We are a family of 4 with one crazy yellow lab. We live for the weekends whether we are taking the truck down the backroads to find a nice camping spot, hitting the pool because it's just too hot or taking the paddle boards and kayak to the lake. In the winter it is definitely about the snow - sledding and skiing.

The house is in a nice established neighborhood where the trees provide all the shade in the summer and a workout (raking) in the fall/winter. The yard is big and the deck is super nice to have a meal outside or lounge on the chairs. There are some nice walking paths scattered throughout the neighborhood, as well as, old school playgrounds. The Tea Garden is around the corner and has great Asian food plus the staff is really nice. The city pool is one long block down from the house and across the street. It's a pretty magical pool with two diving boards, water slide, water pad, wad in pool and concession stand. We are close enough to 127th and Mur-Len which makes it super convenient to get around town. It's, at the most, a five minute drive to get onto I-35. There are plenty of shops and restaurants at 119th and Black Bob including our favorite BBQ - Joe's. The public library is close. You have choices for the grocery store as well - The Hen House, Whole Foods or Hy-Vee.

Our house isn't to small and it isn't to big. I feel it is just right. It fits 2 with space or could fit up to 12. There is a nice long driveway and the house sits on a cul-de-sac. It's great if you have kids and want to bring bikes or scooters. The traffic thru the neighborhood is on the low side. It is one of the few houses that is a two-story with lots of windows and great light. There is a big picture window in the front to watch the kids or the squirrels, whichever is more entertaining. LOL. The kitchen is spacious and has an island. You can choose to eat inside or outside on the large deck. There are also two loungers on the deck. The downstairs is open and could be used for a play area for kids. Upstairs is the main bedroom and two additional bedrooms. The main bedroom has it's own bathroom and walk in closet. There is another full bathroom for the other two bedrooms. The house is a great place to relax and get away from life if you want to relax. It is also a great space to entertain inside and out. It has an updated interior with a very relaxing modern color scheme.
