Aikuinen maisemointi palmu, pitkospuita, varustetuista kalastus lampia, tenniskenttiä, ja 2 ulkouima-allasta ovat vakuuttavat olet tehnyt parhaan valinnan niemelle. Mutta se on vasta alkua! Kävele muutama sata metriä ja ylittää yli upea 20 "korkea hiekkadyynien sokerinen valkoinen hiekkaranta mennyt Meksikonlahdella.

Yksi vilkaisu ja tiedät miksi "Dr. Ranta julisti Amerikan # 1 ranta. Ensi silmäyksellä, hämmästynyt upea tyyneys, sitten etsiä delfiinejä hyppää surffailla, ja tulevat uudelleen ja uudelleen upea auringonlaskuja mineraalivettä.

Wonderful stay

Our family stayed for 10 nights at this condo and everything was wonderful. The home was very clean upon arrival and had easy access around the condo complex. Our family enjoyed everything!

Great beach getaway

Weekend getaway

An amazingly clean and extremely comfortable stay! I’m 6 months pregnant and slept like a baby in this comfy home. The provided chairs and beach umbrellas were very convenient and helpful! I cannot wait to come back and stay!

Peace and Tranquility!!

Cape San Blas was so peaceful and this rental was the perfect location on the island. It sits just minutes from the State Park with uncrowded beaches and such a laid back vibe. The Condo was clean, nice, and had everything we needed. If you want peace, quiet, and a great place to relax this condo is it!

Long Weekend in the Sand

We had a wonderful weekend staying in this property. The location was great for us, close to the beach and even closer to 2 different pools. We loved the little ponds and all the wildlife we observed. This section of beach is unbeatable. We traveled with two young kids and their grandmother and I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a low key sandy vacation with family. It was just as advertised!

Good condo in wonderful pet friendly location.

The condo was as advertised and check in was easy. Cape San Blas was wonderful. Quiet and beautiful pet friendly beaches. The condo has easy access. It was clean and inviting. The upstairs however stays hot and was 75 degrees for our entire stay....With the blinds never being opened. We could not locate the outside trash cans but other than that an enjoyable stay. We would book it again!

Overpriced and underwhelming

The property is ok, but costs too much considering what you get and the location. It is very close to other places, and is dated. When we got there, we were met by dog poop right outside the front door. Not very welcoming. Also, the unit could use major updating and increased comfort. Leaving lint on the bedside table and used sponges in the kitchen are not up to the standard of hygiene that is expected given the current pandemic. Overall, the place needs cleaning, the carpets are dated and worn, and the TV is tiny given the space. One of the rooms has a 1990s TV, which is great to sell as retro, but not great for a vacation place.

Disappointing ... at best :(

Loved Cape San Blas, and the location of this property. Loved the ocean view pool and the near-by State Park. However this unit was ‘tired ... Balcony furniture was moldy and rusty. We had hoped to enjoy our meals outside on the balcony but the rust literally flaked off when you placed thing on the metal table, so we ate inside. The master bedroom carpet had urine stains ALL over it. I do realize it was a pet friendly property, and to expect a little wear and tear but that carpet was awful (with a urine odor to it) I actually slept downstairs in a twin bed after our first night there because of the carpet in the master bedroom. There was all kinds of leftover food in the kitchen cabinets including cans of SPAM and 1/2 empty liquor bottles. The condition of Barrier Dunes as a whole was quite disappointing as well. We rented the unit knowing that it was not ocean front and that the view was of a ‘garden’ ... which turned out to be a large expanse of patchy, weedy grass. The unit we rented was ‘efficient’ and you could tell that the owners have made attempts at making the living room bright and cheerful with the furniture and artwork. But overall ... the unit needs attention, it needs to be freshened up, carpet replaced and especially spruce up the back balcony ... the wood out there was absolutely BLaCK with mildew (and rusted out furniture.)

Such a wonderful place to stay. The condo was immaculate (kudos to the housekeeper). The entire place was well-stocked - everything you’d need to cook meals including spices and oils. Lots of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. We’ve never stayed in a place that offered so much. Chris, the host, was very easy to work with. We were able to ride bikes to the State Park and down the main road (30E) to other locations. Our dog had plenty of room in the house and outside offered lots of green space and areas to walk. Since the beach was truly only 2 minutes away our morning walks were always on the gorgeous beach. Every night offered a beautiful sunset.

After a long day of sightseeing it was heavenly to just take in the beautiful sunset.

Beach getaway

Took a quick trip to Cape San Blas with my wife and had a great stay at Barrier Dunes. Proximity to pool and beach access was nice.

A great place to stay

The owner is very quick to respond and instructions for the checkin and stay were clear, concise and spot on. The unit is clean, and very cozy. It has everything you will need for your stay and everything works. It is right by the second swimming pool and tennis/Pickleball courts. It is also a very short walk to the beach. And as everything else in Barrier Dunes, it is also a short walk to the clubhouse and the main pool. The beauty of the Cape is it’s peaceful easygoing pace. No big crowds, And if you want even more seclusion there is St. Joseph Peninsula State Park that is just outside of Barrier Dunes and which provides trails and even more secluded beaches.

Excellent property in Barrier Dunes

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a short walk to the beach and we had all the amenities we needed. The smaller pool was just steps away from the property and worked well for my mother with mobility issues. This is our second time staying at Barrier Dunes and we love the low key, family atmosphere! Great owners

We really enjoyed our stay. Beach and pool are both close. When we arrived the upstairs AC was having issues. We called the owners and they had someone out to fix it within 30min. Would definitely recommend.

I am a retired art teacher from the Chicago area, now moved to LA to be near our new grandchildren. Our family loves the beach at Cape San Blas. Our place is beautifully decorated, and well appointed. We are located 30 seconds to the solar pool and tennis courts, and less than a 2 minute walk over the boardwalks to the beach, clubhouse and pool. We love to bike and hike in the St. Joe Peninsula State Park. We love to eat the great seafood in the nearby restaurants, and listen to live music in the local eateries/pubs. Apalachicola, the second oldest city in FL., is a half hour away.

We purchased our townhome in 2004 from an NFL football player. We love the uncrowded, sugary white sand beaches of the Florida panhandle. We enjoy the great fishing eating, shelling, biking,and relaxing at the gated community of Barrier Dunes.

We love the small town of Port St. Joe. We shuck our own oysters that we purchase by the pound. We enjoy the most beautiful sunsets over the water. We also enjoy the shopping and great restaurants in historic Appalaciocola, the 2nd oldest city in Florida, only 30 minutes away. Also, we never miss a dinner at the Indian Pass Raw Bar during our visits. We take part in the several local activities whenever we can.
