Indulge in the serenity of this exquisite marsh front retreat, boasting 4 bedrooms and 4 baths in a secluded gated community. Admire sunsets and panoramic views where the Atlantic Ocean meets Dewee’s Inlet. Relax in the private pool or rejuvenating hot tub without leaving the property. There is an additional fee for heating the pool and hot tub. Please inquire for daily pricing and details. Please notify SkyRun Charleston if you wish to heat the pool and hot tub prior to arrival. Beach access is a short stroll away.

Carolina Elegance North is a two-story spacious home with garage access. The first floor offers a generous living area with plush seating, dining space, and a large HDTV. Step onto the screened porch/sunroom for lounging, reading, or morning coffee. The well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops and a pass-through to the dining room makes morning coffee with a marsh view a delight. The laundry room is located on the first floor along with a half bath. A king bedroom overlooking the pool and marsh with a full bath completes this level.

Upstairs, discover three guest rooms in a comfortable setting. The spacious west guest room boasts a king bed, sitting area and a porch sitting area with a full bath. Step onto the open deck overlooking the pool, golf course, and marsh. The second bedroom is perfect for children, featuring a full-sized bunk bed and a jack n’ jill bath. Unwind in the front bedroom with a king bed and that connects to the jack n’ jill bathroom. The master bath offers a jetted tub, a separate tiled shower, and a double sink vanity.

Step outside to your private pool complex just beyond the back door, where you can watch the kids swim from the porch and grill-equipped deck. The secluded beach access is minutes away, ensuring a tranquil escape. Linens, Wi-Fi, and cable TV services are provided. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Please note that motor homes, trailers, boats, golf carts, and motorcycles are prohibited within the gates of Wild Dunes.

We had a great stay! The house was missing a few items from the pictures, but was more than sufficient for our stay and we were especially happy with the location. We also really appreciated the owners/property management responsiveness. We look forward to returning to the area again next year!

Annual IOP vacation

Our family goes to IOP every year during the April break. We’ve stayed at a number of different places on the island from down on 57th to wild dunes and up island closer to the connector and in the middle on Palm boulevard. We loved this location! The beach was great and so close to the house. The pool and hot tub were a favorite of the kids. The house itself had a great layout for our extended family to visit while cooking and hanging out. Bedrooms and bathrooms were convenient for us to share while the master had lots of privacy. Could possibly update the cookware but we made it work. We are a family of cooks and lovers of food and had great meals every night. Would highly recommend!

Pros: proximity to the beach, property manager very responsive to maintenance requests, location is private and safe, upstairs air conditioning wonderful, outdoor furniture is nice Cons: house needs updating and deep cleaning, pretty much everything is old & worn out, garage filthy, hot tub & pool must be at same temp so not really a hot tub

Disappointing beach stay

We are senior citizens and chose this property, in part, because the VRBO website states that it has an elevator. Sadly , that was false advertising. There is no evidence that it has ever had an elevator. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood...and is, without a doubt, the eyesore of that neighborhood. The maintenance of the house, yard, and landscaping have all been neglected. The kitchen is poorly equipped and many of the pots and pans are unusable. (We had to purchase a frying pan just to be able to scramble eggs.) The furniture is old and in disrepair. One of the couches used to have recliners on both ends, but they no longer recline. There are 2 wing back chairs that are literally about to fall apart. The picture window at the kitchen table is permanently "fogged" so much so that you can't see out of the window. The downstairs A/C is unable to adequately cool this level. With the thermostat set on 70-72 the temperature in the downstairs was 79-80. Maintenence visit did not help and no cause established. The garage was disgusting! It was dark, dank and filthy. The owner boasts about having a ping pong table in the garage. There were no ping pong paddles or balls...not that anyone would want to play in the garage because of the condition (and heat) in that area. Also, the owner boasts about the pool toys. There were multiple deflated floats, balls and broken toys in two large pool boxes. 1 star for the great pool and the responsive property manager.

Awesome Pool!!

The well appointed home has tons of space for group activities as well as some private time. It is in the most exclusive neighborhood of Wild Dunes and is literally a 3 minute walk around the corner and past the 18th tee of the golf course to the beach. The saltwater pool is the bomb; fun volleyball and basketball during the day & relaxing evenings when the pool is uniquely lit. The host/owner is wonderful and very kind and generous. She checks in regularly to ensure that your visit is going well. Overall a great visit: 5 stars.

