Exuma Sea La Vie (Cottage 29): Beachfront / Oceanfront villa with beautiful views of the ocean, beach and sunrise that are just steps from the front door. The beach in front of the villa is white and sandy overlooking Elizabeth Harbour, with relatively calm waters protected by picturesque Stocking Island where stunning views are a given and goosebumps are guaranteed.

Located within the Hideaways at Palm Bay Beach Club, Great Exuma Bahamas. Guests enjoy complete access to the resort amenities including a swimming pool with a view, small gym, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boats, game room and recreation center, free parking across the street, concierge services of the front desk and complimentary shuttle to/from Georgetown. Restaurant on-site Splash Bar & Grill and also nearby within a short walking distance is Augusta Bay, Frankie Bananas and the Fish Fry. Just minutes from the conveniences of downtown George Town.

Getting Here: Great Exuma International Airport (GGT) is just a 40-minute flight from Miami, and you can sink your toes into deserted, serene, white sand beaches. GGT is easily accessible on direct flights from Nassau, Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, and Toronto, Canada. Customs are a breeze, and Exuma Sea La Vie is about a ten-minute drive away (7 miles).

We were to arrive during the Melissa hurricane . Host was great responding and keeping us updated. Once we finally arrived it was perfect. View was awesome, people were friendly everywhere. Our unit was absolutely as described. It was clean, stocked with essentials and beyond, the view was stunning and Kim answered all my questions and concerns within minutes. It was relaxing to watch the sun rise in the mornings. There was coffee pods in the fridge and spices in the cabinet. There was bottles of insect repellent in a basket that we were very thankful for.

Fantastic location and view!

We couldn’t be happier with Exuma Sea La Vie for our family of 4! The location at the Hideaways property was absolutely fantastic with an amazing view and direct access to the beach as well as the overall location of Hideaways in Exuma - close to restaurants, frequent shuttle service to Georgetown and awesome amenities. The inside was equipped with everything you needed as well as some extra things like beach towels, inflatables and some extra sunscreen / bug spray just in case you run out! We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Amazing

We loved our stay in this Villa. Jim and Kim were absolutely amazing and so very helpful planning our first family vacation to Exuma. Their place is stunning, and the view is incredible. Everything you need or want they have. Location is perfect. My boys enjoyed snorkeling and saw stingrays, starfish, sea turtle and a shark. I would highly recommend! Not to mention our flight was cancelled and we were able to extend our stay. 10/10 would stay here again!

Perfectly stocked!

We have stayed in this villa in the past when owned by someone else. The new owners have done amazing upgrades! The villa is well stocked, even thinking of things like an inflator for the included pool rafts. Didnt even have to take beach towels! Owners were easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. We love the location and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! We could not ask for a better experience. Sea La Vie is perfect - everything you could possibly need is there. So comfortable and easy and in the best location on the island. We loved Splash-a great perk to have a restaurant onsite. From the time we booked until we arrived back home - Jim and Kim were super responsive and helpful and offered up so much information and extremely accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental - I would say, don't even think about it - just book it! You will not be disappointed. Jolly Hall Beach that's within walking distance was really our favorite beach of all the beaches we visited. Exuma is beautiful, the locals are so nice and helpful and our little home away from home was perfect. I cannot say enough about our amazing vacation and our stay. Thanks to Jim and Kim for everything - you were such a contributor to our lifelong Exuma memories and we will be back! Until next time...

WOW! Stay here.

First off hats off to the owners for providing everything you could possibly need to enjoy your trip. The beach chairs and umbrella were so needed for going to see the other beautiful beaches on the island. Unit was well taken care of, clean, and the view was breath taking. Perfect for my wife and I and our 8 month old baby. The unit being on the beach made having a baby so easy, we could lay out while he napped (with our baby monitor) and enjoy ourselves. All the cookware we could need they had. And Hideaways proximity to George Town and Smitty’s Grocery made grocery runs quick so you can spend your time at the beach. Property owners were very responsive and helpful getting us set up with a pack n play and high chair. Be sure to do the walk along the beach to Jolly Hall. We will be back for sure!

