Love this place!!!

This is my third time staying in this unit in Sea Colony and it’s a lovely spot to get away for a nice quiet beach vacation. I’ll be booking again for sure!!

Great Escape

We enjoyed our time at Sea Colony. This unit has been recently updated and is beautiful. Could use more seating in living area but this was not an issue for us as we spent very little time in unit.

Nicely updated

The house was beautifully updated. The bathroom & kitchen were exceptional! Location was great, just a short drive to beach, restaurants, and downtown Bethany. On the downside the living room Sofa was extremely uncomfortable and unfortunately, there was no other place to sit comfortably. The sofa was not the one pictured on the website. The bedroom was lacking a dresser with drawers to store clothing. It also would have been nice if the glass doors in living area had some type of window covering for privacy in the evening. And, unfortunately, there were no patio lights on the patio so it made it hard to use it after dark. One thing to note the coffee maker is a Drip Pot, not a pod coffee maker, so you may want to come prepared with ground coffee. Sea Colony required us to purchase badges so we could use their amenities. However, because it was late in the season alot of the pools were closed. We feel that purchasing the badges should be optional this time of the year. All in all we had a nice stay. I think just a few changes could make the stay a bit more comfortable.

Beautiful location

Great location within Sea Colony. Very cute cottage. Amenities are severely lacking however. No pillow cases for two of the pillows. The pillows themselves were like paper. Cheap toilet paper. Just overall wayyyy too many attempts to save a few bucks on managing the property. The room itself and the location were perfect though.

Sea Colony unit 1021A, Bethany Beach

First of all the unit was a total disappointment. There were no curtains/shade on the doors or bedroom windows for privacy. Maintenance came over after our complaint and nailed bed sheets on the sliding glass doors. There was no bedspread or decorative pillows on the bed as it was pictured on the website. Only a sheet ,blanket and 2 pillows. The sheets and blanket were both stained by god knows what!! Thank goodness we brought our own pillows! The couch that was pictured was a very nice blue. But the couch that was there was an L-shaped couch and extremely hard. Not comfortable at all! There were also 2 bikes on the patio. One was locked up but the other was not. Looked for a key to unlock it and was told by VACASA office that we could only use one bike. THERE WERE TWO OF US staying there. And on top of all that ....when we went to go get our packet with the parking ticket we were told to get the badges as well. That we weren't able to use the fitness room, tennis courts, pools or access to the beach without them. And we had to pay an extra $55.00 for each one. That was not on the website! That was a unexpected expense we had to pay! There was also a hornets nest that had to be removed. My husband is very allergic to bee, hornets. So very disappointed with the resort that we left 3 days early. We would appreciate a pro-rated refund for the 3 days. We will NEVER be back to Sea Colony! The owner needs to update pictures on the website. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!

Sea Colony and Vacasa were great

Sea Colony has Alot of amenities for couples and families that love tennis, pickle ball, swimming, and working out Also, loved that it is a private and secured area Definitely recommend

Great place to stay!

The place was very clean and the community is so cute and less than a 5 minute drive from the beach. Check-in was very easy, the space was perfect for the two of us to have a relaxing weekend getaway. We would definitely stay here again!
