Seaclusion on upea merenranta mökki on upeat näkymät! Sijainti sopii mainiosti ikonin puolivälissä rannikon herkkuja Acadia Freeport! Belfast tarjoaa hummeri laiturille klo Youngs ja mielenkiintoisen valikoiman herkullista ruokaa kaupungissa.

Seaclusion on hyvin varusteltu 2 makuuhuoneen mökki, joka nukkuu 4 mukavasti. Valo ja valoisa makuuhuone on queen-vuode ja oma puoli kylpyamme. Vierashuone on mukava astella joka tulee helposti erillistä yhden hengen vuodetta tilaa ja joustavuutta. Iso valoisa suuri huone on täysin varustettu keittiö, iso ruokapöytä. Holvikatto, fanit ja ylisuuret ikkunat edessä lahden luoda avoin ilmavuutta. Saatetaan tärkein elintilaa on suora vent kaasu takka, futon, mukava rokkari, TV, ja DVD. Isossa kylpyhuoneessa on poreallas ja suihku tuuletin, lämpö ja erinomainen valaistus. Mökki tuntuu on parannettu puhdas mänty lattiat ja liuskekivi laatta ja kylpyhuoneissa. Pesukone ja kuivausrumpu sijaitsee hyvällä takana kaapin oven helppokäyttöisyys ja vielä ei näy vieraille.

Sit ruudulla kuistilla ja lukea kirjaa, pelata korttia tai vain tullut haltioissani alati muuttuvassa veden ja värin taivaan! Tunnelma ja mukavuus luodaan korituoleja, hylly, pöydät juomia ja koukkuja vaihteella.

Tuolit, piknik-pöydän ja grillaus tilaa yksityinen nurmikko tilaa edessä mökki on täydellinen syöminen, rentoutua ja nauttia kauniista näkymistä.

Superbly situated

I took the cottage for 10 nights. It was sited on the bay edge with magnificent view of the bay and surrounding area.Ann, the owner kindly visited for a chat and was a great lady. I had stayed before at Wonderview but rhis cottage experience far exceeded the previous rental. Would recommend this cottage without exception.

Several cottages in the area, but this place is the pick of the litter. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

Perfect peaceful setting

Our two weeks in this property was wonderful. It was very clean and well-equipped, but the best part is the beautiful view of Belfast Bay. We loved sitting on the screened-in porch which is so near the water. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Excellent cottage, excellent location

It’s more than a cottage. It is a very well maintained small house. On a perfect location with a great view of the water and access to the shore. We plan return visits. Possibly this fall and surely next spring.

PERFECT

Absolutely loved our week in this house! Comfortable, clean and the view is breathtaking. My husband never looked so relaxed .The screened porch was my favorite spot to put my feet up. Now that I think of it we never put on the television. The owner Ann is very helpful and informative..... until next year 😊

Perfect fall getaway

The stars aligned and we found Seaclution cottage on a perfect New England fall weekend. The location of the cottage on the property was ideal with privacy and quiet surroundings and the views spectacular. The cottage is immaculate and well appointed. The beds are comfortable and the fireplace was enough to take the chill off one night and made it cozy. Drinking coffee on the screened in porch in my pjs and slippers memorable. Youngs Lobster Pound ,just down the street ,was delicious. The location on the highway made it very easy to visit all of the towns around . This is the 5th VRBO home I have rented over the years. All have been good, meeting most of your typical expectations. But Seaclution only one so far that has exceeded my expectations of location, cleanliness, amenities,views, furnished as pictured, etc. Would love to come back.

Beautiful setting, views, and comfortable abode

The Somers' house is located in a small community of cottages of approximately 12 others, with a spacious green belt commons in the middle. These cottages were spaced enough so privacy was insured. The house itself is on the corner of the community on a bluff above the bay. There is an easy access to the rock beach, down wooden steps, from which one can walk either way down the coast. Seals rest on rocks in the bay as well as there are a pair of eagles that nest a short walk down the rocky beach. The cottage's interior is modern, updated with amenities, and clean. Well stocked with kitchen appliances and tools. There is also a very comfortable living room with large screen TV. It has good wi-fi. Four adirondack chairs facing the bay with a wonderful screened in porch, which affords one an expansive 120 degree or more view of the bay's horizon, with Penobscot peninsula in the distance. Contemplate the mysterious 1888 Steele Ledge Monument Lighthouse (aka Belfast Beacon) always on view. Read more about this structure at the website, "Lighthouse Digest." In short, we had a wonderful week by the Belfast Bay.

Spectacular cottage indeed!

This cottage more than lived up to our expectations! The views were gorgeous, the interior very clean and attractive, the beds very comfortable, the location great and close to downtown Belfast, and the instructions for using the TV, fireplace, appliances, etc. were readily available and easy to follow. Our only hiccup came in actually finding our cottage in this small compound, because we arrived in the dark of night and didn't expect #41 (our cottage number) to be right in the middle of the 1-10 numbered cottages and the 11-20 numbered cottages. But our host thoughtfully left on the porch light as well as the interior lights, so we eventually were able to peer inside and recognize the furnishings as being those that were pictured in the cottage we rented! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't imagine a better place to use as our homebase for a couple of days.

Beautiful view and relaxing stay

We were very comfortable in this cottage. The screen porch has a perfect view of the water and we spent a lot of time on it. We could adjust the temperature of the cottage with AC unit, gas fireplace, heat and lots of windows with good screens. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. A fully functioning kitchen and laundry were great. A beach to explore, lots of water activity to observe and abundant wildflowers added to the charm. Convenient to many good restaurants and day trips. Met the owner and she is delightful! Highly recommended.

Seclusion cottage

The cottage was perfect for our 4 night stay. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the ocean. It was centrally located, so we could visit Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Camden/Rockland area. We hope to be back!

Fantastic Maine Vacation

This little cottage is not only comfortable, beautiful but so peaceful! The ocean is right in front of you to enjoy watching, checking out after low tide and just listening to the crashing waves. Ann made us feel so welcome and had all of the anemeties that any traveler would need! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Always a pleasure

This experience was our 3rd straight year and we loved it a third time. Please see earlier reviews. The cottage is immaculate and kitchen is well stocked with the tools to make dinners. This year our cousins from Mallorca, Spain joined us for their first introduction to the Main coast Perfect weather and a visit of the resident bald eagle preening on a tree above the rocky beach.

The Somers family returned home to the coast of Maine in 2010 with the purchase of this amazing cottage. The design, colors and furnishings were a family project. Life is a balance between celebrations, play and relaxation at Seaclusion cottage.

Belfast has become our family's favorite place to visit. Some of us grew up here, some went to college in Maine and others have grown to love this happening city! The cottage is a place to gather and create new memories! It is a thrill to be able to share the sound of loons, seals, bellboys and the waves with our guests and family.

Whether sitting around the table, lounging by the fire, or reading a book on the porch, the sea is always in view! Sunrises, sunsets, kayak trips, walks on the beach and watching the moon rise on the bay make for a perfect day.

The cottage is a perfect home base for visiting Acadia National Park, Camden - state park and city, Rockland - museums and great food, Searsport - Marine Museum, great shopping in Freeport and all along the coast! The adventures are endless but walking the beach in search of treasures is the best!
