Perheparatiisi; Keinut, pelit, 5 minuuttia taivaalliseen gondoliin

Äskettäin uusittu koti rauhallisella asuinalueella South Lake Tahoe. Rakensimme tämän paikan uudelleen vuonna 2012 asennetuista vauvoista ja pystyimme mukauttamaan sen rentouttavalle vuoristolomalle mielessä. Nauti avoimesta ulkoasusta ja lasten / pelihuoneesta tai kahdesta suuresta kannesta, joista on näkymä metsäpalvelumaalle.

Se on uskomaton talo, mutta vielä parempi on sijainti. Vain yhden korttelin päässä Heavenly Kalifornian tukikohdasta. Kävele hiihtoon, käytä ilmaista hiihtobussia päästäksesi kasinoille ja kauppoihin, kahden minuutin ajomatkan tai halvalla taksilla melkein kaikkeen.


Kun etsit kotipesää täydelliselle Tahoe-lomallesi, monien asioiden tulisi olla vakiona. Kaunis puhdas sisustus ja huonekalut, keittiö, johon on ilo kerätä ja kokata, poreallas, grilli, Internet-yhteys ja kodin viihdevaihtoehdot. Sisään iso avokeittiö ja oleskelutila. Kaunis liuskekivilattia, täysin varustettu gourmet-keittiö ja HDTV kaasutakan yläpuolella. Lähetä lapset yläkerrassa suurelle taulu-näytölle Roku-peleillä ja streamilla, foozball-pöydällä tai pelialueella. Keitä illallinen grillaamalla tai liota kylpytynnyrissä kansista, joista on näkymä metsäpalvelumaalle.


Yläkerrassa on kaksi makuuhuonetta. Mestari king-vuoteella ja oma kylpyhuone ja valtava kansi ja toinen makuuhuone queen-vuoteella. Portaikkojen alareunassa on toinen makuuhuone, jossa on erillinen ovi kylpyhuoneeseen ja suora pääsy kannelle ja kylpytynnyriin. Kaikki pyyhkeesi ja liinavaatteet toimitetaan

Ruoanlaitto on täällä unelma. Keittiössä on leppäkaapit ja betonitiskit. Siellä on aivan uusia jääkaappilaitteita, kuten astianpesukone ja konvektio- / mikroaaltouuni. Olemme sisällyttäneet kaiken tarvitsemasi myrskyn leipomiseen tai keittämiseen. Siellä on vohvelirauta ja tehosekoitin herkullisten herkkujen piiskaamiseksi. Jos haluat tehdä ruoanlaittoa ulkopuolella, meillä on iso maakaasugrilli aivan oven ulkopuolella.

Rentoutuminen on helppoa viihtyisällä takalla ja pelillä sekä lukemalla. Foozball-pöytä on hauskaa. Meillä on johdotus viihteeseen 55 'ja 46' HDTV-laitteilla, joissa on höyryttävää sisältöä ja pelejä ja kaapeli-TV.

Maisemoimme pihan perheparatiisiksi. Pysy kotona ja pelaa leikkivälineellä, bocceball-kentällä ja tikkaapallolla. Ota kaunis Tahoe-sää kannelta tai porealtaalta.

Sijainti on avain ja tämä on mahtava. Keskustassa kaupungissa olet lähellä kaikkea. Love this place!!

This place was such a great house for my family! The kids absolutely loved the backyard! It also offered nice separation with a bed and bath downstairs and my hubby and I and the kids were upstairs. The location is beautiful! You are able to see heavenly mountain from the backyard. This backyard is the perfect spot to relax. It has a nice bbq deck, hot tub, swing set for kids, monkey ball and a bocce ball court. I definitely want to bring my family back to this wonderful family home!

Family friendly

We took our son and his family with us for our first vacation at Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed some hiking and sightseeing and a day at one of the beaches. It’s off season and with Covid there wasn’t much happening in the town, but we mostly just wanted a place to be together as family. We had a 4 year old and an 18 month old with us and the house had the child safety gates, booster seat and pack and play. The kids loved the play set in the backyard and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked all our own meals (covid again) and we were very comfortable with the house and the neighborhood . The owner answered our questions and we were very satisfied with this rental. Thanks Duggan.

We had a great time with our young adult kids! The property is walking distance to the base of the mountain where we rented our skis and left them there free of charge. The house was clean and very well equipped. We dined out but also cooked at home, there is no noise at all, I recommend this rental!! 😊

Can’t wait to come back!

This property suited our trip perfectly! Took a guys trip in early December to South Lake for some snowboarding and winter festivities. This house’s location was very convenient for us - easy to navigate, <5 min drive to Lake Tahoe Blvd, walking distance to Heavenly California lodge/lifts. Place was clean and orderly, outdoor patio area was great and would be perfect in summer for a family trip with kids! Comfy beds and the living room couch might be the most comfortable thing I’ve ever sat on (esp after a long day on the mountain)! Duggan communicated effectively and responded promptly to texts, although I only really texted him once on our last day to tell him we had a blast and were checking out. Overall, highly recommended and I plan to come stay here again in the future! Maybe a summer trip next....

