Portside Resort on vakiintunut ”perheystävällinen” kompleksi, jossa on 16 hehtaarin palmuja, 3 uima-allasta (yksi lämmitetty ympäri vuoden), lastenallas, poreallas (myös saatavilla ympäri vuoden), kuntokeskus, shuffleboard ja 3 tenniskenttää - pääsee helposti kauniille, valkoiselle hiekkarannalle kadun toisella puolella. Erinomainen kävelyyn, pyöräilyyn koko trooppisen huoneistoalueen alueella.

Se sijaitsee Panama City Beachin toivottavassa länsipäässä, vain 15 minuutin päässä uudesta kansainvälisestä lentokentästämme. Se on 3 km: n päässä Pier Park -puistosta, josta löytyvät kaikki erikoisuuskaupat, Grand Theatre ja ravintolat, joista on näkymä lahdelle. Frank Brown Park on 5 minuutin päässä omasta valtavasta uima-altaan, tenniskentistä, baseball- ja softball-kentistä sekä paljon kävelyreittejä. Kaksi neljän tähden ravintolaa sijaitsevat 2 mailin päässä upeista meren antimista! McDonalds, Winn Dixie ja Walmart ovat vain muutaman minuutin päässä. Lähellä ovat myös: golfkentät, minigolf, Gulf World, Zoo World, Wonder Works ja Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Voit vuokrata skoottereita, vesiskodeja tai purjelautailla, jos haluat. Lisäksi Sandestin ja sen kuuluisa outlet-ostoskeskus ovat 30 minuutin päässä.

G-5 (yksikkömme) sijaitsee kompleksin keskellä, tenniskenttien ja taka-altaan välissä. Sen etuna on, että se on hiukan hiljaisempi kuin edessä oleva alue, ja silti helpon kävelymatkan päässä rannalta. Patio on kohti kaunista laguunia, jonka takana oleva uima-allas on laguunin toisella puolella.

Master makuuhuoneessa on queen-parveke; toisessa makuuhuoneessa on yksi parivuode ja yksi vyöryvä sänky. Molemmissa huoneissa on oma televisio ja DVD-ominaisuus. Täysi kylpy vieressä molemmissa huoneissa, erillinen turhamaisuus Master-sviitissä. Suuri ensimmäisen kerroksen oleskelutila avautuu patiolle, ja siinä on ulosvedettävä sohva, 6 ruokailupaikkaa sekä aamiaisbaari ja täysin kalustettu keittiö, jossa on mikroaaltouuni, tehosekoitin, jääpalakone ja kahvinkeitin. Siellä on TV w DVD ja kaapeli ja nopea internetyhteys w WiFi. Koko alakerrassa on järjestetty perheen hauskaa ja pelejä, sekä helposti ruokaa! Makuuhuoneet ja täysi kylpyamme ovat kaupunkitalohuoneiston toisessa kerroksessa.

Olemme lemmikkieläinystävällisiä (hyvin käyttäytyville lemmikkieläimille, joiden paino on enintään 20 lbs). Kutsumme sinut tulemaan ja tuomaan perheesi todella ikimuistoiseen lomaan. Jokaisella on varmasti jotain täällä! Tämä on savuton yksikkö. Tupakointi on sallittu vain terassilla.

Family vaca

This was our first real trip as a blended family and it was much needed. We have friends that own a condo in the same community and have stayed in the past several times. Convenient to everything but yet not in the middle of everything. Always a great stay! Communication with the manager was great and very accommodating 😌

With treatment this place would be perfect

Everything was as described, minus the roaches. Location is perfect and pools are beautiful. The host communicated and said she will inform the office and get it sprayed. Which if you don’t live there it’s hard to know about the bugs so I’m sure this will be handled. Aside from that it was fine, furniture could use some updating but everything else was fine. Condo was clean when arriving and the security lady at the office is wonderful.

The people in area were nice. The complex seems pretty secure. Was in a good location for Panama City beach. Would not let teenagers go freely in area after dark other than that no complaints.

Good location

The pools and hot tub are very nice and my children enjoyed having an option of which pool to swim in. Even on days where the beach was closed, the swim area never seemed too crowded. The beach was across the street, just a few blocks due to the rental being towards the middle of the property. We had no issues with communication. The grout for the tile on the lower level was painted black and not carried through the entire floor, the walls needed updating with paint, the doors all stuck and the master door actually would not open by the time we left our 6 night stay. There were 2 different door knobs on the door, which is probably why it happened. If there would not have been an adjoining door from the bathroom, my children and I would have been stuck in the room. The tv in the second bedroom should definitely be updated. Overall, it was a good stay just not as aesthetically pleasing as every other rental has been. A few disappointing notes were that when you stay an entire week, more trash bags or toilet paper are not provided. I also received a claim that the curtains were broke. These were ripped when we came and I actually put them up due to fear my 2 year old would get stuck in them. We bought the mandatory property damage insurance luckily and did not receive an email from the host about this. The washer is so loud we couldn’t do laundry when the kids were sleeping. We would stay in the community again but would opt for a different unit.

