Description:
Great Pool area w/ heated hot tub & BBQs
*2-bedroom / 1 bath 2nd floor condo w/ some updates. Fully equipped kitchen
*King bed in master, 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedr, pull-out couch in living room.
*Gulfview I complex offers beach access about 1 block away
*High-speed Wi-Fi w/cable; Smart TVs
*Small private balcony
*Read & agree to all house rules before booking
The Space:
This 2nd floor condo features all tile floors. Gulfview I is great for families, offering a super large shallow pool and heated hot tub.
The condo has some updates, with a remodeled, fully equipped kitchen with all pots, pans, dishes etc for EZ family meal preps
While we allow up to 8 in this 2-bedroom, 1 full bath condo, it is more suitable for 6 but that is up to you. Families with young children are especially well suited to book this space.
You will find comfortable furniture, white quartz counters, and all new stainless appliances.
There are approximately 6 community charcoal BBQ pits by the pool and a nice veranda & shaded picnic tables. This is a very hard to find amenity, especially poolside! Located on the 2nd floor, you can avoid waiting for elevators (though one is available).
Gulfview I is the nicer of the two Gulfview complexes with a community center for playing cards and socializing in case of rain. This condo was updated and repainted last year.
It feels very homey and is fully functional for your family though not huge nor luxurious. Gulfview is an older complex. There is a full bathroom that serves guests well. While the patio doesn’t afford an amazing view, it is still nice to have private outside patio access.
We offer off-season discounts for stays of 3 or more nights from Sept 2 to Dec 20, and active-duty military discounts as well as tackle football coach specials. Please message us for details.
There are two coin-operated washers and dryers on the premise. The property is professionally managed by South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd on the Island 78597 open 7 days a week 9 am to 5 pm if you should need us. Door code is provided to the cell phone on file by 3 pm day of check in.
We provide a starter pack of basic soaps, dishwasher pods, and trash bags, though these are not unlimited or replenished so please plan accordingly. Sheets, pillowcases, hand towels, bath towels, and washcloths are all provided in the rate.
The "small fine print" – Gulfview I homeowners association can have many rules and fees.
Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 25 years of age or older to book and must be present at check-in. Contact us before booking if you are under 25—exceptions may be possible with additional requirements.
Please note that we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking. This is necessary to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. Please e-sign the rental agreement via DocuSign before arrival to receive your door code. Provide your email address and attach a photo of your ID, or upload it to messaging to verify your age. We provide a door code for entry by 3 pm the day of arrival to the cell phone on file.
Please contact us before booking with any questions about these stipulations, as we have a strict cancel policy. We fully disclose this prior to booking and require all guests to read and agree to all house rules
This property is value-priced due to the HOA requirements at Gulfview I regarding their plastic condo wristbands, which they use as a profit center and charge for if not returned. We want to inform you upfront.
Please understand that in March, there is a fee of $35 plus tax PER PERSON as well as during Easter week for these bands that is not refundable.
This fee goes to security at the property for the security wristband. We have no control over this, so please be prepared to pay and is for March only. The rest of the year, there is a required $150 condo security wristband fee that is returned to you if you leave the re usable wristbands in the condo once the stay is Completed. This property has 1 dedicated parking space included and use of the parking permit is required.
No pets allowed. Our short term South Padre Rental License can be provided upon request.
