We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful property! It was immaculately clean when we arrived with the fireplace led lights on and music playing, which was a really nice touch. I don't think the pictures do it justice, and I really loved the design of the furniture, etc. Maxine was the perfect host, and responded to our questions quickly and gave great recommendations for the area. And the view was just amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely come back and stay again.

Wow! What a view!

I highly recommend staying above the trees! The view was spectacular! The large deck facing the mountains truly added to our amazing Sedona experience! The home is so comfortable. Great kitchen! Loved the location! Easy walk to restaurants and shopping!.

Wonderful stay in Sedona

We absolutely loved our one night in Sedona! We had been traveling all week as a family of four, spending one night in each destination as we traveled from Nevada, to Utah to Arizona. We spent our 6th night in Sedona in this beautiful and spacious property! After staying in hotel rooms prior to this stop, it was so nice to be able to spread out and have some amenities like at home. It was a comfortable and cozy spot and really close to everything we needed during our short stay!

Perfect Stay-Highly Recommend

We had an amazing stay! The house was in the perfect location for all the top hikes and had absolutely stunning views. Above the Clouds and Way Above Expectations!

We have just returned from our glorious two-night stay at Maxine's home - a memorable experience for my wife, her mother and me. The location is perfect - far enough away from downtown Sedona to experience the tranquility of the Red Rock area, but close enough to be within 5-10 minutes of all the shopping and restaurants that the Sedona area has to offer.One of the perks of renting new VRBOs like Maxine's home is that one can experience new architectural styles and home decor. It felt like we were the first ones to live in this home, so fresh, open and modern. (My wife is out now shopping for the upscale slate-black utensils that were there for our use!). The highlight of the Above the Trees home is the majestic view of the Marg's Draw rock formation in the distance from the spacious and comfortable second floor deck, magnificent in the daytime, and a starry extravaganza after the Sedona sun has set. Our communication with Maxine was seamless from start to finish. If you have a chance to book a stay at Maxine's home, get on it right now - you won't be disappointed!

Great House and Views in Sedona

Cool new house with everything we wanted. It’s not far off of the highway and pretty close to the center of town, but felt like we were almost isolated in the middle of the beautiful wilderness. We’re far enough out of downtown that didn’t have to deal with the thick crowds of tourists. The views from the porch and rooms are stunning.

A perfect place

This was a wonderful place to stay. We came in during a snow storm and awoke to spectacular views covered in white. The house was warm and welcoming with the fireplace on and gentle music playing. I would gladly stay here in the future. Thanks Maxine for being a great host.

Amazing home in Sedona

We stayed for a week in early March. The home was beautiful and immaculate. Even better in person. The views from the living area and bedroom is amazing. The home was warm and inviting and had all the amenities we needed. The location is great - the shuttle to go to the trailhead is just across the street and another trail head is walking distance from the house. Shopping areas and a Whole Foods market is very close by as well. Would highly recommend!

Just what we needed

We received information about our stay before our stay! Thank you Maxine! When we walked into this home and I say home because it is by no means a rental unit. It is new, beautiful decorated comfortable and mostly all electronic! We were blown away at how stunning it is and how stunning the view is. When entering the home, we were greeted with some soothing music playing and a little gas fire to create the best feeling of relaxation after a day of travel. Maxine even allowed us to check in earlier since the home was ready for us. There is a casita below, yet no one was there so we had to place to ourselves. Super quiet neighbors yet right off of 179. Maxine and spouse are great hosts! This home is located close to many areas for hiking and even within walking distance to some exceptional food and shopping. It is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Communication with Maxine was easy. We lost power late in the evening and she responded right away!. The following day she asked to have her hubby come by to reset the water fountain! Didn't even know he was there!. Don't hesitate to book this home for your next get it away--you will love it--The view is spectacular and the deck is perfect. We will definitely look to book again with this property in our next adventure to Sedona. Thank you! *****

What a wonderful house with the most gorgeous views! AND Maxine was a pleasure! We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our time in Sedona! I only wish we could have stayed longer. If you are planning a trip in this area do not hesitate to stay here!!

