Ultimate tranquility, privacy, and coziness! A gorgeous, rustic yet contemporary, post and beam home set amid green pastures, gardens, and forest, the Cottage offers thoroughly modern accommodations.
Our off-grid Cottage generates all of its own power from a novel microhydro system which is thoroughly environmentally-friendly. While relaxing off the grid, you can still choose to stay in touch with work or friends thanks to our high-speed fiber-optic 100 MPS internet with Wi-Fi throughout the Cottage.
Features: Two full bedrooms upstairs, one queen, one king; private bedroom on lower level next to family room, which has a large TV; queen futon in family room space. Radiant in-floor heat; Vermont Castings woodstove provides nice fireplace - plenty of wood furnished; hiking and XC trails abound in beautiful sugar maple forest. Three baths: one with tub and one with shower, one powder room. Washer and dryer. Visit the micro-hydro to see this novel renewable energy system. Beautiful wrap-around deck with sun chairs and Weber grill.
Property has perennial flower and vegetable gardens visited by birds and pollinators. Small pond next to the house hosts spring peepers, ducks, and other wildlife. Set on our private road, you can enjoy complete privacy where birdsong is the only sound.
Beautiful views of Vermont hills. Fall foliage is amazing.
Easy access to lakes, fishing streams, and cultural offerings in the Hanover, NH area.

Corinth Corners, our local area, is very rural area with unparalleled beaty and privacy. We live here on the same property too, yet are about 1/2 mile away.

Our microhydro system is an environmentally-friendly, highly reliable power source (leveraging gravity) that gives Song Sparrow Cottage with about 25KHrs clean power each day. We have solar PV backup for the summers when drought is prevalent.
