Viehättävä rantahotelli Chathamissa

Erittäin yksityinen järviranta, josta on upeat näkymät ja paljon charmia. Se oli alkuperäinen Chathamin kaupungin jäätalo. Nykyisten omistajien perheen kesäkoti vuodesta 1970. Upea paikka perhejuhlia. Lähellä paikallisia rantoja ja keskustaa.

Tämä koti nukkuu mukavasti 11. Siellä on 5 makuuhuonetta, 3 olohuonetta, 3 kylpyhuonetta ja ulkosuihku. Mukana täydellinen keittiö ja ruokasali, joka sopii erinomaisesti perheen illallisille. Siellä on 2 kaunista kannet ja patio, jossa voit nauttia lämpimästä auringosta päivällä ja kauniista auringonlaskuista yöllä.

On oma ranta, josta pääsee suoraan järvelle kelluvalla laiturilla. Meillä on kanootti, kajakki ja kaksi meloa. Järvi on täydellinen uinti ja uinti koko päivän. Asetus on niin rauhallinen, et koskaan halua lähteä!

Outside areas are wonderful, especially in the back along the pond. Very peaceful. The decks, the gas firepit, the dock, all wonderful. We also enjoyed the generous indoor spaces, with 3 living areas to spread out in.

Great Place

Our whole family loves this location on Lovers Lake. Something for everyone : Lake, Cape beaches, good shopping , bike trails, good restaurants. House is comfortable and very well equipped. Thanks Myra for our second vacation at the Ice House.

Charming on Lovers Lake

Our family enjoyed staying at this home. Waking every day to the lake view was so beautiful. House has multiple areas for family to hang out. Very quaint. Enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Lots of fish caught. Chatham is a beautiful town. We made lots of memories and can’t wait to return! Communication with house manager was quick and effective. Overall was an amazing stay!

Relaxing Stay

Our stay was so relaxing. What a great view! The house was very clean and had so many rooms to sit around and relax with family. Very convenient to downtown Chatham. The kids had so much on the lake to stay entertained. It was great for fishing and swimming. We will definitely be back to enjoy again.!

incredible family vacation in Chatham by Lovers Lake

This home had everything and more one could ask for my family of 10 The location on the lake was magical and the home was equally amazing. We all had plenty of room for meals, entertainment and the use of a kayak, paddle board and canoe for the lake with life jackets for the grandkids 8 and under.. In spite of the cost, the memories we made are worth every penny. I would highly recommend this property hosted by Myra to everyone.

picturesque chatham home

We had a lovely stay in Myra’s home~ The Ice House. The owner Myra was very attentive & very easy to communicate with. The home had a picturesque backyard. Every morning we looked forward to sitting out back and looking at the lake, while the kids fished (and caught soooo many fish). Canoeing and paddle boarding in the lake was very peaceful. The home was equipped with everything we needed and gave the true Cape Cod experience. Our family created so many memories at this home and we hope to make it a yearly family vacation! Highly recommend staying here and creating your own family memories! Thank you again Myra for opening your home to us! ~ The Carbone Family

September weekend

The good first: Lots of sitting areas inside and outside first floor. The setting on the lake is really beautiful and peaceful. The bad: 2nd floor of house is 4 bedrooms, only one of which is spacious. Just one very small, crammed bathroom for 4 bedrooms was not good. Stairwell definitely doesn't meet code and you have to walk sideways up and downstairs, so not good for older people. Downstairs the cushions on some of the chairs are stained and need replacement. I guess I should have read more about the fact that it's the old Ice House and REALLY old. Shower in downstairs bath only runs hot water, cold handle is frozen so you can't use it. I give it 5 stars because of the setting and ample room to spread out. We still had a wonderful time. Owner is very responsive.

