This enchanting home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large, covered patio area, an outdoor bar, fire pit, and a newly re-tiled resurfaced pool.

Spent a great week at this property. Super clean, pool was fantastic, comfy beds, kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners. Check-in was a breeze, communication was easy and hassle free. Nice, quiet neighborhood, close to NRH2O and easy access to other attractions and dining options nearby. If you're looking in this area, this VRBO is a Win.

A great place to relax

We needed a getaway place and this gave us what we needed: a great pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, and peace and quiet. It's on a quiet street, and is an older home in a well established neighborhood. The trees offer great shade over the seating area and pool in the morning and evening. The property manager is very friendly and the home owner was easily reached when we had a question. We'd stay here again!

Week Stay

We got this property since our home in the area was under major renovations. It was a great stay in a quiet neighborhood with a gorgeous backyard. It was close to our daughters school so easy to get there in the mornings and afternoon. Great layout and super comfortable!

Summer Time in Dallas

Stayed a week with our Grandson, while his Opa worked in his Dallas office. Mornings were spent walking the neighborhood with our dogs; middays/afternoons were spent exploring Ripley’s, Sea Life Aquarium, a visit to The Movies; evenings were spent enjoying the pool. This was our second stay @ Mid-Cities Oasis. Love the house, pool, neighborhood & proximity to SO MANY fun activities.

Overall a good stay

It was overall a good stay. The backyard was amazing and did not disappoint! The house itself was great but it could’ve been cleaner. The floors made our feet black and the bathrooms had hair from previous guests and mold spots in the shower. With a better cleaning service I would definitely rate this a 5.

Quiet neighborhood

Needed a place to rest and relax. There is a place for everyone in this house. Nice big TV's in each bedroom. The back yard was great, we just wish it was warmer so we could have used the pool. Plenty of room in the backyard for the dogs to run and play.

Therapy

The owner was very helpful and curtious. We had problems with VRBO, canceling our reservations and they charged my card their part but didn't charge for the house. Instead, it canceled the reservation. The owner got everything straighten out and we really enjoyed our stay.

Do NOT stay here if you value your health!

I walk into this beautiful rental with two old college gal pals. The floor has buckled in the front living room. You start to smell nothing but funky mold. When you walk towards the kitchen the flooring is literally soft to walk on as has been wet. There’s been a water loss - who knows how long ago. The owner first said - happy to assist with the stay. CRICKETS!!! I’ve emailed three times now and nothing. Will certainly be sending my medical receipts from the check up I need after staying there. Looks are very deceiving.

Truly an Oasis in DFW

This home is located close to a lot of restaurants, shopping and minutes from FW, and it is a beautiful neighborhood. The home is clean, comfortable and has large gathering areas. The patio has large eating and entertaining spaces, the pool is set with nice shade trees throughout the day. Beautiful fire pit area for evenings. The property manager and the owner were available and responsive, we had zero issues during our stay. Highly recommend this location - and guarantee that we will be back for future weekends.

The pool was amazing. Plenty of room on the property. However, definitely better options - Do your research. Below are the areas that need significant improvement : 1. The floor is bowed really bad in multiple places. 2. The dishwasher rack is so worn out that it tries falling when loading. 3. The hand held can opener is broken. 4. There were no wash cloths available. 5. I had to wash towels to accommodate guests.There were no extras. 6. We were not able to use the grill. It was very dirty. 7. There were no cushions on the outside patio furniture near the fire pit. 8. Master shower has mildew. 9. The couch is broken and has white thumbtacks holding down the fabric. 10. The pool filter has not been emptied in weeks. It was over flowing. We emptied it. 11. The cups in the cabinet were dirty and had to be washed before use. 12. The beds were very firm. No extra pillows. 13. No dresser or closet in master. Clothes have to stay in luggage.

The property is a hidden gem in a beautifully established neighborhood with mature trees. The location is perfect for easy access throughout the DFW area; however, it is set back just far enough from busy roads to be quiet and peaceful.

Stepping onto the back patio through the double doors is truly spectacular! This is why we named it the Mid-Cities Oasis. The covered patio has a table & 6 chairs, a wicker lounge sofa and chairs, and a bar area with barstools and swings. The newly resurfaced pool was redone this year in Caribbean blue mini-pebble and is gorgeous! We have a grill for cooking out, several lounge chairs around the pool, and another table/umbrella with 4 chairs. The LED pool light softly changes colors, and the string lights hanging above offer the perfect ambiance to escape from the stress of day-to-day life.
