Family Trip

Our stay was very nice. I received emails/texts with instructions on check in and check out. We requested firewood, extra towels, extra forks and the hot tub repair; all was taken care of very quickly except the repair but the hot tub was partially working so we weren't without it. The location was ideal and the house was very clean. The patio was great to relax as was the firepit. They had a fun arcade table that was fun for the kids. All 4 bedrooms had nice king size beds and bathrooms of their own then one more extra bathroom off the kitchen.

Family Vacation

The Family went for the week. Mom, Dad, daughters, son in laws and grandkids. 11 total. We had plenty of room for everyone. It was well stocked for the things we needed while cooking and grilling. So happy to see a washing machine a two dryers. That was perfect for the large load of laundry every day. It was a beautiful house, very big but also very cozy. If we get the chance we will go back. Had a Wonderful time and many great memories made.

Eclipse viewing vacay

This house was perfect for 3 senior couples. In addition to enjoying all of the living spaces, indoors and out, we enjoyed making fires in the fire pit and sitting in the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped (except that the microwave turn table plate was missing). Everything was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the towels plentiful. Within an easy 1/4 mile walk, there is a gift shop, bbq restaurant, virtual reality ‘cave’, and a candy store. And the cherry on top of our stay here…. The eclipse!! Highly recommend this house. We are already planning a return trip next April!

Nice cabin, nice location, enjoyed stay, needs a bit of detailed care

First off, we had a great trip and enjoyed our time staying in this cabin. The large beds are EXTREMELY soft, the twin bunks are fine for kids but not for adults. There were a few downers at this cabin. There was no dish liquid detergent for hand washing, and there were only a few dishwashing pods. The cabin could have used some more casual blankets/pillows/throws. The grill outside did not light without a lighter, but to light with a lighter required removing all the grates and the lower grates were broken and laying on the burners. Was kind of a pain and pretty dirty. I can tell it was a good grill at some point but it needs to be replaced or greatly serviced. The outdoor fireplace didn't work. We requested service but they didn't show. Hot tub all but one knob was broken off so there was little functionality other than hot water. It needs a rehab/replacement. Then probably the biggest downer was we could only find one remote that would work 3 of the 5 tv's. There were lots of remotes around the house, but many either didn't work or didn't work consistently. This was a pretty big pain. I know it seems like lots of negative, but we did have a fun time. It would have made the trip less friction-y to not have the above issues though.

We had a great weekend at makin' plans. Upon arrival it was obvious that only half the cabin got cleaned. I reached out to property manager who sent someone right away to take care of it. Otherwise a 5 star stay. The cabin offers lots of space and everyone enjoyed their rooms. Thanks for the weekend getaway

Great Experience

Ashley answered all my questions before and during my stay. We had a great time at this cabin. We are actually thinking about coming back next year. The cabin offers everything you need, internet was fast, temperature was great, love the fact that there were 2 Grills available. We had a great time and we recommend everybody to rent this amazing cabin.

Almost perfect stay !

We were here over the weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as we expected after reviewing the pictures for the property. Few minor issues that we encountered were as follows: 1. The patio lights were not fully working as there were quite a few bulbs burnt out. It was dark at night time. 2. The patio seating area (1st and 2nd floor) was covered in dust and had not been cleaned. 3. The freezer did not work and there was a pool of water underneath the fridge that we ended up cleaning. However, maintenance showed up next day to fix it. 4. There were no trash bags for taking the trash out but again, the management was quick to have the housekeeper respond. Other than that, it was a good location to relax and enjoy nature with family and loved ones.

Walker Family Trip

Enjoyed our stay at Hochatown, the only regret is that it was not long enough. The home has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It rained all day the second day we were there, but it was pleasant to see and hear inside the cabin. I would definitely rent it again.

Peaceful but close to town.

Great place to stay! Beautiful, clean, and very responsive host. There were a few things that needed attention (ex leak in refrigerator) and the host responded almost immediately and sent someone out to fix. Cosy blankets everywhere and back area perfect for kids to play and for wine by the fire pit.

Great Cabin for families

We loved the location! The cabin was spacious and accommodated our family pretty well. However, check in was supposed to be at 4:00 pm, we arrived at 4:30 and the cleaning crew was there letting us know that the Cabin was not ready yet because they were not notified to clean it on time. Other than that, everything was good.

Made marshmellow memories here

Another great family retreat and early Thanksgiving. The cabin had private space for everyone with the two family bedrooms upstairs and large primary suite and secondary bedroom down. From the playground for the grandkids to the campfire and arcade games for the young adults, the cabin provided hours of fun for every age level. Many memories were made here.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of 7 here for 5 days 4 nights for our 40th high school reunion. This place provided us with everything we needed as for as space and luxury. Everyone was comfortable and accommodated. There were few things we were not pleased about and one was the conditions of the roads as there were a lot of large potholes that will damage your vehicle. There was one spot where the holes ran from one side of the road to the other as there was no way of dodging it. We also found roaches in the kitchen that was disheartening. Some of the bathrooms did not have face towels, thankfully we had brought some of our own. And finally, there were spiderwebs in the kitchen above the stove, but we wiped them down. We didn't complain as it was the weekend and figured this wouldn't be considered an emergency. Other than that, our stay was very refreshing and comfortable.
