What makes this place special? One of my favorite things is the famous boardwalk (âMalecĂłn de Naguaboâ) that skirts the shoreline. Youâre just a few minutesâ from cafĂ©s and seaside restaurants where fresh seafood is served while the sun sets.
And because itâs a working fishing village, youâll catch glimpses of real local life â boats landing their dayâs catch, friendly neighbors waving, and genuine smiles.
During the day, you can stroll the path, maybe stop at a small beach or walk out to the waterâs edge, then wander back for lunch at one of the local spots. By evening the boardwalk lights up, and the ambiance is easy and inviting â no rush, just good food, good company, and the kind of authentic island mood you came for.
