Ainutlaatuinen ja tÀysin yksityinen nykyaikainen talo, joka sijaitsee 3 hehtaarin tuulen rinteessÀ, josta on upeat nÀkymÀt ja oma uima-allas, lintujen tarkkailuparatiisi, ihanteellinen paikka Cayo-alueen tutkimiseen. 2 isoa makuuhuonetta ja yksi pieni, 2 kylpyhuonetta, 3 isoa kannet ja sisÀpuutarha. KÀtevÀsti vain 2 mailin pÀÀssÀ ekologisen matkailun keskuskeskuksesta (San Ignacio), mutta tuntuu kaukana. ErittÀin korkeat katot, ristikkÀin tuuletetut huoneet, riippumatot, lepotuoleja, puutarhapolkuja kÀvelylle aivan ulkopuolella jne.

The house was beautiful. The view as soon as you walk in the front door was better than the pictures could do justice. Communication was a 10 on a 5 scale. I cant say enough about how fast, informative and amazing all communication was.

This was an amazingly beautiful and overall comfortable home in Santa Elena, Belize. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the bedding was soft. The home was clean and secure.The only disappointment was when I read "ac" in the description, I presumed more of the home would have ac. The only ac was in a small bedroom that had a double bed. Overall, the home is very open and a constant breeze kept it mostly comfortable.I would stay here again for sure!

Great Stay in Cayo District

Our family had a great time during our spring break. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for our day trips to the ATM cave, Mayan ruins in Belize, and visiting Tikal. The host was great and met us on arrival and was there for check out. You should also consider arranging for the arrival dinner. It was really good and made for a relaxing first night.the gardens were beautiful, well maintained and the kids loved the pool.

The house was incredible. The property was perfection. The host was responsive, and Consuela is the most lovely human! Make sure you arrange to have Consuela cook - it was one of our very favorite experiences during our few days in Santa Elena. I hope we will be back someday!

Wonderful Stay

The property was beautiful, clean and well kept. The view is amazing and the property owner is extremely helpful and communicative. We used the owners cook and recommended tour guide as well and both could not have been better. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic home!

Gorgeous home and grounds. Katia is super helpful and responsive. The only issue we had was that the new girl they were training didn’t provide us all the information she should have during check in. Katia was quick to help out when we needed it, though.

Gorgeous home

We had a great 3 nights in Santa Elena. The home was perfect for us, three teenage boys, my husband and I. Katia had great communication, made excellent recommendations for some fun adventures while we were there. Consuelo cooked us a delicious Christmas dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal, eating on the veranda with a beautiful view overlooking the hills. So pretty! The home is a great location for adventures around San Ignacio and an excellent place to retreat to after a busy day. Comfy beds, hot showers, hammocks everywhere, just sit back and relax:)

Hillview House

This house in Santa Elena is so cool! Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights. The house itself is well maintained, very spacious and clean. The views around the property are gorgeous and the surroundings are lush and so peaceful. We had Consuelo cook for us one nights and it was the best as she prepared food and cleaned up everything after. We got to relax after a long day. And Consuelo is so sweet and helpful. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

Postcard View

We loved our time at this property. It’s beautifully maintained, and it’s clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought into both the home’s design and the surrounding grounds. Everything felt intentional and welcoming.The setting is incredibly serene, truly a peaceful escape. The only sounds we heard were neighboring goats, roosters, turkeys, and the songs of tropical birds. Combined with the stunning views and the relaxing pool, the whole experience felt like stepping into a postcard.By far, the highlight of our stay was Consuelo. She is unbelievably kind and helpful, and she made us our favorite meal of the entire trip. I’ve never been excited about tortillas and beans until I had Consuelo’s. I can’t recommend the welcome dinner enough.Katia, the owner, was also wonderful. Very accommodating and responsive. She graciously allowed us to drop off our bags early on the first day and helped us out when I forgot to send in our dinner order.The only downside was that the master bedroom didn’t have air conditioning. This made the first night uncomfortable for me, but I quickly adjusted.Overall, we had a lovely experience and would absolutely recommend staying here.

Fantastic Stay

Beautiful home with an amazing view. The home was clean and plenty of room for our family of five. We loved spending time in the pool after long hot days doing adventures. We had a delicious meal cooked by the property manager and the owner went above beyond aiding us in getting a left sweatshirt. Will definitely stay at this magical home again.

Base for touring the Belize jungle and ruins

Awesome stay. We really enjoyed the location and awesome view which is above the jungle outside of Santa Elena. We felt a part of the community. The pool is awesome and the wildlife viewing is great from the patio and pool area. Katia and her entire staff of workers were great as well.

Amazing home base for the Cayo

This is a very nice home in a beautiful location. We stayed here for a week while exploring the Cayo. The view from the deck in amazing. The pool was a nice to cool off in during the really hot afternoons. The host, Consuelo, was great and we had her cook dinner twice at the house (I highly recommend it).

what an amazing find!

We just loved our time in this beautiful home. Tons of space, completely surrounded by nature, well equipped home, brilliantly designed to take advantage of the breeze, a refreshing pool to dip in, dark sky for stargazing, perfect view of the sunset and sunrise, tucans in the trees during sunrise, comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, lots of towels, and the host is a wealth of knowledge on the area and super responsive! We highly recommend!

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning hilltop rental property with breezy breathtaking panoramic views and a luxurious pool. This modern home exceeded all expectations, providing a truly unforgettable experience. The property manager, Consuelo, was exceptional, ensuring our stay was flawless. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail were remarkable. To top it off, Consuelo treated us to a delectable homemade meal one evening, which was both delicious and reasonably priced. Just gorgeous!

