Ihanteellinen Beach House suurille perheille, Lemmikkiystävällisiä

Ihanteellinen perheen loma paikalla sijaitsee tunnin pohjoiseen Portland, Maine rauhallisessa Popham Beach. Liikkua meidän kolmikerroksinen, 120 vuotta vanha, komea Victorian, 100 metrin päässä rannasta. Aidattu-in pihalla, seulotaan-in takakuistilla, kaksi perhehuonetta joissa kaikissa on TV, pelihuone, vanha piano, neljä queen-size-vuodetta, yksi täysi, kolme kaksoset, ja yksi vauvan sänky ja useita ranta tuolit.

Erittäin vuokraaja ystävällinen kotiin kaikki mukavuudet mitä mahdollisesti haluavat ja tarvitsevat rauhallista lomaa. Uusi syö-keittiö, jossa on kaksi keittotasot, astianpesukone, kaksi jääkaappi ja runsaasti keittiö varastointi.

Aloita aamusi siemaillen kahvia yhdessä rokkarit suuri, wrap-around esiportaan tai ratkaista itse ihana keittiö erkkeri. Joko paikka on heti riippuvuutta! Anna ääni valtameren tuudittaa sinua uneen jälkeen kova päivä rannalla. Niin paljon tai niin vähän tekemistä, riippuen etusija. Popham Beach on tunnettu saada oman veren joten ole valmis!

Tarjoamme "off season" hinnat kesäkuussa, syyskuussa ja lokakuussa. Tämä on täydellinen paikka kolme tai neljä paria käyttää "pehmeä paikka pudota" ..... se on hiljainen, kaunis ja tarjoaa hieno tunnelma levätä ja rentoutua.

Our stay was amazing. Being with famiky and making memories is truly a gift. The house "The Pilot House" was perfect. We cooked, we laughed, we played indoor and outdoor games and we walked the beach.

This is our 4th time at the Pilot House, so we did not have to go on VRBO to rent it, we already had our foot in the door! A lovely old seaside place , perfect for our large family.

Traditional Family Trip

The location to the beach, the size of the house and being dog friendly was exactly what we were looking for. The memories we made in that short weekend were everlasting.

Excellent stay

The house couldn’t have been more well-equipped. Very comfortable. A kitchen one can really cook in, with more pans and utensils that we could use. Very clean. Excellent location. The fenced-in yard meant our dogs could enjoy the unseasonably warm weather outdoors, without being able to bolt.

The kitchen was big enough for all 9 of us to eat together. Very well stocked. It was great to be able to walk along the beach whenever the urge hit. Plenty of room for everyone. The front porch rockers were another favorite of everyone.

Stellar!

We have rented many places in the Phippsburg area over the last 10 years, and the Pilot House easily tops them all. The house is large, comfortable, impeccably maintained, tastefully decorated, and a lot of thought has clearly gone into every detail — from the small fans in every bedroom, to the well-equipped kitchen, to the assortment of beach chairs and toys. It’s a wonderful place to stay with children. Time slows down when enjoying coffee and company on the porch. And you’re steps away from Popham Beach, easily one of the best beaches in Maine. We have loved staying here and are looking forward to doing it again!

If your looking for a big place to stay that's close to the beach look no further. The Pilot house has it all. Owners supplied the house with everything you'll need to vacation at the beach. Beach chairs, towels, carts and games. Just bring your swim trunks and enjoy. It was truly a pleasure to stay here.

Wonderful Weekend at The Pilot House

My family and I stayed at the Pilot House for a weekend to celebrate my son’s college graduation! My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. The house itself is wonderful, plenty of room for everyone and beautifully decorated! The owner has great taste! We enjoyed gathering on the screened in back porch and large kitchen. The boys spent many hours playing ping pong and corn hole. A short walk brings you to beautiful Popham Beach. We saw lots of seals in the water at the fort, and took some long walks on the beach. Spinners is a short drive or walk, and serves great food. Highly recommend their seafood fettuccini Alfredo! If you are looking for a great place to stay in Maine, do not hesitate to stay here. We hope to be back in the future!

