The location of the house and its setting were one of the biggest draws for us when buying the home. It is nestled into the woods down a dirt road, sitting with a view of a pond below. We are only 6 miles from the ski resort and 1-3 miles from all of the amenities that the Stowe Mountain Road and Historic Village offer. You feel like you're worlds away from it all but you're just a hop skip and jump away from everything. On certain Summer evenings as well as NYE our dining room and deck area offers a front row seat to a seemingly private fireworks show that the Trapp Family Lodge puts on.... it's a very special treat.

Aside from the bucolic setting and great proximity to everything in the town of Stowe we love to host guests with pets. The home is a fantastic spot to gather your family, friends, and 4 legged family members while on adventure to the town of Stowe. There is a very special feel in the great room of the home which opens up to the large deck... just a lovely space to gather all together.
