The property management made our trip!

This was our first time to Belieze and we were on a sharp learning curve. Our property manager was wonderfully patient and very knowledgeable. He made our trip all we wanted it to be snd more!

Sunset Pointe #2

Recommend this property, it was very clean, as described, everyone was very friendly and a walkable distance from restaurants and shopping. We did rent a golf cart, which we recommend and rent early. We had our coffee watching the sunrise and cocktails watching the sunset on the dock. The pool was great and if we wanted to go to the beach we went to Placencia Beach Club. It was the perfect place to relax and we will go back.

Short trip to Placencia

The condo was clean, and the site manager was accommodating. Because of the rain, we drove to other locations, but otherwise, we would have been able to use the provided complimentary bikes.

Amazing place to stay in Placencia!

Don’t hesitate to book this stay! The host was so responsive and communicative, check in process was seamless. The condo itself is exactly as pictured, beautiful and clean. The location is a short walk into town which was very convenient. Overall we loved our stay and would absolutely come again.

Amazing!!

We had an amazing vacation thanks to you, Francisco and Alfred. Sunset Pointe is beautiful and very well kept. What a vision you and your husband had in the development of the property. Truly splendid. Our rental was absolutely perfect. Francisco was extremely helpful, from the moment we arrived to the the departure in our taxi yesterday. We fell in love with sweet Luna and that gruffly sounding Tiger, 😂. Alfred was so much fun, we didn’t want do anything other than hang out with him every day. We all learned so much about the area, the culture and the snorkeling was to die for. He’s a gem.

Beautiful Condo with Fantastic Host and Caretaker

We spent a week at Janis’ condo and had a wonderful time. The building and condo are impeccable! Janis called before our trip to check in and see if we needed anything. Francisco was absolutely lovely and keeps the grounds beautiful. We would rent from Janis again.

Motorcycle Journey Placencia Stop

I arranged for my ex-husband and son to stay at this property for three nights while on a motorcycle journey from the USA to Argentina. They reported back that they really enjoyed their stay in Placencia and that the property was excellent. It was quite a bit more upscale than what they’ve been staying in and it was a nice treat along the way. Watching the sunrise with coffee on the widows walk was a great way to start their day. It is a close walk into the main part of Placencia but peaceful and quiet when you return. I have stayed at Sunset Pointe in the past, and it is seriously the best place to stay in Placencia. If you get a chance you really need to book this property. I look forward to booking a stay next year. It’s been too long since I’ve been back to Belize.

A magical condo in a magical village

We fell in love with Placencia and this wonderful property felt comfortable and luxurious. Francisco, the caretaker, was helpful but gave us plenty of space/privacy. The beds were kind of hard but we got used to it. Everything else was excellent! We can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely wonderful!

We had 2 couples sharing the condo and there was plenty of room. The rooftop deck had an incredible view. Janis was very responsive and the caretaker was very helpful. We definitely recommend and hope to return.

couldn't ask for more-- Janice was more than helpful n responsive from beginning to the end. Check in was easy n quick. Caregiver lives nearby n is always available n helpful. Relaxing stay in perfect condo

The condo has the cutest decor and the loveliest location! Our tours were able to pick us up at the canal. The breezy dock is right there for reading and relaxing. Easy communication with owner. Only the WiFi was not always reliable. Overall a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful property. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Pointe.

We enjoyed our view from the Pier, the Pointe and the roof. Our only disappointment was no BBQ grill to use. Our friends rented a different condo on the same property and theirs had a nice propane grill and large table with padded chairs on the back deck. We ate our meals at their condo as they had the grill. We definitely want to thank Janis for her recommendation of Alfred Williams and sons. They done an awesome job of being our tour guides. The massage therapist was amazing also. Thank you for a great vacation spot.

Perfect for our family

We had a wonderful 5 days in Placencia and could not have had a better location for our home base. The condo space, location and its amenities were all we could have asked for! My kids loved the pool and walking up to the roof top thatched “lookout” for the sunrise and sunset views. What a view! It was great to have the bikes to take into town and it was also easy to walk to restaurant and boat departure points. We did have a car but felt we could have likely done without one. Janis and her husband have made the space very welcoming and we enjoyed the local art and decor. It felt much more “authentic” vs the more sterile/staged decor that many vacation rentals have. Lots of personal touches! Thank you for having us and we are already talking about another family visit in the future! We had many great adventures there but still have so many more to experience. We knew Belize had a lot to offer but did not realize just how special our visit would be. Thank you!

Placencia Paradise!

Placencia is now my favorite beach destination in Belize. It is much more laid back and relaxed than Ambergris Caye and I loved that! And Sunset Pointe was perfect. I loved not getting in my car for 5 days! This is the perfect location a bit away from the village, but still an easy walk. I highly recommend it!

Thank you Janis for allowing travelers to stay in your beautiful condo. It is truly picturesque. The view from the upper deck is as advertised.The reason I did not give it 5 stars is the road getting to the condo. I live on an unimproved road and it is not that difficult to maintain. The only other issue,which was minor,was the small restroom sink did not drain well. I reported it to Francisco . He said he would fix it. he did not. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. The condo,views and pool/spa out weigh any negatives.. Thanks again Wilson and Renee'

Beautiful unit, privacy with central location

This condo at sunset pointe was perfect. Located at the end of the street and surrounded by water, it was a five minute walk to town. The beds were so comfortable, and the unit is stocked with everything you would need. Use of bikes and kayaks are a bonus. This has the luxury of the higher priced accommodations with a better price tag and location. Owner was prompt with responses, and although we did not need any help from the caretaker, he is there if a question should arise. Our fishing guide picked us up at our dock in the morning, just walk out the door. Perfect place if staying in Placencia, you will not regret spending time here. Thank you !

This is a quaint, quiet, and very beautiful place.

We enjoyed our stay so much. I think probably one of the most beautiful places to stay in Placencia. Setting on dock and watching birds, fish jump, and boats was nice. The place is conveniently located but not too close to village. Nice walk if weather is good. Renting a golf cart was a good idea and fun to drive. Roads were really bumpy, but no hurry no worry. Pool was amazing and hot tub relaxing. We went on 3 excursions while here. Monkey River, Ranguana Caye, and Laughing Bird Caye. Our guides were great, snorkeling incredible, and howler monkeys haunting. The boat rides pretty rough going out but worth the jostling.Thank you for making this Christmas with my family a trip I’ll never forget.