Great location summer and winter

For skiers, you can't get any closer to Heavenly Ski Resort. For summer travelers, you are a short drive to the lake, casinos, shops and restaurants. Property is well laid out with a bathroom for each bedroom. Our family loved it and we will definitely come back.

Family Getaway Fun

We had a great time at this property. The layout was great for 6 adults and 2 kids. The swing set and games outside were a nice touch for everyone. The beds were comfy and the decor was nice. We loved walking to Himmel Haus for our last night and will remember this trip for a lifetime. Great house.

Great House! Fun Yard for Kids

Fantastic stay at Duggan’s house. Very clean and fit our large group very easily. The yard provided hours of fun snow play. It is very close to the HeavenlyCalifornia Lodge. Walkable for even a 3 year old in the snow. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot say I have ever been in a more thoughtful rental home. Stayed in a bunch over the years. Beautiful home utilizing space amazingly well. Lots of little touches in and outside the home with welcome basket, robes, tons of dishes , hot drinks of all variety, multiple viewing TV options, extra blankets. Working hot tub is alway an issues and yours was large, hot and clean! Even the baby gates/pack and plays are great and I have no wee ones :) Would be easy to stay here for weeks and really not need anything other than food. We are buying a ski home and I will take some lessons from you! Thanks for sharing your amazing place.

Incredibly well-stocked rental unit

Our stay with two families (5 adults) was great. Location is an easy walk to California Base Tram at Heavenly Ski area, even with ski boots on, in 4 ft of snow. Owner came out and cleared driveway each day there was heavy snowfall. Kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and utensils, even many common kitchen spices. Hot tub was perfect after a day skiing, and the closets held four heavy bathrobes for the walk around the deck to the hot tub. Certainly one of the most well outfitted rental units we've ever experienced in many years of VRBO. Would recommend it for anyone wanting to ski the Heavenly resort, and we will try to stay there again on our next visit to South Lake Tahoe.

Another Great Experience!

There was one foot of snow from the night before and I was preparing to dig out our car. By the time I came out, the drive way was already plowed and snow was brushed off my car...this is why we stayed here! Attention to details and making a wonderful experience for us. All of the other reviews are correct...5 stars! We are definitely coming back. By the way, I have coming to Lake Tahoe for over 30 years and now I am sharing memories with my children. I hope you are able to defeat Measure T and continue short term vacation rentals for everyone to enjoy Lake Tahoe. Thank you Duggan for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Comfortable and close to everything

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is located very close to the California Lodge where there is ski school, but only up to level 2. It is a very short drive though to the Gondola where there are all levels of ski school. Restaurants and shopping were all close as well. Very convenient!

Good for skiing and a family trip

This is the 2nd time that we chose to stay at this property. That tells a lot about how much we like this property. It is one of the better ones in Tahoe with the gazzilion rental properties coming up. Overall the home is well maintained and kept clean. We still struggled with operating the TV and the music system and gave up (we struggled with the same last time also). Thankfully the owners took down the million "no noise after 10 p.m. or $1000 fine" signs that they had put up earlier during our 1st stay. That was a pleasant sight to see :) The kitchen was stocked extremely well and with good quality utensils and crockery. Often rental properties use cheap stuff but this house always has good quality stuff. The heating was perfect and kept the house nice and warm for us. The fans in the bedrooms helped a lot whenever the room became too hot at night. The hot tub was working in great condition and we had a great time using it. The only negative experience that we had was that the shower head in the bathroom downstairs could use a change where you don't have to individually wash every body part and the water flow is a bit more at least. The window in the bathroom could use a screen so that while taking a hot shower, you can keep the window cracked open to let some air circulate. The conditioner dispenser in the downstairs bathroom seems to be flowing non stop. My wife almost slipped the first day when she went in for a shower. There was conditioner hanging from the nozzle of the dispenser and not just a drop or two but like a bee hive and then we saw that it had drizzled on to the tub floor also and being the same color as the tub, my wife didn't see it and almost slipped. Thankfully we avoided, what could have been a major accident. We plan on visiting Tahoe for skiing at least 10-12 times this ski season and we will definitely stay at this property again if available. Overall a great experience!

I came to Tahoe on vacation from Australia in 1998 and was immediately smitten. In fact I moved here permanently ten years ago and have been loving it ever since. I am lucky enough to teach snowboarding at Heavenly each winter and work in construction during the summer. My wife Angela and I feel very lucky to be able to raise our two kids in this amazing outdoor playground.

We fell into the vacation rental business in 2010 after buying a house together with my mum, so Granny would have a place to stay when visiting our kids. Its been a great combination of my passions for real estate, construction and customer service. Location is everything for this house, immediate access to skiing, hiking and biking, incredibly quiet but just a couple of minutes to the center of the action. I gutted this house completely and rebuilt it with a new layout optimizing the space.
