Järvi Superior Paradise - Hermit's Cove

Hermit's Cove sijaitsee Michiganin Keweenawin niemimaalla lähellä Calumetia, kauniin hiekkarannan niemimaan etelärannikolla. Noin 15 kilometrin päässä Lake Linden ja Calumet. Lähin kylä (kaksi mailia) on Gay.

Maalaismainen mökki on täysin eristetty ja saatavana huhtikuusta marraskuuhun. Joulukuusta maaliskuuhun vuokrat eivät ole saatavilla.

Mökki on 26 jalkaa 30 jalkaa alemmalla tasolla, jossa yläpuolella on nukkumatilat puoleen ja pelipöytä ja sohvat toisella puolella. Alakerran makuuhuone on erillinen muusta matkustamosta. Sisäletkutyöt keväällä, kesällä ja syksyllä kausi mukaan lukien suihku.

Ulkona puulämmitteinen Finnleo-sauna on käytettävissä 12 kuukauden ajan. Kaunis näköala järvelle ja Huron-vuorille.

Lattialämmityksellä varustettu lattialämmitys voi lämmittää koko talon, mutta kaksi öljytäytteistä lämpöpatteria ovat myös käsillä kylmissä talvipäivissä.

Valkoinen hiekkaranta ulottuu koko lahden yli.

Mökissä on yksi queen-vuode, yksi parivuode ja kolme erillistä vuodetta, yksi kahden hengen kerrossänky ja kolme sohvaa (yksi vuodesohva). Myös sänky ja leposohva. Keittiössä on jääkaappi, sähköliesi ja uuni sekä täysin varustetut tarvikkeet. Seinät ovat Skandinaavisen pohjoismaisen valkoisen kuusen koko viihtyisä pohjoispuisto ja skandinaavinen ilme. Hermits Cove

My husband and I spent a week at Hermit’s Cove and had a truly wonderful time. We loved walking the beautiful beach, relaxing in the sauna, and cold plunging in Lake Superior, it was invigorating and unforgettable!We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The neighbors were friendly, the sunrises were stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a little slice of paradise.Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We will definitely stay again!

Long Weekend at Hermit Cove

First time staying here - booked for an entire week next year. Very clean and a beautiful setting. No internet and no TV and we didn't miss either of those "conveniences".

Beautiful Hermits Cove

We love this property, it is peaceful and very beautiful. This was our second time staying here and we already have reservations for next summer. It is in an excellent location for all things Kewenaw. This is a great location to get away from work and unplug and just enjoy lake superior.

Beautiful sunsets and sunrise

We love the walks in the back yard of Lake Superior beach in our stay, wind was high so we didn’t get much in the water but did found glass and beautiful rocks in our walks . We will come back to this place again

Feels just like your family's cabin

Quant cabin nestled against lake superior. Great place for a family to stay and enjoy a retreat together or place to stage your explorations through the Kewanee peninsula. We liked the quiet property and beach right our the door along with an authentic family cabin feel.

Stunningly view and quiet location.

My family and two dogs had a wonderful time at Hermit's Cove! The location on lake Superior is fantastic! Its a great location for site seeing of parks, and quaint towns. This cabin is stock with everything you need and things you didn't realize you needed! We loved just sitting by the shore and enjoying the view and the sounds of the waves crashing.

Could've been perfect

We had a lovely stay and the location was great; unfortunately, I was charged afterward for dog feces in the yard when I had picked up after our dogs. A neighbor's dog was running loose in the area and visited us daily.

Lake Superior stay

We loved being so close to the lake. We loved using the fire pit (although there was no newspaper to use to start the fire). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of pans, dishes, etc. The only problem we had was being unable to lock the doors. We tried to call the owners but had no cell phone service, so we trusted that everything would be safe we we went out. We did enjoy being internet and tv free for several days. Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin.

Bittersweet

Been staying at Loots Loodge every summer for 6 years. The bitter part of my review is this will be my last stay at Marks wonderfull cabin. The sweet part of my review is I now have my own place on the Keewenaw Bay. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Loots Lodge, and Mark has been a great landlord. I will miss the Lodge, but I love my new cottage.

Rock picking vacation

The property was awesome.......kinda hard if you have a trailer with side by side. No place to turn around. Had to back up out of the driveway to back up into the driveway. Was a bit frustrating, but we did it. The peaceful and quietness of the cabin was exactly what we were looking for, and we had the best vacation that we needed. Oh, and sitting on the porch, we watched fireflies at night that we haven't seen for many years.

Beautiful location.

We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this property. The cabin is a little rustic but has a wonderful shower with great hot water and fabulous water pressure. Perfectly appointed kitchen. Private main bedroom. A lovely gathering area to relax indoors and out. Very comfortable sofas and beds. Gorgeous beach with incredible views and just wow on all the sandstone. This is a perfect location to get to all the trails in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Just remote enough but still able to get to a town for groceries and many choices of restaurants in all the nearby towns. It was just wonderful that we could bring our dogs as they are our babies now. We really appreciate the generosity in making this cabin available to rent.

Nice place but weather didn't cooperate.

The property was as expected except that the bathroom is extremely small. Based on the cool weather and rain everyday the wood burning stove was great. We wished there were places that sold firewood a little closer to the property though.

Beautiful and rekaxing

We absolutely loved hermits cove and loots lodge. Exactly as described and more! Lots of supplies in the kitchen and very comfortable bed on the main level. We saw a bear and eagle... heard coyotes and a deer walked up behind my hubby on the beach... lots of loons... weather was perfect! Already booked a week for next summer. The only complaint is that the garbage in the kitchen was not emptied... only a little was left behind but it was just enough to stink and there was a half full bin of returnable cans... so ants. But overall it was incredible!

Disconnect and unwind with world class views

We had a great time staying at Mark's cabin. The property is top notch with excellent views of over Lake Superior of the Huron Mountains and sunrises. Being there early in the season the lake was too cold to swim in, but we managed to take a quick dunk while using the sauna. The cabin feels a lot like a family Yooper cabin. There's everything you need on hand. Plenty of utensils, appliances, games, and books. The wood stove provided enough heat to make it thru the night when it was in the low 40's. The lakeside sauna and screened in porch are a great addition to the property. We'll be booking again.

Lake Superior Beauty

My husband and I were only able to secure a 3 day booking. Wish it could have been a couple days longer but glad we had what we had. I worried a little on day one the neighbors to the left were running a tractor, spreading gravel or something. They also had a bunch of cute but noisy little kids and dog who liked to bark at me. . Thankfully that only lasted about 3 hours and then all went quiet. The camp is clean and bright with large windows. The lake and grounds beautiful. We would definitely stay again. . Last thing. When they say check out at 10 am they mean it. We just put the last things in car at 9:57 and my husband said cleaning people are here. lol.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

We came here because we wanted to be right on the water and wow did this place deliver! Beautiful sandy quiet lakeshore. The home was cozy for the two of us and had most of what we needed. I think a deep clean and a few new frying and sheet pans would make this place perfect.