This property was just amazing! The layout was perfect for our family
we like to spread out and there was plenty of room to do that. With the bedrooms on either end of the house, we all met in the middle for meals and to enjoy the incredible view from the back. We cook a lot, and the house had everything we needed. We just wished we were staying longer to enjoy more of the view, but we had so many things planned. Don’t miss the Iguana Conservancy and the VIP tour at the Raptor Center is a can’t-miss! AJAW Chocolate in town was super fun and educational. We love supporting the local community! Thank you, Katia, for being an incredible host!

Wonderful home, great location for jungles, caves, ruins.

This home is gorgeous, peaceful and spacious. The grounds are immaculately cared for with lovely walking paths. The back deck and pool overlook the back yard. We saw toucans every morning in addition to squirrels, lizards and other cool birds. The kitchen has all the basics; salt, coffee, dishes. The driveway and roads leading to the property are awful. Ruts, holes, etc. but part of the adventure that is Belize. No kidding though, worst we encountered anywhere in Belize. I strongly recommend this property to anyone! We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Gem hidden in the hills!

We had an amazing stay in Santa Elena. This house and property are very well stocked and kept. It’s a beautiful property that’s is a bit out of the way but definitely worth the effort. The breezy porch is perfect for morning coffee. A note about the swimming pool, it was too cold for our liking. Perhaps because we are northerners and used to heated pools. We had Consuelo prepare a meal for our arrival, including a cake from a local bakery that she picked up for us. This was for a birthday and was fabulous!! I can not praise Consuelo enough. She greeted us on our arrival and explained everything and was there for our departure. We definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful mountain retreat

Katia and Consuelo were great hosts. We traveled with our kids aged 4 and 6 and they absolutely loved everything. The house was clean and as described. The pool was fantastic. It was clean and went from about 2 feet deep to about 6 feet allowing the 4 year old to really improve his swimming. Lots of nearby activities kids can do including cave tubing. The house was ready for kids and had toys already there. Three cement floors were great because we didn't need to worry admit kids tracking in pool water. The outdoor dining room was great also. Afternoon and overnight breezes made sleeping with fans and the sounds of nature pleasant. There is a bedroom with AC if you really need it, but we didn't find it necessary. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hilltop home

Everything about our stay was amazing! Katia is a highly responsive communicator and helpful resource, and the housekeeper, Consuelo, well let's just say I wanted to see if I could convince her to come home with us permanently! She was so kind-hearted and made us the most delectable meal. The views and yard are breathtaking (we saw toucans from the porch most nights!), the pool was a hit with the kids, we enjoyed the multiple hammocks, and the home's overall aesthetics were wonderful. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We were here during dry season and had no problem getting up the hill without 4 wheel drive, but I bet that would be different during the wet season. The property description clearly says this, but keep in mind that only 1 bedroom has a/c. We happened to be here during a HOT week, and ended up moving a couple of extra mattresses into the bedroom with a/c because sleeping without a/c was next to impossible. The house is designed to have excellent crosswinds coming through which would be more than sufficient to cooling purposes in all but the hottest weather (which we had). All in all, it was a fabulous stay and we already miss the property!

Come for a Long-term Stay

This property is suitable for a stay of any length but is particularly enjoyable for a long stay. The view is glorious and ever-changing and just when you think it could not look more beautiful, the toucans will fly over the house and pose in the tree in front of you, the pool is perfect for a "chill" day and kept meticulously clean by the seemingly invisible caretakers, and the housekeeper comes twice a week to change linens and clean - and if you ask her in advance, she will cook you delicious Belizean peasant food that is perfect when you feel like a night in. The linens are good quality, towels are available in abundance, and the wi-fi works without failure. The property has excellent security features and is beautifully landscaped but most importantly, it is 5 minutes to town where an abundance of good restaurants of all types are available. From the usual seafood and steak houses to lebanese, indian, Belizean, and great brunch. Plus excellent street food. Most importantly of all, the property manager Katia will actively support your vacation success. She accommodated date changes, listened to my hobby list and suggested activities and places, and double-checked that we were comfortable and looked after. You could not ask for better hospitality. Stay here - you will enjoy it immensely!!

Paradise on top of the hill

We had a wonderful stay at Katia's property! The house was beautiful and the pool and the view were outstanding. We had everything we needed and communication with Katia and the other staff was excellent. My only complaint is that only one of the three bedrooms has AC, and when we were there it was HOT (consistently in the high 30s/40+ degrees C), so sleeping at night in the non-airconditioned bedrooms was quite warm - but opening the windows and putting the fans on did help. We would definitely stay again and recommend Katia's house to others looking for a well located, beautiful and peaceful retreat. Thanks! Carly

The property sets on the top of a breezy hill with a majestic view we never get tired of looking at. It offers the privacy and intimacy of a resort while not being too isolated and close to the groceries store and bustling village life. In fact, we were not the first one to find this location as a premium spot, while building the foundations of the house, we found 2 ancient Mayan foundations laying one on top of another. We believe it is a great property for those who go for the car rental option, preferably a SUV, either in San Ignacio or Belize City and explore the area at their own rhythm without being bound to any schedule. The road access to the house is a dirt path, often bumpy, that gets muddy on rainy season. Inquire about drop-offs or pick-ups in town.

On days where everyone complains about heat and humidity and get to our place, they are always surprised by how much more comfortable and cooler it is up there. The locations is ideal : close to town with spectacular views but it feels like far away.
