Great find!

The stay was amazing. The location couldn’t have been better! The condo was clean and as advertised. The only complaint I had about the stay was that the water did shut off a few times because of the sensors but did get turned back on fairly quickly once we called to notify them. I would absolutely stay here again!!

AMAZING LOCATION!

PROS: The location of this property couldn't get any better. There is a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean from the HUGE balcony, you are literally steps away from the water. I loved that it is a gated community!! We only ran into others in the elevators maybe four times. Major plus! Loved that there were carts available to help bring luggage and groceries up to our unit. The unit is HUGE, way more room than we needed (thought the two living areas would be good for adults and kids, but we ended up only using one). Beds were comfortable enough and bath towels were nice and plush. Had all appliances that we needed. Check-In/Out process was a breeze! CONS (nothing is a deal breaker): As for the location (as wonderful as it is), be aware there is NO lifeguard. I wasn't aware of this beforehand. We had an issue with the water sensor turning off the water in the whole unit three different nights. Always happened around the same time at night (8-9pm) and we had to wait until they called us back to turn it back on. The phone in the unit would randomly ring multiple times in a row and when answered all we heard was static. As for furniture, we do think that the cushions on the balcony furniture would benefit to be replaced. They are very flat and not comfortable (and very faded). The couch is ok, but it is hard and could use to be updated. We could not get the TV in the double twin room to get any channels, but all other TVs worked fine. Again, none of these are a deal breaker.

Lovely condo - Perfect location

We met family in Miramar Beach for a weeks' vacation. Empress 904 condo was outstanding. Location was fabulous and the place was spacious, beautifully decorated and offered views of the beach and lake (& bay). We stay there again without hesitation!!!

Opulent and Spacious

Gorgeous decor. Excellent beach view. Can clearly hear sound of waves on 9th floor. Two bedrooms located facing expansive balcony and Gulf. Great place to vacation. Lots of shopping and dining. 1 mile east of Pompano Joe’s; Whale’s Tail across street. Street noise wasn’t bad.

Great Place to stay

The condo is a beautiful property. Very clean and loved the stay. Would return again. Only issue we had was the washer does not work correctly and will not spin out the water. Had to had wring the water out. But other than that the unit is perfect and would return again if that issue gets resolved.

Family Vacation

The property was exactly as shown. It’s beautiful! Great location. We had a family 8 and we had plenty of room, very spacious! It was clean and we enjoyed the double patios and great views. Easy check in/out. There were a couple of small issues. The clothes dryer, no matter what the setting, needed to be turned on 3 times for the clothes to dry. So plan accordingly, or hopefully, they will fix after I notified them. The dishwasher was tricky, sometimes we had to run it twice. Small issues like light bulbs out here and there, but again, we reported, so hopefully they will fix those also. There was a small mold spot in the Queen bedroom bathroom that needs to be addressed and my kids told me that bed was a little hard. There were plenty of dishes and pots/pans for making your own meals. Stores are conveniently close by. Great starter supplies and plenty of towels. A few more hangers in the main closet would be nice, but again, not a big deal. Would I stay here again...most definitely. Items that had a problem were small and would not deter me from staying again. The rules said we had until 10 am to check out, but the cleaning crew showed up at 9:00 am. We were actually leaving as they showed up, but still awkward as I had not checked out early. Great vacation and would recommend!

Beautiful Unit

This unit is beautiful but could definitely benefit from a facelift. New mattresses are needed in every room, the couches were more comfortable than the beds. I’ve seen several reviews stating the same thing, not sure why they haven’t been replaced. None of the interior doors lock which was a little annoying with kids running around. Would definitely stay here again if mattresses were replaced!

The condo was nice and had excellent views but it was not clean. We had the people redo a bathroom and the floor Needed to be washed. The furniture was old but okay. The mattress needs to be replaced. in spite of this we liked the location and enjoyed the pool at sunset

Beautiful and spacious unit!

Very large spacious unit and beautifully decorated. Nice linens and plenty of towels in all three bathrooms. Kitchen and bar area well stocked with nice dishes and cookware. Ice maker a plus! Beautiful views from both balconies!

This condo although furnished decades ago gives you that ultimate Florida feel. 2 master suites are very roomy with large ensuites and walk in closets. 2 sitting areas w flat screen Tv’s. Large open concept. Kitchen is spacious and appliances although outdated do the job. Could use a 4 slice toaster to make breakfast easier. Wet bar w large ice machine made making drinks easy and filling our coolers for the beach a no brainer. Back room w 2 single beds and a pull out couch were perfect for the kids. Only thing we noticed that needed attention was the couches need cleaning. Hope you book this condo. If we go back we will go with 2 other couples. Lots to do, Beach is beautiful, tons of restaurants, few golf courses and 2 outlet malls. Take care

A Thankful Vacation

First time staying at The Empress. Overall, everything was wonderful. The condo (904) is beautiful and very well equipped and maintained. The location is perfect, allowing not only great views of the beach and the lake, but allowing you to see the sunrise and the sunset right from the balcony. The only suggestion we would make would be a possible mattress upgrade in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. We will definitely want to stay at The Empress again and have already suggested it to some of our friends.

Family Vacation 2015

The property was very roomy, nice and we really enjoyed our stay here. The Balconies were roomy and comfortable with beautiful views. All the bedrooms were nice, roomy and nicely decorated. The place as a whole is decorated nicely and has a lot of luxury appeal to it. The icemaker was a nice amenity as was the trash chute being so close. Nothing is perfect though. These are noteworthy items to be fixed, corrected or at least be made aware of. These things kept me from rating this a 5 Star and are as follows: 1.) The Master Bedroom was noticeably warmer than the rest of the rooms and could be very uncomfortable at night. 2.) There appeared to be mold/water damage from a water/rain leak in the Master Bedroom at the floor base area at the head of the bed nearest the ocean/patio. 3.) The Master Bedroom TV was not located where it is easily visible and the TV itself was very old. The screen was discolored and not nearly what you would expect for the money paid. 4.) The dryer takes a very long time to dry and needs to be serviced. 5.) The door stop on the entrance door would not stay in an upright position and had tape on it to tape it upright to the door. Very aggravating to deal with and not very appealing for the price paid. 6.) The dishes were not clean in the dishwasher when we arrived and the floors were not very clean. Sand was left in a pile where it was swept up and not disposed of. All of that being said, please do not think I would not recommend this place. I certainly would provided these items were addressed. It is very lovely and everything I mentioned can be fixed or corrected very easily. I do not think it was as good a value for the money as it should have been with these items or conditions present. We did not complain about these things while we were there simply because we did not want to spend our vacation time dealing with complaints and repairs. We knew we could make these things known after we left and hopefully, they would be fixed/corrected for a future guest.
