Discover the beauty of Buffalo from this charming 2-bedroom third-floor loft apartment nestled in a historic home in the picturesque Delaware-West Ferry neighborhood. Located on the attic level, this enchanting retreat combines rustic character with modern comforts—perfect for couples, families, or remote workers.

The space features 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, a cozy living room with a full-size sofa bed, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Enjoy thoughtful amenities like free WiFi, a hair dryer, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals.

Please note: The unit is accessible only by climbing two flights of stairs. Guests with mobility limitations should keep this in mind when booking.

Cooling Information:
While the home does not have central air conditioning, we have added several cooling options to keep you comfortable during warmer summer days. The twin bedroom includes a portable A/C unit, and the kitchen is equipped with a window A/C unit. Additionally, there are two standing fans and a small portable fan with a water reservoir that provides a misting breeze. For best results, we recommend turning on both A/C units and placing the fans to create airflow toward the queen bedroom. Please allow 1–2 hours for the loft to cool down, especially during peak afternoon heat.

Old school loft that could use some updates. Stairs are private, but sketchy. Outdated bathroom, and needs good air cooling. It served its purpose.

Cute Spot in a Great Location

Very cute and cozy attic apartment - lots of woodwork and great light. One of the best equipped kitchens I've ever had in a rental - everything from an air fryer to a pressure cooker. Location is an easy walk past some amazing houses to Elmwood Avenue. Host was responsive to our questions, even providing a window unit AC when the weather turned unexpectedly hot. Would definitely stay again.

Charming place

This cute property offered plenty of space for our stay, which was nice! It's probably best suited for cooler days, as there isn't central air conditioning.We did notice the shower curtain coversion kit was small making the curtain a bit close in the tub, and the water pressure was a little low.Aside from those couple of points, the location was perfect! It was easy to get to all my favorite childhood spots, which was a huge plus. The host was also very responsive, which we really appreciated.

Good location, high loft

Overall the place was good. Didn't realize it is very high up third floor loft. Which means in the summer it gets very hot. They provided a couple portable Ac units but needed more to stay cool. Owner was responsive and tried but on the hot days it wasn't enough. So be aware if coming in the summer.Good size rooms and kitchen.

Overall very nice, and in great neighborhood of old homes. We knew there would be stairs, but not quite prepared for the steepness of the original attic stairs. Also, the shower setup in claw foot tub was inadequate and barely safe...curtain ring so small the liner clings to average size adults, and NOWHERE for soap or shampoo. New dishwasher and 2 coffeemakers but no toaster or hair dryer .

Large, fully equipped Attic apartment

My daughter & I stayed here this past week. While we were trying to figure out how to get in, we were approached by a woman (maybe the host?) who was extremely pleasant, showed us how to get in & explained that one of the comforters was still a little damp. The attic apartment is large, beautifully done with amazing hardwood floors, the biggest, fully stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen (& was really stocked to cook Asian food with all the sauces, spices & condiments in the cabinets & a Chinese cookbook on the counter!) The living room is comfortable with one of the prettiest stained glass windows I’ve ever seen. The bedrooms were large & comfortable. The clawfoot tub in the spacious bathroom was amazing (I clawfoot tubs!) Just a note, there are 2 flights of very steep steps to get to the apartment—very much worth the climb. The neighborhood is beautiful & quiet & the street parking is ample. Not far from the original Anchor Bar where we got wings to try—absolutely worth it—delish. Highly recommend-would absolutely stay again.

Hi! I'm Prathima, a lawyer and the founder of Reddy Law Firm. Though I currently live in California with my family, Buffalo holds a special place in my heart. The home where this loft is located has been in our family for years, and it's filled with memories. My husband, also an attorney, practiced law in New York, and we lived in this house before moving west for work.

To preserve our connection to Buffalo and share its charm with others, we recently transformed the attic level of our historic home on Linwood Avenue into an independent loft apartment. It was important to us that the space reflect the character of the neighborhood—rich in history and full of local charm—while still providing modern comforts.
