The Place:
Immerse yourself in the enchanting lifestyle of tiny home living near majestic Lookout Mountain and Desoto Falls. Tikabee Timbers is the idyllic retreat nestled among the towering pines of Mentone Mountain Escape's Tiny Home Neighborhood with access to a dog park, walking trails and fire pit in the common areas within the community. It's conveniently located just 3 miles away from the vibrant downtown of Mentone, AL and 45 minutes from Chattanooga, TN. *A Signed Contract Is Required For Booking*

The Space:
Tikabee Timbers is a 398 sq ft. tiny home that sleeps 4-5 people comfortably. The main floor contains a master bedroom with one queen mattress. In the loft area upstairs you'll find two twin mattresses with ample space for moving around (please note this loft is not a walkable space it is about 3.5 ft. tall). The final bed is a convertible sofa bed that folds down. This property is equipped with a stackable washer and dryer as well as a fully stocked kitchen with a stove, microwave, pots and pans, cooking utensils, Keurig, etc. Great open concept living room allowing for everyone to spend time together and play late-night board games or watch a movie. There is also a dining room table to enjoy your meals. Please Note: This tiny home DOES NOT HAVE INTERNET SERVICE and cell service is spotty.

Flowing nearby is the East Fork of the Little River which leads to the gentle, beautiful Lake Lahusage. This beautiful and serene location provides you and your family the opportunity for a unique vacation with adventure, beautiful sight seeing, privacy, and a space to reconnect. Tikabee Timbers is perfect for nature lovers, hikers, or those that just want to unplug.

We strongly believe in making memories wherever you are. That is why we have provided local suggestions so you can enjoy the experience of fully immersing yourself into the local culture. We are here to help with any questions or suggestions as we aim to help you create memories that will last a lifetime!

Nice and cozy cabin in the woods
We enjoyed the stay at the cabin. The location was very nice. Everything was just as described. There were some missed trash in the cleaning, which was taken care of. We enjoyed sitting on the porch under the lights and being by the fire with our kids. The weather was perfect. We would stay again.

Perfect Family Weekend Getaway
These property owners have thought of everything! Light switches are labeled, there are flashlights everywhere, and there are extra blankets. It was so nice to have a small pantry of condiments and seasonings and firewood! We planned on playing some of the games, but several games were missing pieces - but they still kept our 6 year old busy and playing! We wanted to disconnect and this was the best place for that - no wifi or service!

Charming tiny home
We had a great time at this tiny home, it was perfect for our family of 3. The loft was great for my 8th years old daughter, she slept there and had a great time having her own area. There was plenty of space for us, there were tons of dvds and games to use, the kitchen was pretty well stocked up with species and utensils. There is a firepit in the front of the property with a lot of firewood to use. We went to the Desoto falls and little river waterfall, which were very nice. Overall, it is a great place to stay for a couple or small family.

Thanksgiving getaway
This is my family’s 3rd year traveling to the area for thanksgiving. We stayed in this tiny home cabin and loved it! It was very clean and cozy. My kids loved the loft and that they both had their own bed. My daughter especially loved the turtle lamp 💜 There were plenty of board games and card games provided that we enjoyed. We definitely recommend!
