About this space
Split level house centrally located to all your Alaskan adventures. Living room is upstairs, Bedrooms and bath downstairs. Walkability. Bike ability. At the intersections of all of Alaska's major roads and attractions. I have lived in Palmer for 40 years and am excited to share my town and home with visitors. It sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms downstairs. I have gates for the kiddos or a pup. And a fenced in back yard.
The space
Two bedrooms downstairs. This location is walking distance to breweries, restaurants, shopping and a great network of bike paths. Close to the mountains and rivers.
Guest access
Guests can access the entire house except for one closed off room. Laundry is accessed through the garage which holds owners' personal belongings, not to be used by guests. Your respect for my garage space is greatly appreciated.
Other things to note
Palmer is home to the Alaska State Fair, Colony Days, Colony Christmas, and misc arts fairs. It is at the crossroads to Denali, Valdez and Anchorage. There is almost always something going on. However if you want to sit on the deck and watch the migratory flights of Geese (Canada and Snow), Sandhill Cranes and Trumpeter Swans overhead, or walk to the Museum Gardens, you can do that too. Historic Hatcher Pass, The Musk Ox Farm, Reindeer Farm, and many other farms are a short drive away. Hike the Butte or the Railroad Trail. There are bike trails (paved and mountain biking) right out the door. Knik Glacier is a premier fat bike ride. Trail head is a short drive from here.
