We believe vacation and time away from normal life is when some of the longest lasting memories are made. With that in mind, this home was tastefully renovated to create a space worthy of those memories. Here are some highlights:
- Year-round relaxing in Heated Saltwater Pool & Spa - Saltwater is gentler on skin and eyes (winter-time pool/spa heating is optional and does come with an extra fee to help cover the cost of gas. Details included below)
- Cozy up to outdoor fire feature
- Fully stocked kitchen including an outdoor BBQ grill
- Game room w/ pool table, foosball table, darts, & big screen tv
- Outdoor dining area & bar to enjoy the amazing weather
- Outdoor TV to watch the big game or movie while soaking in the spa
- Easy access to 2 major freeways
- Artfully & uniquely decorated
- Digital controllers for both showers
Access: Home is equipped with a smart lock and Smart Garage Door. You will be provided your own codes to use which for your safety will only provide access during the times of your stay.
Pool/Spa: Bring your swimsuits for the HEATED saltwater pool! Saltwater pools maintain a lower chemical level that is gentler on skin, hair, and eyes compared with traditional chlorine pools.
Pool/Spa Heating & Fee: To accommodate preference and budgets, we offer options when it comes to Pool and Spa Heating. The fees vary by month and desired temperature. We make every attempt to be flexible and accommodate changes in desired temperatures based on things like abnormal weather during the stay, but keep in mind it does take time to change the temperature of a pool. Here are the heating options we offer:
S (Spa Only) - Spa set to 101° F / Pool not heated
A - Spa set to 101° F / Pool set to 90°
B - Spa set to 101° F / Pool set to 85°
C - Spa set to 101° F / Pool set to 80°
L (Luxury)- Spa set to 101° F / Pool set to 95°

TV + Streaming: There are 2 large indoor TVs and a 60" outdoor TV for your use. All are equipped with Apple TV for simplicity of use. While no cable service is provided, the home comes with a logged in subscription to YouTube TV to ensure all major television channels are accessible. This provides most everything cable would plus extras! You may also log in for any of your personal streaming apps.
Pool Safety: All doors leading to the back yard are self-closing and have raised handles to open. Additionally, emergency pool safety equipment is provided. Please follow pool rules for your safety.
Backyard Fire Pit: Enjoy the ambiance and warmth of the 2 gas fire features.
BBQ grill: Propane BBQ grill is ready for your grilling pleasure but is fed from main tank to ensure plenty of fuel.
Mattresses: All Mattresses are of high-quality memory foam. They tend toward the firm side to provide the support needed by some guests and comfort for all. Each mattress is protected with a hypoallergenic mattress cover for your health and safety.
Pillows: Each sleeping position is equipped with 2 pillows (1 thick/full; 1 thin) for your choice. All sleeping pillows are covered with hypoallergenic pillow protectors for your health and safety.
Towels: Plenty of towels will be provided for your stay. These include bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, kitchen rags, dish rags, and pool towels. Lack of towels will not be an issue.
Water Softening/Conditioning: Phoenix is known for having hard water. This home is equipped with a full home water softener and conditioner which you will certainly enjoy. It aids in the effectiveness of soaps and detergents as well as avoids a mineral build-up feeling on skin and hair after showering.
Toiletries: Includes body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, and makeup removing towelettes
Hairdryers: 2 professional-grade hairdryers are provided
Kitchen Items: Oven, Range, Full-sized refrigerator/freezer with water dispenser, Dishwasher, Microwave, K-cup + standard coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender. Well-equipped with cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc.
Laundering: Washing Machine and Dryer for your use with detergent provided.

My name is Derek and it is my pleasure to get to host for your stay in Phoenix! I am a Phoenix native and am very familiar with all that the Valley of the Sun has to offer. Besides hosting short term rentals, my full-time job is with the golf brand PING where I have worked since 2010. During my tenure I have worked as an Engineer responsible for development of new golf clubs as well as a leader of some large business projects including a WMS and a global ERP implementation. Additionally, I was fortunate enough to lead new product development based in Asia for almost 4 years during which time I spent over 150 nights per year in various hotels. It was during this time where I took note of the most important elements of comfortable accommodations which I use now as a vacation rental host.
I have a wonderful wife, a young daughter, and at the time of writing this, a son on the way. We are the home owners and hosts and being a young family ourselves, we absolutely love getting to host for other families.
While we handle most elements of the booking, we also have a tremendous cleaning crew we partner with who have been serving us for a few years already. They are true professionals so rest assured your stay is in good hands.

This neighborhood is a quiet and safe neighborhood that is also conveniently located near 2 major valley freeways. I have personally met many of the neighbors and they are wonderful people who are very supportive of our vacation rental so you are sure to feel welcome to the area. The other main draw to the area for us is VALUE. It is not the fanciest neighborhood and this home stands apart, but that allows us to keep our prices such that guests get the most bang for the buck.

The state seal of Arizona pays tribute the the "5 C's of Arizona." These are cattle, cotton, climate, citrus, and copper. Since the early 1900's, Arizona has been the leading state in terms of copper production. Currently, almost 70% of the copper produced in the US comes from Arizona.
We have incorporated copper into many elements throughout the home in a tasteful manner. The garage door is laminated in copper. The bathrooms have copper touches with exposed copper pipes. In the living room, we have a large sliding door which is a focal point and what we refer to as "functional art". This door was hand crafted by my wife and I. It consists of nearly 100 copper laminated panels which were individually patinaed in a chamber to accelerate the beautiful blue/green color that copper is known for as it ages in the presence of salt. It is truly one of a kind and we are thrilled to share it with you.
In the hall bath, you'll find what we call the "bike bathroom" which pays homage to another of the 5 C's, climate. Bicycling is popular in Phoenix as people love enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.
Finally, the backyard is where this property shines. We want our guest to enjoy the beautiful weather so we have created a mini oasis. While the typical cinder block walls used to boarder Phoenix homes provides great privacy, they can be unsightly. This was solved by covering with hand rusted steel and cedar wood frames. This was another element that I personally created and installed to give the backyard a one of a kind feel.
