If you're craving stillnessâthe kind that comes with birdsong in the morning and the smell of woodsmoke at duskâCottage in the Woods is where you'll want to land. This one-bedroom retreat is tucked just enough off the beaten path to feel like a secret, but close enough to town and trails to make things easy.
Itâs simple. It's warm. And itâs made for two (plus the dog, obviously).
Cozy by design, not by accident
Inside, the cottage is calm and uncomplicated. Nothing flashy, just right. A comfy queen bed, a full bath with shower, and enough charm to make you forget what day it is.
The wood-burning fireplace anchors the living spaceâand youâll feel it the moment the fire crackles to life. Whether youâre curled up with a book or watching TV (thereâs one in both the living room and bedroom), this place wraps around you like your favorite blanket.
And yepâhigh-speed internet is included. So you can disconnect, or not.
Big deck energy and screened-in porch dreams
The screened-in porch is kind of the unsung hero here. Rain or shine, itâs the best place to sip coffee, play cards, or just listen to the trees do their thing.
And when the sunâs out? Head to the large deck, where thereâs room to stretch, snack, or just let your mind wander. Add in a firepit for starry nights and a pond that reflects it all backâand youâve got one of those places where the world feels softer.
Pet-friendly and totally private
We donât just allow petsâwe know theyâre part of the reason you travel. Bring up to two pups (just $40 per pet per stay), and let them explore the yard while you relax. With a private driveway, free parking, and no shared spaces, you wonât see anyone unless you want to.
This place was made for people who love slow mornings, afternoon naps, and the kind of silence that feels full, not empty.
Just one more thingâŠ
Cottage in the Woods doesnât try to impress. Itâs not curated for content or staged for likes. Itâs just peaceful. Honest. And the kind of place you remember for how it made you feel.
Bring your book. Bring your boots. Bring someone you love (or really like a lot). The woods are waiting.