Fall weekend mini vacation

Our group of 11, including three small children, visited for a long weekend in October. The house worked very well for us; plenty of space. We loved the big front porch with plenty of seating and a swing. The adults were able to relax on the porch while the kids played in the fenced yard. We didn't need to get in our cars the entire weekend, just hung out at the beach and the house.

Great beach house!

We, six adults and two teenagers, spent a lovely week in the Pilot House. The house was fully equipped, nicely furnished and very clean. The location, just off of the beach on the Kennebec River was wonderful. A short walk to a private path led to the beach. I, as a fisherman, and the other guests, loved the ease of access to the beach for sunbathing, walks, drift wood art, dog walking and the beautiful views of West Point, Wood and Pond Islands and the mouth of the river. The kitchen was superbly equipped with everything necessary from gourmet meals to breakfast. The house is informal but very comfortable. The fenced in yard was nicely maintained as were the flower and herb gardens. Our dogs loved the yard and we were happy they were in a secure fenced area. Our week was very hot, especially for Maine, but there were fans in every bedroom and a whole house fan as well. We loved the wrap around porch, the library, the screened in back porch and the game room. The owner couldn't have been nicer to deal with. I have rented properties here, in the Caribbean, and in Europe, and can say without hesitation that the Pilot House is one of my all time favorites.

Pilot House

This is an incredible vacation spot. Home was beautifully decorated, yet warm and welcoming for our group. The kitchen was fully equipped, beds were very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed - including 2 refrigerators and even a mini herb garden! The beach is just a 'stone's throw' away, and there was lots to do - boat rides, outlet shopping day, lobster boils, and long walks on the beach. Local grocer and eateries within walking distance too. We even attended church at the chapel on Sunday. Can't wait to come back - a wonderful escape!!

A Dreamy Getaway!

We stayed at the Pilot House for my birthday with a group of friends. I had never been to Maine and had high expectations on what I had heard from people who had visited. Well, I was not let down! The Pilot house is amazing! When you drive up, it looks like something out of a storybook! It is beautiful and cozy all at the same time! The beds are so comfy and the view from our upstairs bedroom was so pretty. We enjoyed our short walks to the beach and down to Percy's for ice cream and crab quesadillas. We went out on a boat and toured the waterway...seeing seals, osprey and light houses! What a quintessential view of Maine! The highlight of our trip was Sunday morning sitting out on the front porch with our coffee and hearing the church bells ring for the service. We all walked the short distance to the quaint Popham Chapel. We were greated with smiles from the locals and a guest appearance by a pianist that had studied at Juilliard. Afterwards we went to the church hall for coffee and home cooked treats. Wow, what an amazing trip! We will be talking about the memories we took from the Pilot House for many years to come!!

Piece of Paradise

This is our 3rd year of staying at the Pilot House and every year gets better. The house is perfect for a couple of families and extra kid's. The house has a great floor plan with plenty of space for everyone. It is beautiful, warm and welcoming and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The beach is beautiful with wonderful views. And Percey's right around the corner is fun for lunch or just ice cream after a lobster dinner. It is truly a place to get away and relax. It is a place we look forward to going each summer, we love it!

The Dales love Popham!

THis is the most charming, well equipped rental we have ever been to. The owners have taken great care to stock the house with everything we could ever need. It was sparkling clean when we arrived. We are familiar with the area and were so glad to have found this house which filled all our needs. Three generations fit in perfectly and we had a great great time.

Miane Charmer

This house is perfect for family reunions or large groups. It has an authentic New England charm with all the modern conviences such as new dishwasher, cooktop stove and two refridgerators. It is a few steps away from the water and was very convient to the little picturesque town of Popham. We loved walking to the 'local' convience store to get an ice cream or a fresh lobster! The pictures do not do this property justice as its coziness and charm are New England at its best. The owner has decorated it to be both cute and comfortable with each bedroom having a distinct charm, I especially liked the nautical themed bedroom upstairs for the kids complete with teddy bears. It was especially nice not to have to bring our own sheets and towels as the owner supplied an abudance of both. She also has lots of beach chairs and toys. We intend to rent this again, it's a real winner!
