The house was absolutely perfect for our needs. However, after checking out the owner tried to bill us an additional 60 for “garbage in the garbage”. The extra “garbage” was boxes that we stacked neatly beside the trash bin because the listing indicated they had recycling available. The owner contacted us and said leaving them was the most disrespectful thing he had ever experienced. I apologized profusely and offered to immediately return to remove the boxes but he refused and instead billed us an additional amount. He also was upset because we moved his welcome signage to the bedroom because that was where my husband was working and needed the internet info. While I really loved the location I would only recommend staying there is you intend on taking all of your trash with you so you don’t receive a bad guest review or extra billing from VRBO.
