Deer Hollow Retreat is a charming cabin in a private wooded setting yet conveniently located to many of the High Country's popular attractions. Willow Valley Golf Course is just two minutes away, and the Valle Crucis community is less than ten minutes down the road where you will find the historic Mast General Store and the water front Valle Crucis Community Park. Downtown Boone, home to Appalachian State University, is fifteen minutes away, and boasts local dining, shopping, and breweries. Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Boone Golf Course, High Gravity Adventures Aerial Park, Grandfather Winery, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and many more High Country adventures are all within a brief 20-minute drive.

Enter into the main floor living area and find a classic log home with convenience and craftsmanship all throughout. The warm wood interior boasts soaring vaulted ceilings, wood floors and a stacked stone gas log fireplace. Granite and stainless appliances adorn the quaint kitchen and dining area with access to the deck beyond complete with a gas grill. An outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs, spacious deck with seating, and a second living room with a bumper pool table, foosball, and a big screen TV make Deer Hollow Retreat flexible and functional. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub and take in the sights and sounds of a tranquil valley setting with rolling mountains. In the evening, after the golfers depart, you can take a stroll along the golf course paths, and in winter, a great sledding hill is is nearby!

The master bedroom is upstairs with a king bed, reading nook, and ensuite bathroom with a jetted soaking tub. The loft provides a sleeping area with two twin beds. There are two queen bedrooms on the main level sharing a full hallway bathroom, with an additional full bathroom in the lower level family game room.

Smart TVs can be found in both living rooms and all three bedrooms for guests to log into personal streaming accounts for entertainment. Deer Hollow Retreat includes high speed WIFI, central heating and air conditioning and a washer and dryer. Pets are not allowed at Deer Hollow Retreat, thank you for not bringing pets to this cabin. Guests traveling in winter should plan to be prepared to traverse unpredictable winter weather by having AWD or 4WD vehicles and carrying tire chains for icy conditions.
