Tervetuloa Edelweiss Lodge: iin!

Tämä VIHREÄ -sertifioitu vuoristotalo, joka on suunniteltu ja valmistettu toukokuussa 2011, sijaitsee 5. 5 mailin päässä Main Street Blowing Rockista, tarjoaa lopullisen rentouttavan pääsyn. Minuutin päässä keskustasta Blowing Rock ja Blueridge Parkway (2. 2 km: n päässä Hwy 321: stä), ylellinen retriittimme tarjoaa viileän kesän puiden keskuudessa, häikäisevissä syksyn väreissä ja valkoisella huovalla talvella, puron alla.

Edelweiss Lodge on suunniteltu ammattimaisesti ja sisustettu tyylikkäästi, ja siinä on paljon viehätysvoimaa vuoristalökki-tyylissä kuivapinoisista kivi- ja kuoren seinistä sisätiloihin tarkoitettuihin puusepäntekoihin ja paikallisen käsityöläisen maalaismaisiin huonekaluihin.

Edelweiss Lodge -palveluihin kuuluvat räätälöity keittiö graniittipeitteineen, kivitakka holvattu kattohuoneessa, viihtyisä parvi, pääkerroksen päällikkö BR, jossa muhkeat king-vuoteet, liuskekivi- ja graniittimestari BR, jossa poreallas ja mukautetut kalusteet. toinen ylellinen BR king-vuoteella. Great spring break getaway

Had a great time staying here with two families and 5 kids amongst us. Could have had a third family. 3 king bed rooms and 2 bunk bed areas. Very close to ASM and Sugar Mt. everything you need to cook in. Will be back!

Fanstasic home for our group

We celebrated Thanksgiving and had a great time. Well equipped kitchen with high quality tools. Wonderful beds. Definitely need a 4WD vehicle to get to the house and would recommend arriving in thr daylight to navigate the last 2 miles. Host was fantastic, very responsive and accomodating.

Nice rental for a family trip

We enjoyed our stay at the house. We had 9 people with plenty of beds left over. Would have liked more seating in the main living room so we could hang out together but we made it work. Nice place overall.

Wedding Weekend

We had a great time and the place was beautiful. The owner was so helpful with anything we needed. The only thing I wish I had know was the location of the house. It is way up in the mountain and not easy to get to in a regular car. Actually... a little scary driving at night.

Family vacation.

House was great!! 3 levels with king beds on all 3 plus numerous single beds for the kids was perfect for us. Roads up to the house were your typical mountain roads but driveway up to house was difficult with a narrow access. We had plans to cook, eat in, and play games so was a geeat vacation for us.

Quiet mountain retreat

Spacious house up a curvy mountain road. Great dining table with plenty of room for games & meals. Need to update furniture in main living area. A sectional would be nice in the space. Very quiet & roomy!

Comfy cozy getaway!

We stayed here with a couple families and children over the New Years weekend and had a grand time! The property was very clean and extremely comfortable for sleeping arrangements for our group. The kids loved the bunk area downstairs and exploring/playing in the surrounding woods! The property managers, Arion and Wendy, were very responsive with any questions we had. Looking forward to visiting again!

Great Family Time

Outstanding property!! Exactly as described.

We recently stayed at this property for a family reunion of 12 and had a wonderful time. The cabin is perfect and exactly as described. Updated amenities, nice porch access, everything in good working order and fast response/easy communication with the owners ahead of time. Highly recommended!!

Mountain Getaway

Edelweiss rental property was probably the nicest rental we’ve ever experienced. The house and location were fantastic. Communication with the owner could not have been easier. The entire family was happy with the accommodations. I would highly recommend it.

Family Mountain getaway

Great house tucked away in the mountains. Roads to get there are curvy but not too steep . Ample room for all . Kitchen was well stocked for me to cook for 11 people for three days. Hosts were easy to reach. Wifi worked well for all my college kids needs. Never figured out the bedroom TVs but didn't need them because we were tired from all the mountain air. Very comfortable and cozy. They do charge an extra person fee for any number over 8. We didn't even use all the beds but paid for extra person fees. Just FYI. But the house and location were lovely, private and comfortable.

Relaxing

Property is nestled in the mountains of western NC. Beautiful setting in forest .. fall colors were just awesome to view and porch was relaxing. Loved listening to the creek in the distance.

2nd time just as good as the 1st

We returned here this fall, stayed last fall as well. It's about an equal drive for family from Raleigh and family from Columbia, room for everyone. We were able to execute an early Thanksgiving dinner for 11 on site, can't do that with most vacation rentals in our experience.

ASU graduation-family vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week in the mountains. We were there for our granddaughters graduation but took a full week to enjoy the area. This is a great location for shopping, restaurants, and hiking. The house is perfect for families to gather. The layout works well for both interaction as well as privacy. We would rent this by house again and hope that others families enjoy it as much as we did!

An awesome getaway

The property was everything described and more. It was tastefully decorated for Christmas. We did more cooking than normal because of the holiday, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. The main living area is so warm and open, perfect for gathering. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!

Late Summer Mountain Getaway

Our family enjoyed our long weekend at the Edelweiss retreat. You are 15 minutes away from downtown Blowing Rock. Breakfast on the porch was so peaceful after a good nights sleep in the cozy beds. Hiking and other attractions are a short drive away. The home is up windy roads so we planned early dinners if eating in town so travel back was in daylight. Overall a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful getaway!

Me & some friends from around the country met up for a secluded long weekend in nature. The house was beautiful & the layout was ideal for us. The location is amazing! We only ran into issues getting here because the VRBO app wasn’t letting me open the hosts directions & the address listed took us to what looked like an old driveway. The host was very responsive & patient with us in helping us find our way. When we arrived it was well worth it!

Fun weekend on President’s Day Weekend

The property was exactly as described. The owner checked in several times through the app. We found a different way into town versus how we came in which made a world of difference. There was plenty of room for us to be separate or together during our time in the cabin. The weather was extremely good so no problems getting up the hill or on the road around the cabin.

Great cabin stay

My family does an annual trip for New Years and we decided on the mountains for this trip. This cabin is amazing and the amenities are great. Although the weather was bad while we were there, we still managed to have fun. We spent two days in Downtown Blowing Rock which is a quick 15 minute drive. When we weren’t in town, we played games and sat on the deck. There were 6 of us and this cabin felt like a mansion. There is plenty of space for everyone and you still have your privacy. I would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Fall Family Trip

Great location. We would have preferred more of a view from the deck, but it was still beautiful. Drive on the Blueridge Parkway was absolutely stunning! We would classify this cabin as a nice cabin, but do not agree that it is a luxurious cabin. It is well stayed in and could use some basic updates (lots of stains on the carpet in upstairs bedrooms). Didn’t care for all the “rules” (limit two bags of trash, for example). Our visit was nice and enjoyable-just don’t depend on the TVs working.

It is a very steep drive up to the house, which is fine without weather. I booked the stay, but my wife has the VRBO account, and did not have her password during the visit, so we could not respond to your inquiries. I didn't have much electronic, which is kinda the point of going there anyway. It's a great place, and we love BR.

Charming and classy cabin

We enjoyed staying at the cabin. I liked the fact that there were 3 very nice bedrooms almost as nice as the master. It was decorated so tastefully with lots of nice touches. There was plenty of space to spread out. Unfortunately it was too cold to sit out on the deck. We will have to come in the summer sometime. It was close enough to Blowing Rock to go into for dinner and/or shopping, but out enough to feel like you are really in the mountains. It was very cozy. The wi-fi was not great, but it wasn’t a problem. I would recommend a car like a SUV for the gravel road going up to the cabin.
