Maui at it finest! Fantastic oceanviews where you can watch whales from your balcony and visit sea turtles on the private beach area. This centrally located property is in a quiet area on Maui, but everything is just minutes away!
Maui's beautiful southern 7 Mile beach is just a 5 min walk away! The Maui Aquarium, Ocean Center Shops and Ma'alaea Harbor are just a 10 min walk way. The airport is a 12 min drive. Whether you are looking for a romantic or family friendly getaway, this is it!

Great location. It really is in the center of it all. We had some trouble with the tv upon arrival. I called Angela and she immediately sent someone to fix the problem. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Would recommend.

This was a great condo. Very centrally located and its stocked with everything that you need for a great Hawaiian vacation. Gail was fabulous with her information. I would definitely stay again.

Great Location

Central location to get to Kihei, Lahaina, Paia. If you want to do a boat excursion you are right in Maalaea harbor. The unit was perfectly furnished and very private.

Terrific spot!

Quiet, great pool and spa area, constant whale-watching from the balcony...what more would you want? Location is perfect for those who want to take cruises, and it's just a short drive to Kihei where you can find tons of great places to eat. Wonderful communication from the owner. Thanks for a great first trip to Maui!

Hawaii 50 - Ten day stay

A group of friends were able to each rent a place within the same complex. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our condo was just like the listing and the host was very responsive. Great place to stay and recommend it to anyone staying in Maui.

Just perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect for us and our schedule of activities. It was clean, well thought out and had everything we needed. The patio was delightful to just sit on and watch the ocean. Every morning, we would sit and enjoy our breakfast there. Host communication was great. Check-in was easy. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks again!

Enjoyed our stay

Truly close to everything. We traveled most of the island during our week stay. This condo is centrally located and allowed short or not as long drives to our destinations around Maui. The host was very easy to contact and work with on any questions we had. The trade winds were in full force, so a towel next to the front door helped with the howling noise. The beach is a half mile from the condo and walkable. Snorkeling at Haycraft Beach (nearest beach) is great to get reacquainted and then head to your better spots on Maui.

Maalaea Revisited

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. The first three days were very windy but the sheltered deck served just fine. The condo is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly want. We did not have use of the washing machine while we were there but Gail was working with the repairmen and got it solved the day before our departure. The view was great from the deck and turtles and whales were daily observations. We really enjoyed the new barbecue set up. In summary we really enjoyed our stay and recommend it without reservation.

Outstanding Condo

Our stay at Gail & Steve’s condo was outstanding! The location is so central to everything on the island. The condo was clean and beautifully renovated. Having soap, coffee, sugar, etc. was completely above and beyond which was a welcomed surprised! We enjoyed the beach at the end of the street and often saw a large turtle on the beach, a total treat! We would absolutely come back to this condo and will be recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you Gail & Steve for sharing this lovely condo with us! Mahalo! Dustin & Kristina

Perfect for a few day stay!

My husband and I stayed for the second half of our honeymoon. The condo was super clean, the host was quickly responsive, and it was a great stay! It was the perfect size and had everything we needed for a couple days. A little small for a long stay, but was perfect for us! The thing that got me the most was the turtles that beached at night, but also how much we could watch them during the day eating off the rocks along the condo shore! Highlight of our trip was watching them come up for sleep. There wasn’t much beachfront if you’re a beach person BUT Sugar Beach was a block down the road. It’s the end of the beach so it was super quiet with not a ton of people around, and more turtle watching. The only thing I’d caution is the wind sounded like it created a wind tunnel so there was noise at night time. It doesn’t bother me much or my husband, but a heads up to light sleepers. Overall for us, it was perfect!

Fantastic place to stay!

