When you're not admiring the views from the hillside fire pit, get a fire going in the indoor fireplace or get competitive in the game room. For a bit more adventure, take your pick from a zipline tour with Red River Gorge Zipline, a scenic hike through Natural Bridge State Park, or a day packed with thrills at Thrillsville Adventure Park. If you are a rock climber The Pendergrass-Murray Recreation Resort is for you. The property also offers a catch and release fishing lake with floating dock, with a path/steps to the dock from the cabin. Convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, firewood, and plenty of hiking and activities

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this gorgeous cabin. Plenty of space in this three story masterpiece, with two wrap-around porches and a game room. Close to many fine restaurants and activities. Red River Gorge, Nada Tunnel Drive, Under Gorge, and Skylift are just a few things very close to the cabin. We even had deer visitors on the property, which also has a private dock on a small pond. Located in a very quiet neighborhood. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this property.

Great Family Cabin

Great cabin! Well stocked and private. Plenty of towels and amenities. (Which is important when the whole family is there!) We could spread out and all enjoy our own thing but then there was plenty of space at the huge kitchen table to come back together for meals or board games. Host was excellent at accommodating our last minute requests!

This was by far the best VRBO property I have stayed in. It was very clean, and well appointed. The floor plan offered generous group areas but also very private sleeping areas. Kitchen was well equipped and even has an appliance closet. The porch, firepit area and small dock add to the enjoyment.

Great getaway for a family or a two

We had a great time staying here with our family and another. Home was just as listed and provides very well with multiple living areas. Beautiful setting on a small lake with price dock. Would highly recommend.

Great Family Week

Our family had a fantastic week. My wife, son, 3 daughters & I all enjoyed this property. Close proximity to the Natural Land Bridge and many other hikes in Red River Gorge. While at the cabin we had plenty of space to enjoy all there was to offer. Hot tub, pool table, video game, etc. We enjoyed the fire pit, wrap around porch & walking down to the private fishing dock. We will definitely look to rebook this cabin when we return to the area.

A Great Cabin

The cabin had everything that you would need for a stay. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots and pans plus cooking utensils. The cabin was very clean, and bathrooms stocked with hand soap and towels.

The Gorge

I would have to say that this was one of the most satisfying cabin stays I’ve yet to experience! Great for rainy days, adventuring the national area, and a wonderful base for any functions or reunions being held at the lodge! Would definitely return!

Fabulous Cabin!

This is one of the best cabins we have stayed at! New, clean, comfortable and really nice furnishings! Absolutely loved hanging on the deck with great views and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing! Great weekend getaway for four couples!

Great location

3 generations of our family stayed at this property. It was clean, comfortable, and there was plenty of space to spread out.The pond is peaceful. It was in close proximity to hiking at both red river gorge and natural bridge state park. The owner was wonderful to work with.

Home away from home

This cabin was great! Very spacious and well stocked. Plenty of supplies for cooking, but also a great location that is close to restaurants. Decorated super cute! It was perfect for three adult couples. We each had our own floor with a bedroom and bathroom. It is close to hiking. The directions provided by the host were very helpful and accurate.

Amazing Getaway!

This home is amazing! We had 4 adults and 4 teens and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone and the game room was perfect for the kids! we played pool, chess, checkers and the arcade game. The kitchen had everything needed to cook big dinners and breakfast. If you are looking for a comfortable tranquil retreat, we would highly recommend this property!

Wood N You Love It

We loved it! Brand new property-you can still smell the wood! High end amenities and finishes, super clean, great location for a family weekend trip. Pond access/path to the dock will be perfect when completed. Hopefully the fish will be bigger when we return. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend trip to the RRG/Natural Bridge area.

Wonderful family weekend

Can’t say enough good things about this house. Location is close to many activities and hiking trails. We would leave for excursions in the mornings and wrap up our evenings with dinner in the house. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes. Large kitchen table and great table outside on deck. All family members slept well in comfortable beds made with comfy sheets and blankets. Plenty of bathrooms. Great family room for relaxing. Might I add a great porch swing too. Lots of memories made this weekend. Highly recommend this house. Easy communication with owners.

Fall Getaway

We enjoyed this new construction cabin for a fall getaway. Plenty of local things to do, short drive away. Cabin had room to be together or spread out both outdoor and indoor. We roasted marshmallows, relaxed in the hot tub, hung out on the porches and made great memories. We had deer visit each evening. Would highly recommend! The path to the pond and dock is still under construction and was not accessible for our stay. I assume it will be done soon and will be another cool perk to this rental!

A fabulous house!

We had the privilege of being the first family to rent this beautiful house! A lot of classy details went into making this house beautiful and your stay pleasant. They teach you neat things about the Gorge by the art work on the walls. The home has a binder with WiFi password and additional information about activities, restaurants, wildlife seen at the Gorge. The beds are very comfortable. We really enjoyed the covered decks rain or shine. You can eat indoors or out on the deck. The pool table & arcade game provided great entertainment. The third floor has the master bedroom and bathroom. The main floor of the house has one queen bedroom and bath. The basement has the bunk bedroom & the other queen bedroom and third bath. The firepit was awesome! Lots of sticks on the lot to make a fire for s’mores. The fire burns quicker that way and you don’t have to stay a really long time until the fire goes out. The kitchen is really nice and stocked with lots of storage containers, utensils & knives. You should bring a cascade pod if you will want to run the dishwasher more than twice (the house provides two dishwasher pods). There is a zipline company near the house. They have 5 ziplines. We were able to see our kids at the start or finish of each of the five ziplines because of renting this house. You are in walking distance to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th zipline from the house. You will be very impressed if you rent this house!

Cliffview Resort is one of the best locations and settings we found. Close to everything. We love the wildlife and being on the lake. We went to great lengths to shape the lot, firepit area, and steps to the lake into the hillside. There are great wedding/ reunion venues also within the resort. Great for families
