Disappointing Experience — Needs Attention from Vacasa
Our stay was not what we expected. For a party of four, we were only provided with three washcloths and told to check the closets, after already stating I checked and they were empty—I ended up using a large rag all week. The kitchen needs serious attention: the knives were so dull they were basically unusable, and the nonstick coating on the pans was peeling, making them unsafe to cook with.The couch had a strong musty, mildewy odor that made the main living area uncomfortable to use. There was also no first aid kit available, which became a real concern after someone in our group got a minor cut from the exposed metal siding on the oven.There are three flights of stairs, so anyone with mobility concerns should be aware. The garage space is also quite tight—our trunk hit the top, so you have to open it very carefully. The door lock felt loose and wasn’t the easiest to use, which made our check-in tricky.Customer service was disappointing. I initially received generic, robotic responses from multiple Vacasa reps, and after being told the local team would follow up, I heard nothing for four days. Not my first bad experience with Vacasa either. This property could be much better with proper maintenance and attention to guest communication, but as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it.
