This delightful and secluded 3 Bedroom/2 full bath rustic log cabin offers a cozy, private retreat surrounded by nature. The stone wood-burning fireplace provides the perfect warmth while relaxing with friends and family. Fast Wifi allows you to do business or stream shows on the smart TV. Step outside to the backyard, and sit on the chairs or swing to enjoy the cool, crisp air at 3,800 feet. The covered porch is ideal for savoring morning coffee while listening to the sounds of the creek below. Although Ivy's Cabin is not quite a Ski n’ Ski out, it has extremely convenient access to Cataloochee Ski Area.
Fifteen minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway.
Twenty minutes to Waynesville.
Thirty minutes to Harrah’s Casino, Cherokee gambling
Less than five minutes to Maggie Valley.
Forty-five minutes to Asheville, NC, home of the Biltmore House
Day trips include Nantahala and Ocoee white water rafting, Grandfather Mountain, Lake Lure, Hot Springs, Biltmore House, and much more.

Queen's Farm Stables and Waynesville Recreation Center are also worth visiting.

Christmas with Mice!!!
The cabin was very unsanitary and unsafe for people to be staying in. There were mouse/rat droppings all over the cabin, from the bedding to the kitchen drawers and shelves. When I contact the owner, there was a late response to send a cleaner to the cabin but we had already cleaned the cabin to make it even possible to stay there a few hours. We could hear the mice in the walls in the loft and had to clean the cabin repeatedly during our stay, especially the kitchen. I asked them for a refund for the entire stay but was only offered to get the cleaning fee refunded. I was told that they are not going to give me a full refund because they said they were going to give me a different cabin to stay in, but this was not communicated at any time during the stay but after I already checked out. I will never stay at any properties that is managed by this management company.

Ivy’s Cabin is Awesome
Ivy’s Cabin is amazing. It is even better than the VRBO description. One little suggestion would better signage to get you to Ivy’s Cabin but after you are there once it’s not a big deal! Sitting relaxing on the porch after a day of exploring the beautiful mountains is the best part of the day!

We're coming back, for sure
We were in the area for a wedding at Cataloochee Ranch. This cabin was perfectly located. Also it was super clean, updated, comfortable, full of little touches, and really private. Perfect for two. Perfect for a family. Owners were so accommodating—which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend. We'll be back.
