Summary:
This downtown bungalow remodel is the perfect balance of modern amenities and historic charm. This duplex apartment has new floors, 2 queen beds in separate rooms, living room with futon, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, large yard and free parking. It is even located within walking distance of Kendall Yards, downtown Spokane and the Centennial Trail! There is plenty of local dining and retail to entertain you during your stay in Spokane, or relax inside. You choose how you'll enjoy Spokane!

The Space:
There is an Instant Pot, microwave and toaster, and we provide local Roast House coffee for use in the automatic drip machine. Dishes and silverware are for your use, as well as a mini fridge and dining table. As of 10/1/23, we've opened up the full kitchen to guests! (Photos coming.) The kitchen has dishes and silverware, coffee cups and drinking glasses, pans and utensils for cooking meals and some spices.

The living room, separated from one bedroom by a room divider and curtain for privacy, features a Roku TV so you can stream your favorite shows! The futon folds into a bed, to allow for up to 2 extra guests. You'll have your own private entrance, separate from the other apartment in the building. This used to be a single family home, but the owners converted it so that they could Airbnb part of it and share their little slice of Spokane with travelers! You may see a few locked doors, but these are our locked storage and supply areas. Your apartment is secure and no one will access your unit during your stay, unless there is a maintenance issue that you've communicated to us.

Our standard check in is 4pm, and check out is 10am. We try to accommodate requests for variation from those times, but please let us know as soon as possible if you require early check in and/or late checkout. There is a small fee for this service, which helps us pay for extra cleaners to get the turnovers done more quickly and allows us to make these accommodations.

Sorry, but we don't allow pets here.

Guest Access:
You'll have your own private entrance, which leads to the open dining room and living room. Large, picture windows allow for lots of natural light and views of the outside. The full bathroom, with shower, toilet, sink, and well-lit vanity, is off the living room, as is the kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and Instant Pot. During summer, we have a floor AC unit but this is a seasonal offering. Please inquire if you will require AC during your stay.

Other Things to Note:
While most reservations go through without a hitch, we understand that sometimes things happen. We want to offer our guests the best and most price-effective option for those incidents that we hope do not occur. We found that damage deposits can be costly, frustrating and we don't want to hold any of your hard-earned money 'just in case'.
For Airbnb reservations: We do not charge a damage deposit on site because Airbnb offers AirCover.
For non-Airbnb reservations: We charge a nightly fee for damage insurance in lieu of charging a damage deposit. This fee is nonrefundable and should be added to your reservation at checkout. If it is not, we will contact you to process payment for this charge. This fee pays for protection through a third-party company and covers property damage that may occur during your stay.

After booking confirmation, you have the option to purchase third-party travel insurance for up to 14 days prior to your stay. Please reach out via message if you're interested in travel insurance.

Airbnb does their own guest screening.
For non-Airbnb reservations, we use a quick and simple third party guest screening service. Please watch for this email and complete the appropriate steps. Message/call us if you encounter any problems or have questions about this service.
