden gem in the middle of the island in Friday Harbor. House is cute, nicely remodeled and fit 6 adults and a toddler easily. The owner had some issues with the check in process, but once that was cleared up it was a great experience. Hot tub and campfire outside in the middle of the woods is exactly what we wanted!

Fantastic VRBO

This was a great space for our family gathering. Two separate floors with plenty of beds (including bunk beds for the kids). It was spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and always communicated in a timely manner. The location was also great as it was just a short drive to Friday Harbor and other attractions around the island. Highly recommend.

Working out the kinks of a new listing

This property has tons of promise, great location and personal touches in the decor. Well stocked kitchen, great yard for the dogs. The cleaners were there after check in time and let in bugs and some cleaning to be desired but the property owners were quite responsive to problems that arose.

Beautiful, peaceful location

We stayed at the house with some extended family while we were on the island for an event. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Would definitely recommend. Downstairs bedroom TV didn’t seem to be hooked up to anything but wasn’t a big deal—just FYI for the property manager. Really peaceful setting about a 10 minute drive from town. You will definitely need a car.

Great for families & groups

Lovely house about 3 miles from Friday Harbor. Six of us were on bicycles and had a car to carry our luggage. The house was very comfortable, the spacious kitchen worked well and the hot tub was a welcome feature after our rides. There were plenty of towels, blankets & pillows for everyone. The house sits at the end of the road so it is very private & quiet. We had to ride some gravel to the main road but is was hard packed which made it easy. The host was quick to respond to all our questions. I definitely recommend it!

San Juan Island in September

We were 3 women friends who had never visited the islands. We loved the house and the amenities provided. We found the kitchen had nice appliances and dishes. The beds were comfortable and the towels and linens were wonderful. Our only suggestion would be to have some kind of window coverings in the upstairs bedrooms. I know some people like it open. There are only deer outside the land around the house! We would recommend this house. You do need to have a car which we rented in Seattle. Thank you Lesley and Christy.
