We had a stay from 11/07-11/10 and at 7:50pm on 11/07 I called the property management company and advised there was no hot water in the house as well as black mold. They stated that a technician would come out on Saturday 11/08 between 7am-5pm. I checked in multiple times throughout the day and no one came. I called a few times with no answer from 5pm-7pm and no one answered so I contacted Vrbo directly. I was on the phone with Vrbo for over an hour and finally I received a message from the property management company that a technician was on the way. (This was not 8pm) a technician arrived shortly after 8:30pm and he was not able to fix the hot water issue. At that point I received a message from Vrbo stating I would receive a refund and that a technician would also come out the next day to fix the issue. It wasnât until Monday morning that someone came again and they were still not able to fully fix the hot water issue. At that point we were checking out and it didnât matter. On Tuesday half of our party that stayed on site got sick with cold like symptoms and on Friday one of our family members ended up in the ER and they confirmed acute respiratory infection due to bacteria. It has been over a week and I still have not received the refund and when I checked back in for a status update they arenât aware of any refund and they are escalating it to their management team. Highly recommended not staying on this property.