Perfect Isle of Palm Stay

We had an amazing family vacation staying at Carolina Elegance. We spent hours a day in the pool and hot tub, enjoyed grilling meals on the barbeque and spending time just relaxing. The beach is an easy walk from the front door and house is packed with everything you might need to enjoy a day at the beach. Karen was a lovely host, she was very responsive when we had questions and even gave helpful suggestions. Among the best parts of our trip was actually the wildlife out the back door! We saw deer, an alligator and some very impressive birds. I highly recommend this home for your next family vacation!

Great vacation spot

The house was perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was short. The beach chairs and wagon were great to have. They were all in perfect shape. I loved how they were all organized and hanging in the garage. The pool and spa were awesome, and the kids enjoyed the numerous pool toys. The owner was also very responsive to any questions we had. Pool & hot tub fabulous

As stated, pool & hot tub made this property. We were all adults & found the ocean beach a challenge. This house is perfect for kids. The closest beach is the inlet beach. While there, very few waves, so perfect for young kids, not so much for older children. Owner/manager was very attentive. A lot of good beach chairs & basketball net for pool helped make fun challenges.

Lovely Thanksgiving Week

We had a fantastic time at Carolina Elegance. Location to the beach was perfect. Thanksgiving side dishes and desserts were expertly crafted in the well stocked kitchen - (turkey brought in from a smokehouse). Lots of games and entertainment selections for the kids and teens. I recommend adding the golf cart and pool heat (if chillier months) to maximize the experience.

Clean, updated and close to beach

The home is beautiful! House is very clean and up to date with many amenities at hand. We only had one question for Karen during our stay and she was quick to respond and see to our need. Tons of toys were in the home for the kids and the pool had lots of activities /toys as well. The beach is a quick walk and very private. Having the sheets and bath towels in the home was also a huge plus!

Great for families

The owner set out an abundance of age-appropriate toys for the kids in our group - we were all entertained all week! She also checked in frequently to make sure all was going well. The pool is a wonderful hang out spot for kids and adults! Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful five-minute walk to the beach.

Beautiful Property

This is a wonderful property tucked away within Wild Dunes. The backyard pool area is spectacular and was a focal point during our trip. The beach is a short walk away and was much quieter than other areas on IOP. The property owner manages the property directly and was responsive when a few maintenance issues arose.

Our Favorite Beach House

We have been taking annual family beach trips for 10 years, and this was by far our FAVORITE beach house. Karen is wonderful to work with. She was prompt in responding to questions both before and during our stay. There are plentiful beach toys, pool toys, games, puzzles, and children's toys. The salt water pool is marvelous, and the pool lights make an evening swim so fun for children. The beach is a short walk and a bit quieter as far as number of people and height of waves than the rest of the island making it a lovely place for small children to play, ride waves, fly kites, and look for wildlife. I would recommend renting the golf cart. Golf cart rides were an after supper ritual and dusk was a perfect time for spotting deer and other animals. The gated area was quiet and very secure. We had a fun time of memory making at Carolina Elegance and hope to return next year.

IOP Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carolina Elegance. Location is a short golf cart ride to the beach and the kids had a blast in the pool. Pool toys are perfect and games and toys for kids in the house were appreciated. No need to pack anything for kids...it’s all there. Neighborhood is quite and a short walk to golf course driving range and chipping green for golfers. Karen was very responsive with any questions.

Perfect beach getaway

Our family had an amazing time staying at Karen’s property on Isle of Palms. The location is amazing just a few steps away from the beach, and the pool/hot tub is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was provided that you could need, and it was a huge bonus having so many toys provided for our children. Karen was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to give us recommendations to make our trip perfect!

Lovely beach house

I stayed here with my husband, our 3 kids, and my parents for a 2-week vacation. We were very happy with the house. There was lots of space for us to spread out, comfortable beds, toys and games for the kids, and a well-equipped kitchen. We paid to have the pool heated, and it was well with the cost, as the the water probably would have been chilly in April. The house is a very short and easy walk to the beach, and we were able to use wagons, beach umbrellas, and beach toys that Karen provided, which made everything fun and easy.

Exceptional experience

We have been renting beach houses for over 10 years, and we have never had one as well stocked and with such attention to every detail. From the abundant pool toys, the board games, and kitchen supplies, this house really made it easy to enjoy our vacation. You know how you’re always searching for outlets to plug in everyone’s devices? Not in this house. Outlets with usb charging stations in every bedroom. They had some disposable plastic containers in the kitchen to avoid the gross glade are containers that I never feel comfortable using in a rental property. The pool and spa was really amazing... so glad we paid to heat them. We also enjoyed the golf cart. Karen was incredibly responsive, even ordering replacing things I noticed missing while we were there. A fantastic experience.
