Experience Colorado Springs like a local in this 2-bedroom lower level duplex. The pleasant living room offers a brilliant sofa bed for extra guests. Both bedrooms feature beautiful queen beds for a restful night's sleep. Enjoy the convenience of a shower/tub combo, hair dryer, and WiFi during your stay. Welcome to the Pedal Place! This centrally located duplex is close to downtown yet in a quiet neighborhood situated right on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. You will have total privacy in this bottom unit home, with fully fenced side and front yards. Relax in the yard after a day of adventuring, kick back and enjoy streaming using the smart TV, then sleep comfortably as each bedroom has a queen size bed. Our hope is for you to have the most enjoyable and relaxing stay possible, and we have prepared the home so you will have everything you need while you are here. Living Room
Inside the front door, you'll find a cozy living room to sit back and relax after a long day of exploring. The living room boasts a smart television with streaming and local channel options. There is a comfortable sofa that can be converted to a full-sized bed. The living room also has lamps for reading, games to keep you entertained, and toys for the little ones.
Dining
This home features an open living/dining area so you won't miss out on any of the fun! The dining table has room for six so everyone can enjoy a meal together.
Kitchen
You will find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to cook meals during your stay. You will have tea, coffee, cream, and sugar available. The kitchen is also stocked with pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig, blender, and mixer. Salt, pepper and other spices are in the cabinets along with all the dishes you will need for a comfortable stay. Cleaning supplies and extra trash bags are under the sink.
Bedrooms
Queen beds in both bedrooms with high-quality bedding, plenty of pillows in varying firmness, and fresh linens for your comfort. There are room-darkening blinds for sleeping in while on vacation. The main bedroom has a lounge chair and desk for working remotely. Each room has a closet with hangers.
Bathroom
The bathroom features a bathtub/shower combo. We provide fresh towels, washcloths, hand towels, and makeup cloths as well as spa quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. We also provide cotton swabs, cotton rounds, and a few extra rolls of toilet paper. There is a hair dryer, plunger and toilet brush, and a small stepstool for your little ones (stored in the laundry room).
Laundry
Washer and dryer in the laundry room, stocked with complimentary laundry detergent, iron, ironing board, broom, dustpan and mop.
Outdoor
There is an inviting patio at the front entrance, table and chairs, and string lights that operate on a solar panel. The side yard is fenced and private, with comfortable chairs for relaxing after a day well spent.
Children
We have a variety of children’s items for your little ones. There are kids’ plates, food trays, bowls, and tumblers in the kitchen. There is a pack-n-play and highchair. There is a small step stool in the laundry room, and a basket of toys in the living room.
Business travel
We provide wifi and a workspace in the primary bedroom with a desk and lamp.
Guest Access
Guests will have exclusive access to the bottom level of the home and the fully fenced South side yard. A unique keycode will be sent to guests on the day of arrival.
Parking
The most convenient parking is in front of the home, on the street. There is also a parking option off the back alley; there is ample space and a designated space marked for your unit. Please use your side yard on the south side of the house when walking from the back alley parking to your entrance at the front of the home. *Please note, if there is snow forecast, and you don't have 4-wheel drive, parking in front is strongly recommended.*
Other Things to Note
There is another residence on the top level of this duplex. That unit has its own private fenced in yard and also may park in the back. The unit above is also a short-term rental. Although it isn't loud, you may hear them above. It's likely you won't see much of them, but we ask you to be as considerate as possible.
Additional fees: We have put so much work into making your stay perfect, and we value the time we have between guests to prepare for future guests. Please note that there are minimal fees for guaranteed early check ins or late check outs to cover the expenses of reworking the schedule or adding an additional cleaner to the schedule to accommodate your request. Please message us ahead of time for pricing.
Smoking in accordance with Colorado law is permitted outside on the patio. There is no smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside the home - loss of security deposit will occur.