My husband and I spent a weekend in Sedona and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house is brand new and it's immaculate. We were amazed at the incredible views this home has. Wow! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon.

Perfect House in Sedona!

Immaculate, perfect, brand new, beautifully designed and decorated to perfectly match the area! The pictures don’t do it justice at all! The views day and night area incredible. The stars and planets are so visible. I can’t say enough good about this home. Everything was top of the line and SO clean and classy. I wanted to stay forever. This Hostess is the best. She is like having a travel agent of the area who answers your questions and guides you towards activities. So, you need to consider the value she adds and helps enhance your vacation when booking this amazing home. Loved the zero gravity chairs, all the countless local touches inside and outside the home that added to the hospitality. It was perfect, private and so comfortable. To say we loved it is an understatement. Planning on going back when we visit Sedona it’s so close to so many activities and restaurants. The town is designed to match the red rock area and so classy. This is one for your bucket list.

Sedona Vacation Review

I’m not ever sure where to start describing the incredible experience I received from Maxine! 1) Being my first time booking through VRBO, I was a little nervous. Maxine made things extremely easy for me by the constant communication, ensuring we had check-in information in adequate time and following up to ensure we had everything we needed that would make our stay amazing! 2) Maxine went WAY above and beyond to help me surprise my gf with a gift that was delivered a day before my check in. (Even sent video of placement suggestions, before and after pictures) 3) Since this was my first time in Sedona, Maxine provided a full list of recommendations for activities, restaurants and wineries. In closing, thank you Maxine for everything you did to ensure we had an amazing experience, not only in your home but all of Sedona. Maxine, giving you 5 stars is definitely not enough, more like 86,400 for every second spent in Sedona. Definitely returning very soon!

Quentesential Modern Sedona

Dwell magazine/Architectural Digest meets Sedona. This home is inviting and stylish and has the most remarkable views and beyond. Close to all Sedona attractions yet feels local wrapped in the serenity of nature. It amplified our Summer Solstice/Full Moon weekend. Hands down, it is one of the best places we have stayed in the West Coast/California areas. The host, Maxine, was wonderful & gracious. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

A Girls' Reunion in Sedona

This place is absolutely perfect! We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was beyond our expectations. Kathy and I opened the door first and walked in! Our response was, "This is just perfect!" On Monday morning, we all regretted that we had to leave. The floor plan allowed all of us personal privacy while open space for conversation. The deck was used as much as the inside and it includes comfortable seating with a place to put that evening glass of wine or morning coffee. The views are simply amazing!!! We even saw a lone coyote pass by!!! The decorating is so appealing, including upscale bathrooms! The appliances are above grade for most rentals!!! There was nothing we needed that had not been provided. Including those extra pillows!!! The host thought of everything someone would need to have a pleasant stay. The location could not be better. Close to prime sights, shopping, artist studios, and dining. The four of us had a wonderful reunion!!!

Magical Weekend Getaway

The photos don’t do this place justice. The actual home is immaculate and gorgeous, but the view is spectacular! The location is central to lots of good hiking and across the street from the shuttles. There are good restaurants and conveniences close by. Whole Foods is close by if you decide to stay in and enjoy the comfort of the home like we did. Maxine supplies all the amenities you need for cooking as well. Maxine js easy to work with and check in and out is simple. No long list of things to clean up! We will definitely stay again.

The house is gorgeous and the view stunning. Our party of 4 was very comfortable with our accommodations. Location is close to activities, yet quiet and private. Had visitors in the morning - two javelinas just passing through. Communication with Maxine was excellent. Highly recommend this host.

Brand new and stylish

Beautiful view in a spotless, brand new home. Nice touches include an electric fireplace, automatic window shades, and matte black everything (fridge, cabinets, even silverware!). The owner supplied great quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Beds were comfy. Great location. Very close to everything from restaurants to hiking trails.
