Welcome to Fine Feather House! First time ever as a rental, this spectacular Saugatuck home is just steps from the restaurants and shops of downtown! Located on the HILL and recently remodeled with designer updates this charming farmhouse is ready for entertaining friends and family. The first floor open floor plan includes a spacious kitchen with granite countertops, high-end stainless appliances, wet bar with wine fridge, and more. Large first floor Primary Bedroom has private bath with his/her sinks. Upstairs features 2 rooms, with a full bath – perfect for a family of 4. The 4th guest room is featured on the main floor has a desk and plenty of closet space. Enjoy the tranquil gardens while grilling outside on the deck just off the kitchen and dining room. Relax on the spacious front porch overlooking a storybook church - its the perfect location for a morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine. Beautiful gardens to enjoy with a massive side yard and fenced back yard. Feeling active? Downtown bustling with shops, restaurants and bars is steps away. You are a 4 min walk to Uncommon Grounds for your morning coffee! Pennyroyal Cafe is less than a 5 min drive. Walk to one of the top ten beaches in the US - Oval Beach via the historic Chain Ferry. If you prefer to drive it’s a short 5-7 min trip. Off street parking is tough downtown but we have you covered - there are 4 spaces available for you and your guests. Life is Good at Fine Feather House we cannot wait for you to experience everything Saugatuck living has to offer.

Fantastic Stay at Fine Feather
Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful stay at Fine Feather. Located on a quiet street just a few short blocks up on “the Hill” from downtown Saugatuck, we adored the historic charm and modern amenities of this stylish 1870’s farmhouse. We were able to check-in a few hours early, and the hosts left a small gift for us upon arrival (very kind!). The garden is lush and well-manicured. The covered front porch and side deck offered comfortable outdoor space for us to enjoy “Pure Michigan.” The kitchen is huge and well-appointed. The bathrooms are all updated with boutique touches (and there are 3!). Cozy linens, comfortable beds, and upscale soaps made us feel we were staying in a resort. The owners did not skimp on anything. We did not have to rush out to buy extra paper products, trash bags, nor detergent, which we appreciated greatly. Our kids enjoyed playing in the yard and we all borrowed bicycles from the garage. We cruised into town several times for coffee, ice cream, and dinner. Thank you for a relaxing vacation. We will be back!

Welcome to the Fine Feather House. This is our amazing vacation home. We live full time in Chicago and get up to Saugatuck every chance we can get. We absolutely love the town and the community and are so happy to be part of it. I grew up in Florida but fully believe Oval Beach is the best in the country. Nothing is as charming as downtown Saugatuck with amazing options for food, shopping and art. Please enjoy your stay at our home and feel free to use the beach toys/bikes in the garage :)

Fun Fact: Fine feather means in good health and spirits. Fine Feather was used for our families sailboats for decades many that won important races including Race to Mackinac.

Saugatuck is the best of everything. Small town charm, very walkable, close to the water and beach, friendly neighbors and gorgeous homes. Very welcoming to everyone and a strong art and culture vibe. We live on the HILL and within walking distance to everything. You cannot beat the location.

We have a gorgeous renovated 1900's farmhouse that is surround by beautiful gardens and mature trees on property. Its spacious and perfect for entertaining on the large front porch, side deck and back/side yards. Best of all its steps from the most charming town in the country - shops, bars, restaurants, galleries, marinas and more. Across the street is a historic church that makes for magical views.
