Chic retreat with a beautiful sea view
Welcome to our tranquil retreat in the heart of County Donegal.
The bright, spacious (over 500 sq ft) and beautifully decorated one-double-bedroom apartment is ideal for unwinding in the peaceful countryside.
Located ten minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, and twenty from Letterkenny, it's perfect for exploring the beaches of Fanad Head, the Glenveagh National Park and Mount Errigal.
The apartment is on the ground floor of the house and completely separate from our home above, with its own entrance.
It consists of a large, fully equipped kitchen, a bright, comfortable living room with superb views over the forest to the sea, and a cosy double bedroom, also facing the sea and with an en-suite bathroom.
Outside the kitchen, is a south-facing patio which gets the best of the sun and is ideal for a relaxed meal at the cafe-style table, surrounded by planters full of seasonal flowers.
Also, as far as we know, we are the only holiday apartment in Donegal with an environmental sustainability certification (certified by the compliance agency, Certitur).
Guests often comment about how beautiful the view is, how quiet our place is, and how well they slept, but the most common comment we hear is "I wish I could have stayed longer".
Come to surf, walk, climb, golf, swim, cycle, kayak, dive, fish… or simply to read, relax and re-energise.

Amongst the improvements that we implemented as part of our certification were:
- All our electricity comes from renewable sources
- The heating has a guest-controlled smart thermostat
- We recycle everything possible, including plastic, cans, paper and organic waste (compost).
- We support local artists by buying and displaying their work in the flat