Slice of paradise

We had a wonderful week at Sea La Vie! This was the perfect vacation spot for us. Located in the Hideaways property right on the beach! Cottage has everything you need, including spectacular sunrise views! We snorkeled offshore with stingrays, starfish and sea turtles. Thanks to our hosts for their hospitality, Janetta, the housekeeper, for stocking our groceries and Wade, the Hideaways property manager, for his assistance. Also, Cindy, front desk, for the Meet & Greet and the courtesy shuttle drivers for transportation. Everyone at the resort was so friendly and helpful. We are frequent travelers and this lovely Exuma property is one of the best places we have visited. Highly recommend!

Perfect size, beautiful view, can walk to Jolly Hall beach if it’s too windy to sit out on deck. Jim and Kim are perfect hosts. They go above and beyond to accommodate every need. Far Exceeded our Expectations!!

Simply put, our best vacation ever! It started with amazing accommodations and wonderful hosts, who proactively provided us with everything we could possibly need to travel to this amazing country for the very first time. Stunning

We loved our stay here and we would highly recommend it. Being beach front was amazing and being able to walk to a variety of restaurants was very convenient. The cabin has been freshly updated with a new bed and a nice tv. Our adult son comfortably slept on the pullout bed in the living room and having 2 bathrooms was perfect. People at the resort are very friendly and we had a lot of fun.

Expectations met!

You will not be disappointed renting this unit. Kim is wonderful to work with if you happen to have an issue. The unit is well appointed, clean and great location. The Splash bar/restaurant on property is very handy after a long day exploring the island. The staff on property was wonderful to work with as well. The only unit that I saw with a foot bath by the front door to rinse sand before entering. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Beachfront Paradise

Kim and Jim are amazing hosts! They provided excellent information about the property and stayed in regular contact to make sure we had everything we needed. The brachfront location is spectacular! We had stayed at this property under the previous owner, and we are very impressed with the upgrades and enhancements Kim and Jim made to the cottage. It looks great, is exceptionally clean, and included many thoughtful touches and lots of storage options. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again!

So relaxing - and centrally located

Tranquility was the perfect spot to stay for me, my wife and daughter. My daughters wish for the trip was beaches, relaxing, shopping, and animal encounters. With our excursion with Exuma Water Sports (30 mins west) we checked off swimming pigs and feeding the iguanas. We were able to walk from the villa to two amazing beaches (highly recommend Jolly Hall beach) and <5 min drive to see sea turtles (Hoopers Bay). We were a short drive to Georgetown for shopping. And having the Splash bar and grille on property was very convenient. The resort had a relaxing pool, as well as kayaks/standup paddle boards to use free of charge. We were steps from the beach (felt very private) which allowed us to snorkel at any time. Great sunrises as well. The villa itself was very clean and comfortable for the three of us, and my daughter even chose to use the murphy bed, which she said was more comfortable than she thought it would be (high praise from her!!). Having the extra bathroom was key. The property managers provided a ton of info on local shops/restaurants, and places of interest. They were an easy WhatsApp text away and very quick to respond with help. I appreciate them making this villa available to use, we hope to make it back.

Amazing location and amenities!

We had an incredible time visiting Exuma. The villa was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook and prepare meals. Having a restaurant on property was convenient too. We utilized the shuttle to Georgetown several times and the resort staff were always so helpful and accommodating. The villa sits right on the beach. The view from it is incredible. Jolly Hall beach (one of our favorites) was a short walk away. The Hideaways resort has a pool which our kids enjoyed daily and we also explored the area using the provided kayaks. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The first time we visited was in December of 2019 we immediately fell in love with the island and the people that live there, so much so that we visited three more times before purchasing our own little piece of paradise in September 2024. Our experience each time has been truly amazing and we are spoiled by the serene beauty of Exuma!
