With two bedrooms and a full bath, the Swallow Falls Cabin #3 provides comfort and simplicity. Enjoy some quality time with the little ones at the shared play area or stay in and cozy up by the fireplace. Just a short drive from the stunning landscapes of Swallow Falls State Park and Herrington Manor State Park, this home blends nature with modern comfort. The surrounding area boasts breathtaking waterfalls and scenic hiking trails. Whether you're into hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying the great outdoors, you'll find ample opportunities for adventure and relaxation. This home is not pet-friendly (undisclosed pet fee will be charged at 3x advertised pet fee) Max. parking spaces: 2

IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old. Check-In is between 4 pm – 9 pm. Check-Out is by 10 am. Smoking/Vaping, Parties, Exceeding Max Occupancy or Pet Limit are not allowed.

WHAT TO BRING: Supplies are not provided; plan to bring all paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, household items, supplies and extra towels, if necessary. (Bed Sheets, Bath Towels, and Dishes are provided for max occupancy.)

WINTER RESERVATIONS: A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS: (1) At time of booking- Electronically Sign the Rental Agreement to trigger your door codes and Pre-Arrival Information to be automatically sent. Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement. (2) One day prior to arrival- You will receive Pre-Arrival Information that contains your door lock code, address and other important info. [If you do not receive it by noon that day, check your spam folder. If you still don't see it please call us directly to ensure a smooth check-in].

A great Memorial Day weekend

We loved this home. It was very easy to get to. When checking in, we found everything to be clean and orderly. I noticed that the owners had updated things that had been listed as issues in prior reviews. The beds were very clean and comfy . There were plenty utilities for cooking . There is a mini split that kept us cool as the days were starting to get warm. We would definitely stay here again

Very close to Swallow Falls. Cabin still had some Christmas decorations out in April. Shower and stove are camper size. Nice weekend place but wouldnt stay for an entire week.

Swallow Falls

If you want a property close to two state parks close this is a good place to stay. You can get around without going thru the business area of Deep Creek, Also while there in the mornings we saw hawks, and in the evening we saw doe's with 5 fawns which still had their spots. Also, there is a trail within a very short walk which brings you to the river.

Lovely cabin, homey feel

I absolutely LOVED this cabin. The heating was needed as it was very cold, but getting there was a breeze. Only complaint is neither of the 2 doors locked, however we brought back up locks to work with. That is a big issue though, for anyone but especially as a woman. The place was very clean and stocked sufficiently. Will be back!

Great location

The property was well maintained and beautiful. We tried to ignite the gas fireplace, and it didn't work. Called the owners and never received a response. Other then that, it was perfect!

Perfect getaway

What an adorable little cabin. Everything was just perfect until my mom came to make up breakfast. The gas cook stove lit and then went out. The propane tank was empty. I called the 1-800 number, spoke with a Maria, told her what was going on, she said she could help me with that and then the phone hung up. I walked to the owners place and he quickly got it fixed. This is a great little place for a getaway!

Great for a family!

We took a short trip with our boys (3 and 1) and it was great! Just enough seclusion/privacy but close to the state parks. Our boys loved the little park at the property and being able to run free in the open area. Husband’s only complaint was the beds were short and shower tiny but he’s 6’4” and expects that when he travels (overall grateful for a bed and shower while “camping”). Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Great experience!

We had issues with the air conditioning not working properly but the owners called someone immediately and had it working quickly. Great cabin for my family of four. The owners told us a close location to fish and swim that was very private. We would rent again.

Cottage was small but perfect. Great location and has everything we needed.

Owner was right next door, which my feel a little close, but so nice and very helpful. The privacy fence made us feel like no one was around.

Cabin rental

Cabin was very clean and lots of stuff in the cupboards. It isn’t in the woods. There are woods behind it. It sits along the main road to Swallow Falls. Lots of traffic noise

Great cabin to get away from it all!

This cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a short getaway. The weather turned cold and we were grateful for the gas fireplace. Location is great if you like the outdoors. We would love to return.

Cabin in the woods

My husband and I decided to take a weekend trip away from life and this cabin was just perfect for that. I believe there were a total of 3-4 cabins that surrounded us, but it sure didn’t feel like it. Nights were quiet and cozy, which we adored. The cabin came equipped with firewood, a huge deck, free parking, and a cute little park right outside the back doors. The cons: no wifi(which is listed), no phone service (which wasn’t listed, and this didn't make us feel safe, especially being people of color in this area), and the bathroom was super tiny (it was hard to shower because bending over to wash wasn’t an option, I am a 5 foot tall woman and 120 pounds, struggling to shower comfortably). (In no way or form are the tips that I am including have anything to do with the actual cabin or booking, but more of an awareness for the area) Tips: if you book this cabin, make sure you are aware of directions on how to navigate around the area, there is no reception until you get on the main roads, and if you take the wrong turn (especially in the middle of the night) you do not have a lot of welcoming home owners. The people around there are rude and openly racist. Otherwise.. the cabin itself was great! My husband and I did not have any complications with the owners or neighbors.

Great getaway!

Everything we were looking for when we planned our friend getaway! Cabin was well taken care of and even was decorated for Christmas on the outside. Would recommend to anyone looking for a simple place to stay near Swallow Falls.

Great Location Near Swallow Falls!

Great location, within walking distance of Swallow Falls State Park. Nice, clean property. Tap water tasted funny, but it was probably b/c of water pump. It would be great if there were a hard copy of check-out instructions listed in the cabin b/c WiFi doesn't work.
