The Space:
Surrounded by trees in a tranquil setting, this charming 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home offers a quintessential mountain retreat in Tahoe. The home boasts vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, stylish decor, and large windows filling the rooms with natural light and views overlooking the surrounding trees. Your group will enjoy returning to the home after a busy day of adventures where you will find a spacious main living area for socializing, cozy bedrooms, and a private outdoor space that includes a deck and a backyard.

When you enter the home you will be welcomed by the open and social main living space. Your group will love relaxing and socializing in this space! In the living room, you will find a well-decorated space with a plush sectional couch, a comfortable recliner, a wooden coffee table, a large rug, and several lamps creating a homey ambiance. In the winter months curl up on one of the seating options while you warm up by the fire, or enjoy watching a favorite show or movie on the 55” smart TV. From the living room, you can step outside to the large deck where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air. A large outdoor dining table is situated on the deck, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco or late-night chats under the stars. With trees surrounding you from all directions stepping out onto the deck will make you feel as if you are tucked away from it all!

Back inside you will find the dining area adjacent to the living room. The dining area is outfitted with a large wood table with seating for 6 on top of an oversized rug. The table is situated next to the sliding glass patio doors so you can enjoy the tree views while you have dinner or work on a puzzle. On the other side of the dining table, you will find the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a great meal with your friends and family. The kitchen features a full range of appliances, roomy countertops, and ample cabinet space to store your goodies. Off the kitchen, you will find a laundry/mud room with a full-size washer and dryer, as well as a half-bathroom.

When you are ready to tuck in for the night head to one of the home’s four cozy bedrooms. The first bedroom is located off the main living space and is a bright and inviting room with a comfortable queen-size bed, matching nightstands with lamps, and a dresser. Conveniently located next to the bedroom is a shared full bathroom. The main floor bathroom features a single-sink vanity and a shower with a sliding glass door.

Three additional bedrooms are located upstairs and are thoughtfully designed rooms offering a unique blend of functionality and style. Two of the upstairs bedrooms are outfitted with queen-size beds, matching nightstands with bedside lamps, stylish wood and wicker dressers, and views over the surrounding trees. These bedrooms are located next to each other and are across the hallway from the upstairs shared bathroom. The fourth bedroom is set up as a bunk room with a twin-over-queen bunk bed and a dresser for storing your personal items. The bedroom includes a mounted 32” Fire TV great for watching late-night movies from the comfort of your bed. Rounding out the upstairs is the shared bathroom with a single-sink vanity with under-the-sink storage space, a mounted cabinet above the toilet for additional storage room, and a bathtub/shower combo.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, and four parking places in the driveway in front of the home.

The Neighborhood:
Whether you are in Tahoe for the beaches or the ski resorts this home places you near it all! Conveniently located between the town of Kings Beach and Northstar Ski Resort, you are in the best location for year-round fun. In the winter months, you are just 7 minutes away from the slopes at Northstar Resort where you will find great ski terrain for all ability levels. Northstar is a great family-friendly option as well with an ice skating rink and movie theater to keep everyone in your group busy and entertained. In the summer months, Northstar becomes a hiker's paradise with tons of trails for all levels to explore, and a world-class mountain biking facility. For more hiking options you are also only a 4-minute drive to one of the trailheads for the famous Tahoe Rim Trail which offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe. On those days you are after a little more relaxation, you are only 3 short minutes from the town of Kings Beach where you can find white sand beaches with every watercraft rental imaginable, supermarkets, boutique shopping, spas, yoga, and a wide variety of restaurants. Be sure to check the Kings Beach community calendar during your stay for the free summer outdoor concert series and farmer’s market schedule. If you are looking for concert venues and casinos you are only 5 minutes from the Nevada state line where you can find a few different casinos. This peaceful getaway truly is near all the best Tahoe has to offer, there is something close by for everybody in your group!

Getting Around:
The home is within a 10-minute walk to the nearest public transportation stop located at Hwy 267 and Lincoln Green, which runs every hour. Or make the short drive down to King's Beach where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With both HWY 28 and 267 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City. Northstar California Resort is just an 7-minute drive away on HWY 267, on which you can continue to the historic mountain town of Truckee, or stop for a hike at Brockway Summit, one of the trailheads for the famous Tahoe Rim Trail which offers stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Or, take a day trip into Nevada, the state line is 7-minutes away, and the town of Reno is an hour's drive from the home. Head south and be at the popular Olympic Valley within 30 minutes where you can enjoy the slopes at Palisades Tahoe ski resort. You will find Tahoe City with a less than 20-minute drive down HWY 28

Other Things to Note:
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

House Rules:

• Pets are not allowed
• No parties or events
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.
• Booking Fee: We charge an additional, non-refundable fee of 2% of the total payment to cover the cost of booking processing.
• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