Excellent Vacation House

We just returned from our stay at Myra's home in Chatham. We had a glorious week on the Cape. The house was perfect for my family of 6 adults and 4 children (5, 2, 2, 6mo) . Plenty of room for everyone. We especially enjoyed having our own private beach on Lover's Lake. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and the kids loved jumping off the dock and feeding the fish. There is no lack of outdoor seating and dining areas especially great for viewing the sunsets. The mid-Cape location is close to anything your heart desires. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Myra for sharing you wonderful home with us.

Better than expected

Stairs are the only problem with this beautiful place, both outside and inside, which made it a bit of a challenge for the three octogenarians. Otherwise we all were delighted. The sunsets are spectacular. The outdoor spaces a delight. The interior is spacious and well furnished and decorated. Bathrooms are tight and only one upstairs with four bedrooms but the showers were good. The waterfront is lovely.

This place is a gem!

Thank you Myra! Very accurate description - loads of room and the lake front is awesome!! We brought our own paddle boards and paddled multiple times a day!! We almost never left but easy access to beach and downtown. Can’t wait to return 😊

Love the view of the lake

This house had stunning views and was perfect for a extended family vacation. The kids loved fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. The house had plenty of room so kids could have their own areas to hang out together. We had a great family vacation. Thank you!

Perfect lakeside getaway for a large group

We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week at the Ice House. Our host, Myra, was incredibly responsive to our questions. The property has plenty of indoor and outdoor space to accommodate a large group. At any one time, we had family members paddling on the lake, others fishing from the dock and the rest relaxing on the various decks and outdoor seating areas — ideal for a multigenerational group. The property offers amazing water views with an ideal location from which to explore Chatham. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Spot on the Lake

My extended family had an amazing week at this Lake House. It was peaceful and tranquil with great sunsets everyday. We had fun fishing, paddleboarding, and kayaking out on the lake. The house was very comfortable, clean, and had so many amenities to make us feel at home.

Beautiful spot!

It is a great spot, everything is right there, you don't need to go anyplace. We loved the kayaking, paddling and fishing. Sunsets were beautiful, eating outdoors watching the sunset was a definitely highlight.

Family vacation 2020

Our stay at The Ice House exceeded our expectations! The house is perfect for a large family get together. We enjoyed relaxing by the Lake and spending much needed down time! Myra was attentive to every detail, and was always available to answer a question. The house has a lot of charm and is well maintained and clean. The grounds are beautiful with a picture perfect view! We enjoyed every minute of our stay!! We have already recommended this house to others.

Chatham Ice House - Great for Family Get Together

The property was amazing! The house inside and out is really well appointed - everything you need for your stay is there! Plenty of room for everyone to be together or to spread out. The lake is so much fun - paddle boarding, rafts, kayak etc. A quick ride to downtown Chatham and easy access to Ryder's Cove. A great spot to bring the family together!!!

A magical place for a family vacation. Enough room for everyone to spread out and have fun and relax

This was our third summer here and I hope to continue for many more summers. The house is large and comfortable. The grounds are inviting. My two grandchildren and their dog could not stay out of he lake. The five year old learned how to paddle board and feels he is now one of the group. The owners put a lot of effort into making the house and grounds as comfortable as possible. There is AC and fans if you need them. There are lots of places to sit and have dinner and do puzzles. There are three full baths and an outdoor shower.The bbq is wonderful and I just can’t rave enough about this spectacular place. I do hope to come back for many years to come.

We didn't want to leave!

We loved every minute of your house, didn't want to leave. People in town we're more than friendly and nice. Kids spent hours on the dock. We enjoyed baseball, we biked to beaches and town, and fell in love with Chatham.

Lovely home and amazing location!

Six of us (all adults) stayed here in September for 10 days - there were plenty of rooms/bathrooms so we were not falling over each other when the weather turned bad! The house is very well equipped and feels (as it is) a real home rather than a sterile rental property. We loved the pond and swam every day as well as kayaking and paddle boarding on the better days. We also headed to the nearby beach one day for some body-boarding. Chatham is a short drive away and we also walked into town a few times but preferred cooking in and making the most of the house. Highly recommended.