Totally enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. We found it to be one of the best equipped throughout. When cooking found every I needed to prepare a meal, just like in my kitchen at home. Had an issue with the toaster and I contacted the local manager and she brought us a new one within a couple of hours. My husband cooked several meals down at the gas grills and the area was always clean and other tenants worked together so was always fun time cooking a meal. Found the furniture to be comfortable especially the bed and bedding. Bath towels are top grade and was also nice to have beach towels there for our use. Since our stay was during whale season we spent lots of time out on the lani watching all the whales right out in front of the condo, the binoculars in the condo came in handy. The pool and hot tub was very nice and some days was like we had our own private pool. Would stay here on our next visit as owners were very prompt in responding to our questions and they have made their Maui condo a place where you will feel like you are at home.

What a wonderful place to stay!

Ma'alaea is such a great location, it's quieter than Kihei or the resort area, but central enough to drive to any major attractions. Right on the ocean, no highway to walk across. The condo is very well set up. Clean and bright, with everything you need in the kitchen. Nice touch to have beach gear, binoculars, travel book, and board games to really make this a pleasant experience. You can whale watch right off the balcony, take long walks on Sugar beach, and enjoy the pool and hot tub. The ensuite laundry was great as this was the second leg of our trip. Feels like you are staying at a friend's beloved place. Honestly loved it, amazing hosts. There are only two negatives worth mentioning that have nothing to do with the great unit or all star hosts. I would definitely still choose to stay here again, but feel this may be relevant information for some of you out there. First is that there is a very loud and enthusiastic rooster who starts at 6 am and is vocal until about 8 or 9. It will bother some and not others. Secondly, the residents of the building have a low tolerance for the noise children make. We only have one kid and he's very quiet so it wasn't a problem for us. However we were in the pool in the late afternoon (3 or 4 pm) and there were a few other kids laughing and playing while being supervised by their parents. They were 'shushed' multiple times - it was surprising as I didn't find the children loud. Perhaps the sound travels up. All this to say, if you have rambunctious kids it is probably not the best building for you. Personally we would come back!

Centrally Located

We stayed for the easy access to the Maui Oceanfront half marathon start line.The harbor for whale watch and snorkel excursions is just a short walk with shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from this 2nd floor unit, whale spouts! *Be aware no central AC, just window unit in living room. 2nd floor end unit, we saw whale spouts!

Comfortable, quiet condo with amazing views!!

Loved this condo. Cozy and quiet. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice curtains to keep the morning heat out. A/c worked well. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Enough closet space and drawers so you can put your clothes away and not live out of your suitcase. TV is a nice size. The ocean view is amazing. The owner was very responsive to any issues. The on-site property manager, Tom, is terrific. Hope to stay here again soon!!

Simply Perfect!!!!

This beautiful condo has the most extraordinary view of the ocean from the living room and balcony - we watched whales EVERY DAY ALL DAY!!! And the turtles came right onto the beach every evening. Surreal!! The condo was PERFECT and immaculate. It is stocked with everything you need to live there. The description was not lying about the breeze. We never needed the air conditioning. The next time we go to Maui I'll plan ahead far enough to get this same condo. Our friends had a nice place but nothing like this one. It is updated, bright, comfortable and so very clean. (It's worth mentioning twice how clean this place is. I'm really picky and found it to be perfect. The location is awesome too - a couple of great restaurants are within walking distance as are nice shops, a pub, ice cream, and a long beautiful un-crowded beach. Angela was so very helpful as we got ready to travel. If I could I'd give this place 10 stars!!

Quiet and great views

Our stay was exactly what the listing indicated. We watched several whales (mother and calves) frolic in the bay from the balcony. If you are looking for a quiet and community like setting, this is your spot.

Alone time

This was just so perfect. I needed some alone time to grieve. This was wonderful. Walked the beach. Sunbathing with turtles. Spread my sons ashes to swim with the turtles. So surreal. Thank you

Beautiful Oceanview!

We enjoyed our stay here. Short walk to a nice sand beach (sugar beach). We were honored to swim with many turtles there. Gail was very helpful and always responded to any questions I had. Would recommend going to the aquarium (ocean center) that was close by. Thank you for having a cooler, beach chairs, and an umbrella at the condo. They came in handy. Had a fabulous dinner at the restaurant in the shopping center near the aquarium.
