Everything was perfect!

By The Pond had everything we needed for the most amazing vacation. The pool was so relaxing. The golf cart and beach chairs made going to the beach a breeze and so many toys for the kids! Sitting by the pond with coffee was the best way to wake up every day. No need to go anywhere as this place was perfect for cooking all our meals and had so much to keep everyone entertained the entire week!

Perfect family vacation

We live By the Pond for so many reasons, but the top 3 are its location, cleanliness, and layout. There is enough room for grandparents and teens to spread out when needed but there are also lots of spaces they can hang out together.

The perfect house for our family!

This stay was 5 ⭐️ for us! Kathy and Steve are very welcoming and amazing hosts! The location is perfect and I loved feeding the turtles and ducks on the pond! I cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you both for opening up your home and sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Perfect week with a perfect house!

The house was very accommodating, clean and spacious. It is bigger on the inside than it looks. Love the two sitting areas. The kids loved the pool, the pond with the turtles and riding the golf cart. The golf cart was a huge help with all the little ones. Perfect weak!!!

Great get away!

Very nice property - the private pool is really nice to have! And the golf cart was very helpful in getting around to the beach (but it's not that far to walk). Clean, comfortable, nice neighborhood. Would definitely return to this location.

Close to beach

This is a great property close to the beach. We really liked the pool and the golf cart was very convenient. The property owners were responsive with any questions we had. Will likely stay with them again!

Great family vacay spot

This was our second time staying at By the Pond and although our trip was cut short by the weather we still love it there and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future. The house has everything you need and loads of space. The location is perfect. Close to the beach and a quick drive to Murrell's Inlet if you want to venture out for some great restaurants in the evening. Love the convenience of taking the golf cart to Benjamin's to grab a coffee and some delicious breakfast in the morning. And the pond right outside has so many turtles! Kathy and Steve are great and always checking in to make sure you have everything you need. Highly recommend staying here!!

Labor Day Getaway

Charming ground floor cottage in great location. The included linens and golf cart were wonderful bonus. The pond with turtles was big hit with kids as well as playground in sight of house and pool. Lots of chairs and places to sit and relax. We had great trip.

Excellent rental

The house was perfect for us. Very very clean and stocked with needed items. Amenities such as beach chairs, ping pong table, golf cart, and private pool were used all week. Nice quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this house!!

Great vacation rental

We thoroughly enjoyed this deceptively large beach house. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the home and the layout. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and it was nice to have the outdoor showers to wash the sand away. We really liked the golf cart very handy to take o the beach. We were quite pleased with this home and would rent it again.

FAMILY VACATION

Steve & Kathy, we have stayed many years in Surfside Beach and this has been the best yet. The house was perfect for us. It was just as it was described. We loved the golf cart, getting ice cream almost daily. The pool was great. We can't wait until next year.

Amazing House and Location

We had a magnificent stay at this home. We came down for a softball tournament and the pool was great to just hop right into after a long hot day at the fields. The golf cart was a huge hit and made getting around simple . What I really liked was that the beach stuff was supplied for you. We hope to rent this house again when we come back to Surfside.

A very comfortable stay

We have stayed a number of times and have always had a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The bed in the master bedroom is still very comfortable, and we rest well in it every time. The golf cart is very convenient to hop in and have a quick ride to the beach. The turtles are still fun to watch and feed at times. The house is pretty well maintained and provides a comfortable experience for each visit. Steve and Kathy are the easiest to book with from the beginning to the end.

You won't be disappointed!

My family loved this house. Location was great, house beautifully decorated. This house has a huge back yard and the house came with a golf cart, beach chairs, and boogie boards. The kids loved the pool! Owners easy to work with! House is definitely worth the price!

Best location in Myrtle Beach area. Family friendly with little noise and traffic, but convenient to everything. Our home is on one of the nicest lots in Surfside Beach near the ocean. We also have a golf cart available for our guests along with our nice private swimming pool.

Beautiful setting with water view of pond and close to the ocean. Enjoy watching wildlife and turtles in the pond. Park located across the water from the home offering slides, children play items, park benches,horseshoes, and boccie ball. Home also has numerous decks to sit on and relax. Interior of home is all one level with a calming, nicely decorated atmosphere. Built as a home for us to enjoy, not for being a rental property.
