The Nut Hut is a very nice house. We enjoyed everyday and evening there. The location was great. Game room was so much fun along with the pool and hot tub.

We enjoyed the house very much. We found it to be large, comfortable and clean. The location is great! You can easily walk to the beach, supermarket, as well as local restaurants, etc. There pool, hut tub and games were a plus. The one downside of the house was that there is no clear upfront notice that bed linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap in the bathrooms, and a sponge for doing dishes were not included. My family arrived around 11:30 PM after driving for nine hours to discover that there were none of the items mentioned above, with the exception of one roll of toilet paper and hand soap in one bathroom. This made our arrival very frustrating, as well as wasted much of the first full day shopping for things we could have just brought from home if we knew in advance. We hope that the hosts will clearly mention this in the posting, and also include in the check in instructions for future guests. Other than this, the house was great!

This is our second year staying in this cottage! We absolutely love the pool and hot tub, and short walk to the beach access. Booty Treats on the corner was a hit with the kids and they enjoyed riding their bikes there! It is the perfect amount of space for our 11 family members, and we can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful house

Amazing house. Love the location. The house was very clean when we arived. But be reminded that nothing is provided not toilet paper, hand soap, sheets or towels. The TP was unexpected, should be remnants left. We had problems with the cable. So we could not watch tv for awhile. The internet was out. That wasn't anyones fault. Home owners were easy to get with us about that. Overall the house was amazing. Everyone loved the hot tub, the pool was cold but me and the teens loved it. The game room was lots of fun. So Overall i would definitely recommend this house to anyone and would stay again. tolibackt

Great house for families

This house has plenty of fun things to do for families. Not only is it close to the beach but the pool and hot tub were also very refreshing. The pinball machine was also a hit.

Wonderful Time!!

We had the best time this week! Such a great location - in the middle of the beach near all the stores, public beach access close to the cottage, and ice cream just a walk away. We really enjoyed the pool and the “hot pool” as my 4 year called it! We will definitely be staying again!

This home is perfect! It was clean, had everything we needed and fit all 10 of us comfortably. We already booked for next year! The pool, hot tub, and game room keep everyone busy when we weren’t at the beach. 🙂 Thanks for having us!

Great house close to the beach

Four adult siblings and 3 spouses (57-68yrs old) Plenty of room to spread out. Loved the pool and hot tub. We did take a small pop up for the pool area as there is no shade. Definitely got out workout with all the stairs but didn’t mind the exercise. The beach cart provided was fantastic so we didn’t have to carry everything the house is very clean and the kitchen is very well stocked We would definitely recommend this rental it was great

The property was pretty much as expected. There were no sheets or towels which was not known until email on check-in was sent. We drove seventeen hours and some came be air which made linens and towels an issue. We have not received the refund of the damage deposit as yet. The house was not as clean as expected and the eating and cooking utensils were dirty in the drawers.

Long Awaited Vacation with Family

We planned this trip with our adult children after a few years off from family vacations. We were very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the house and the amenities. The pictures do not do this house justice. We noticed some newer furniture and the bunks were gone replaced with two single beds, one a trundle which actually worked better for our group. There were two beach access points within a 5 minute walk and we used the hand cart, which the owners provide with some other beach items, to carry our beach chairs to the beach. The screened in porch at the back was lovely and we used the hot tub every evening! We thoroughly enjoyed this house and can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you for the memories!

Great place for a family vacation!

This is my family’s second time staying at the nut hut we love it more and more. The house has everything you could want. A lot of rooms and bathrooms. Games at the bottom floor, a lovely pool and hot tub. The house has a the best location, one block from the beach, ice cream stand and food lion. My family went with 6 adults from 65 to 30 years old. We also had five children from 13 to 5 months old. There was something for everyone. Everyone had a great time. 5 stars great house great location. I cannot wait to book it again!!! If you’re thinking about renting this house do it or you will miss out! Thank you again for sharing you’re lovely home with us!! John and family !

A Great Vacation with all you need.

Furniture and beds very comfortable. Plenty of space for our group. Hot tub, pool, pool table and pinball machine kept us entertained. Very clean. Kitchen had plenty. Walking distance to the beach and grocery store. We enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again.

Beautiful beach house

Perfect location and layout of the house for a large group. We had a fabulous week. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus! It was so nice to be able to meet the owners at the end of the week! Joyce is so sweet, thanks for opening your beach house to us. Pinball was a great challenge to our group. Kids loved it more than video games!

Awesome Beach House

This property was beautiful and very comfortable for our 10 family members which included 3 children 3 years and younger. Location was just a short walk to the beach and the little kids loved the pool. The authentic pinball machine and pool table was great fun! Neighborhood was quiet and very walkable to stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The Nut Hut delivers!

The Nut Hut is even better than the pictures! My family (5 adults, 5 kids (1-6yr old)) had the best time! Location was perfect… walking distance to the beach, booty treats, food lion, and more. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool was awesome. We swam in the pool every single day…my kids loved it! We plan to come back for another stay in the future.

Great time!

This property was exceptional. The home was large enough for 6 adults and 3 kids (2 under 2). It had most items needed for cooking. The pool was clean however too cold for us (late may) but the jacuzzi more than made for it. 2 blocks from the beach and located perfectly from a great ice cream stand and grocery store. Parks nearby as well. I would certainly stay again.

Large property with a great location.

Perfect for a group gathering spot. Beach access was close and property was amazing with swimming pool and spa, pool table and even a pinball machine! Lots of covered decks and a large area for sunning by the pool.

Relaxing getaway

We had a great time on this getaway! Beautiful property and great location to the beach. Enjoyed the ice cream shop on the walk to the beach! It was also convenient being so close to a grocery store and the other places we were visiting! Overall great vacation!

Great location - walking distance to the beach and a pool of you want to stay at the house

Enjoyed the front porch in the morning before everyone else got up. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is clean and the decor was great! The owners of the property were very responsive thru the whole rental process.

Perfect for families

This house was just as described, very clean, nice pool area, and in a great location! Short walk to beach, but plenty of parking at the beach access if you wanted to drive. Great communication with owners, would definitely stay here again!!