Would not stay again

I am very unhappy that the owner opened a claim stating we left stains on the couch! The stains were there when we arrived as we noticed them the first night we were there! I advised the owner of this but no response she just opened a claim. Aside from the claim, I was unhappy to learn that you also have to pay for parking. There was no mention of this in the listing. The visitor parking is also on a first come first serve basis so if the visitor spots are filled then you have to park all the way at the front parking. Very inconvenient! You also have to pay for armbands for the pool and this was not mentioned either. The listing should also include within the description that no towels or wash cloths are included. Not until 3 days before our stay when we received the email did we realize there would not be any. It is listed in the amenities in very small print (my fault for not reading the fine print during booking) but would have greatly appreciated all of this info in the description. My initial thought of the condo as I first walked in was that the place definitely needed a deep cleaning and updating. After maybe an hour of walking inside barefooted my husband noticed the bottom of his feet were completely covered with dirt from the floor. Upon booking I noticed mixed reviews on the cleanliness but I understand everyone has different opinions on clean. Unfortunately it appears the cleaning crew took the week off prior to our stay!

Nice little condo across from the beach.

This little condo wash clean, typically equipped. The second bedroom has an old tube tv that worked poorly, the internet was spotty and the off great room TVs were the smallest that I’ve seen. As a income property owner and manager I’d like to have seen those little updates since tube TVs have not been made in over 30 years. I’d stay again given its proximity to the beach.

Great Vacation

It fit all of our needs. It could use a little updating. We loved how close the swimming pools were to this condo. The beach access was about a 5 minute walk. It was a very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to bring our dog along.

Great place to stay!

We really loved our stay at this condo. It was nice and clean and had some extra necessities that we didn't expect. The owners even reached out to us to let us know about the flag warnings for our safety. We could tell they really care about their guests. The complex as a whole was nice and close enough to walk to the beach. The pools were never overcrowed and there were several evenings we had the pool close to us all to ourselves. Just perfect!

Perfect location and very comfortable

This was exactly what we needed! The walk to the beach was no problem at all and the grounds are beautiful. Communication with the owner and property manager could not be beat. One small hiccup when we got there with the door lock but it was fixed within an hour. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Labor Day weekend getaway

The bedrooms were a good size, and we loved that it had a back porch and balcony that allowed us to sit outside in the rain. My only complaint is that it was a little farther from the beach than I thought. I just finished my chemo, and it was a bit of a hike to get there. My kids did fine though.

The property was well maintained. The condo had a new porch and we liked the quite location. The neighbors are friendly. We have stayed at Wendwood and Southwind but I think we have found our new place. Mrs. Vinson was very helpful and easy to work with.

Much better than anticipated!

Everything was so nice and clean. The cleaning lady even went out of her way to help us get our car to the garage when it was leaking fuel. She called and hit us right in. We ended up having to stay longer than expected and owner tried helping us find a new place to stay after our check out time. Easy access to washer and dryer, easy access to outdoor water to spray things off, new wood in balcony of master and front porch area. Not a terrible walk to the beach, but if your carrying lots of stuff definitely have extra hands or a wagon. (Nicely black topped parking lot)

Perfect Home Base for our Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time here. Location of condo is in middle of property and not too far of a walk to beach. We have teenagers and a 12-year-old, so everyone was able to carry their own items. If you have littles, might want to bring a wagon. We liked the outside shower by the pool to rinse sand off after being at beach. You’re close to all the amenities, including Pier Park, restaurants, and groceries. Barbara was easy to work with and made sure we had all we needed. Furnishings are a little dated inside condo, but that was not an issue for us.

Great place

We love Portside bc of the ease of pulling right up to your unit, no elevators to deal with, great front pool, ease of access to beach. This unit is great, Clean, easy to enter (keyless). The 2nd BR has 2 twins and a trundle, which has been the most bed space we have found at Portside. We will keep it in mind for the future so our 2 small children can bring friends.

Quick Fall Break getaway

Overall we had a nice stay in PCB. Barb was excellent to work with. We did not have any issues with check in or during our stay. Condo was comfortable for our family and dog. There are stairs that lead up to the bedrooms and full bath. It was a bit of a walk to the public beach access, but not bad with older kids who can help carry their beach necessities. The property pools were nice, and the back one is just a couple minutes walk from the condo. Pier Park was only a few minutes drive, as well as a Winn Dixie and a Walmart to pick up food and items we inevitably forget. Thanks Barb for renting us your place for our little getaway!

We have a lake within 30 miles of us, but travel to PCB for sandy beaches and spectacular sunsets over the ocean.

Our family has been vacationing on the Emerald Coast for years and purchased this unit when SouthWest Airlines made flights very affordable and easy to get here. I love having the pools and hot tub within walking distance, and the easy access to beautiful white beaches. I loved hearing the locals call this resort the best maintained area in Panama City Beach. Makes me proud to be an owner of one of it's 167 condos.

Pier Park Mall is just minutes away. It has incredible shopping and dining opportunities. The Frank Brown Ball Park is only 2 miles down Back Beach Road, and is used frequently for ball tournaments.

There is a wonderful homemade doughnut shop just down the road that is too, too good, but you have to get there early (8?) to avoid long lines!

Definitely a 'family' place to stay! Try us out!

We love that the unit is in walking distance to the beach...no need to start the car. Also love to sit on the couch, or be at the dining table and look out at the lagoon and the luscious landscaping through the sliding glass doors. Or better, to have meals on that patio in the shaded beauty of Florida palms.

There are wonderful consignment shops, a huge shopping mall, lots of restaurants and specialty shops close by. We are about 5 miles away from the heavily trafficked areas of the college youth and bikers. close enough to get to if you wish, but far enough away to enjoy privacy and peace, with the beauty of the beach.

The airport is only 15 minutes away. We have all the comforts of home right here waiting! There are lots of things to do and to discover while you are here...or you can truly relax and just enjoy the sun, sparkling waters of the Gulf and the white sandy beaches.
