Choctawhatchee Bay retreat w/public access to Gulf of Mexico across the street!

750 sf 1st floor condo with a King bedroom, Queen bedroom and Queen memory foam sleeper sofa. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Bedrooms are furnished with sheets, quilt, blanket, Amazon Echo alarm clocks to stream music or podcasts, iron, ironing board, storage for clothes, hanging rack, 32' Smart tvs and 12" of storage space under the bed for suitcases. Linens and towels are provided along with hair dryers and a washer and dryer. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans...
There are 9 stairs leading to the entrance of the main floor condo. There are no handicap alternatives for the stairs. There are "No Pets Allowed" signs by the stairs. This means pets are not allowed to relieve themselves in landscapes beds. There is a designated dog area next to the dumpsters. Please clean up after pet. There are doodie bags provided on the leash behind the front door and in the kitchen drawer.
Looking to bring your boat? Brooks Bridge Marina located 2 minutes from the condo on the same side of the street and bay.
Cost: $3 per foot per day up to 4 days; $14.50 per foot for the entire stay up to a maximum of 7 days. Includes: water & electric with 110/30/50 amp. You can call to reserve ahead.

Looking to bring your boat? Brooks Bridge Marina located 2 minutes away on the same side of the road as condo on the same bay. You can load the gang at the condo dock but no docking for extended periods of time. Slips are privately owned at the condo dock. This was one of the best we have stayed at. Super clean property with everything that is needed and more. Great recommendations and hosts went above and beyond on helpful information. Would definitely stay here again. So much to do in the area and within walking distance. Whole family had an amazing week.

Born and raised in Ft. Walton Beach FL now residing in northern VA. We purchased this condo to share our love of the Emerald Coast's white sandy beaches and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico! We have parents, 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren along with many friends in the area that we enjoy spending time with when we visit.

We chose to purchase Bay Dreamin' at Hermitage at the Bay for our love of the Choctawhatchee Bay! The Hermitage is small and secluded with a gorgeous pool and boat dock on the bay. We love spending time out at Crab Island in Destin. There are many boat and jetski rental companies close to the condo or bring your own! Beasley Park is located across the street for public access to the Gulf along with The Boardwalk just down the street with restaurants and nightlife. So many restaurants along with the Gulfarium are within walking distance. We share a property line with the Fort Walton Beach Elks Lodge for members and members' guests.

Our property offers so much more than a hotel to make your stay relaxing and cost effective with a full kitchen for those stay-in meals, 3 smart tvs with Cox Cable or log into your favorite streaming channels. The beautiful pool offers restrooms and lounge chairs (beach towels, cooler & beach chairs are available in the condo) that overlook the Choctawhatchee Bay and boat dock. Walk through the back gate to the Fort Walton Beach Elks Lodge for members enjoyment. Picnic tables and grills are also located bayfront. Acrylic dishes and grilling tools are located in the kitchen of the unit. Just grab your charcoal and lighter fluid from Public Grocery Store 5 minutes away or go a little further into Fort Walton Beach to Walmart & Sam's Club for all of your grocery needs. InstaCart and DoorDash are great options for staying put and letting what you need come to you!
